Paul and PJ are great. It s a family environment and they make you feel like you ve known them for years. They do great work and are knowledgeable mechanics. Any questions or concerns will always be met with an experienced solution. Not only did they repair my damage, they removed cement that was stuck on the car causing damage to my paint, they cleaned the floor mats and plastic installs. Paul and his staff do amazing work! Honest and reliable.When my car was hit, and the other driver wanted to settle without insurance, there was only one place i would bring to. There are plenty of shops near where I live, but I wanted it done right by a reliable shop. And I couldn't be happier with the work! Thank you!

I cannot say enough good things about this business. I was referred by a family friend who stated he has been going there for 10+ years. I was greated promptly by the owner, Paul who explained the whole process to me as I have never needed work on a car before. I needed a new grill and bumper. It took almost 2 months to get the parts, yet every week I would get a call from Paul with an update. Several times he would call the company on my behalf with me on the phone. Once the parts came in, he double checked everything was the right fit, painted and took care of the car in less than 5 days. Every step of the way he called m, kept me updated and doubled checked everything with me. I would 100% recommend this business to anyone. After a truck hit my parked Jeep, tore forward half my bumper, damaged my fender and turn signal lense, I took my Jeep to Superior for repairs. They removed the old bumper and its damaged mounts, assembled & installed a new bumper with new mounts, repaired my fender and replaced the broken lense at a very fair price. Superior had me back on the road in no time at all looking like new. I will definitely go back to Superior Maintenance for any future needs. They made everything quick and easy.Service: Body & Trim

I hit a truck tire tread at night on the NJ Turnpike and it shattered the left front fender all the way back around the tire on that side. After getting in a car accident on the highway near Carteret, NJ and not knowing the area, we did a quick search and came across Superior Auto and shop owner, Paul. We were so grateful to have had our accident near Superior! Paul went above and beyond to help us and even drove my husband to the local Enterprise to get a rental car so that we could continue on our road trip. He kept us updated during the entire body repair process and worked well with our insurance company. We are super grateful to Paul for his beautiful body work (car came out beautiful) and outstanding customer service. Go to Superior, you def won t regret it!Service: Auto body & trim repair

The ONLY place I d trust my vehicle(s) would be in great hands Superior Maintenance of Carteret. Been using for over 30 years and Paul has been my savior many times! I have been going to Superior Maintenance for years and have always gotten excellent professional service. When my VW Beetle was totalled in an accident, they rebuilt it and made it like new. I've gotten many auto repairs at Superior, some minor and some major, but each time they were great. I would recommend them everyone! My only negative would be that the yard/building where they are located looks very dirty and cluttered. Paul was great as he assisted me with a sudden flat tire that took place near his shop. He took a look at the tire as soon as I pulled in, identified the problem and fixed it on the spot. I called here last minute first thing in the morning needing my bumper reattached. Paul was more than willing to help me. He reattached my bumper, fixed a light, topped off all my fluids and had it ready for me by 2pm. Great price as well. You can't even tell I hit the deer. It looks brand new!

My car lost a battle with a concrete median on the NJ Turnpike last weekend, and Paul (who had just closed up shop for the day) opened it back up just to re-attach the front bumper, attend to the battery, and overall get my car running smoothly again. Friendly, funny, didn't rip me off, and didn't hold the car's New York plates against us. Next time we run into trouble on the tpke, I hope it's near Carteret!
