The people at this are truly honest individuals. They are extremely professional and honest. They talk to you about everything with your vehicle and they do not try to cheat you or get to make unnecessary repairs just to profit. I highly recommend this shop for any of your vehicles needs.

Needed a new battery for a car, the owner was very knowledgeable helping me make sure it was the right fit (I was installing it myself) and the price was about $80 cheaper than other resellers in the area!

I received spectacular service at Fix N Fuel! When my car started giving me issues, my biggest concern was cost. As someone unfamiliar with the inner workings of a car, I feared my naivete would be taken advantage of. Nick educated me on what the problem was and took the time to find the most cost-effective resolution. The team at Fix N Fuel were kind, patient and professional. I have been using fix &,fuel for a number of yrs for my vehicle and Nick and is staff have always completed maintenance on my vehicle. There has never been a problem and they also recommend if they see anything wrong they will call to advise me of a problem will definitely recommend him for repairs or maintenance on your vehicle plus aaa 10 percent discount on labor.Services: Transmission, Carburetor cleaning, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Transmission repair, Auto maintenance, Oil change

I love this garage. I was greeted by Meghan who was super sweet. I have had nothing but great experiences with them. My repairs have always been fairly priced and always done on time. The owner Nick is always helpful and very nice. I would highly recommend anyone who needs repair work done to definitely go there.

I do business with a reliable mechanic, I trust him. After all my life goes up to 75 mph at times. So when he recommended to see Nick, I went that same day. This business is professional, honest and just downright sensible in the knowledge of their craft. A straight forward guy and I wouldn't want it any other way when it comes to a vehicle. This is a small local shop but they are big on customer service and seem to employ some highly talented mechanics. Check engine went on. Brought Jeep in by 1 1/2 hours, they told me what was wrong and an estimate. By 4pm, the vehicle was ready.Real profesionals, friendly service and reasonable fees...I recommend them to all...Thank you Fix & Fuel...Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Nick is a very friendly and helpful guy. Didn't have any work done by them yet but he took a look at my car when it started getting engine knock and was very pleasant to deal with and helped me out with some advice and brief diagnostics without charging me anything. I definitely know where I'll go if I need service around here again.

Got my car towed here because some people I worked with recommended it. Let me tell you how much of a mistake that was. The day after my car got towed in I had to call them to see what was wrong. They called me back about an hour later telling me my differential locked up. I was told one price for the part and another for the labor(that kept going up the both times we spoke on the phone). They wanted to charge me almost $700 for a part I found for $300. I called them asking if I could bring my own part and just pay for labor, they then proceeded to tell me all these other things that were supposedly wrong with my car. Feeling like I was clearly getting ripped off, I got my car towed out and took it to a family mechanic. Who fixed my car and told me that I just needed new brakes......saving me $1300!

I've been bringing my cars to Fix n Fuel for years. They have a friendly knowledgeable crew and can do everything from an oil change, major engine work and full transmission rebuilds. I have yet to have a problem that they can't fix. There prices are very fair and comparable to any service facility in the area. You won't be sorry that you brought your car here.

Excellent service. Honest and friendly. Comprehensive evaluations before work begins. Busy place. Appointments are usual but walk-ins can sometimes squeezed in for minor repair or maintenance. AAA road service and towing. Rates for parts and labor are reasonable and comparable to other service places. Closed on Saturday during July and August.

Nick and Meghan were awesome. Super friendly - but even better, they diagnosed and fixed my car for a very fair price and even got it done a day early. They will even pick up and drop off your car if needed. Highly recommend them.

Went to Fix-N-FUEL last week, without an appointment, because my brakes were squeaking. The service manager, Megan took me right in right away and was able to fix my car within a few hours. I was told by another mechanic that I needed front and rear brakes but after the mechanic, Jose looked at them he said the rear brakes still had some meat on them (saving me a few hundred dollars). I was even asked if I wanted a coffee by the owner nick! Can't beat this type of service these days. I'll definitely be back, thank Fix-N-FUEL

I have been a PROUD Customer of Fix n Fuel for years now. I am very appreciative of how personal of a shop this place is. I can get pretty much anything fixed on my car or truck, and I can rest assured, the price is fair, the work is great and I will have my vehicle returned to me at the agreed upon time. Meghan-(Front Desk Receptionist), was horrible in conveying a simple message. All I asked was for a call back before my vehicle was worked on. I brought my car to another mechanic prior to Fix n fuel, they diagnosed the issue and stated he would charge $25 for an installation. He's 4 towns over. Eh, why not try my own backyard for good service... A few of the guys at the shop aren't so bad from two prior encounters. However, dead in the middle of winter I couldn't get these *nice* folks to motorize and shut one of my windows in an upward/closed position. (Meghan stated it would be a $45. charge for 1/2hr worth of labor to NOT FIX the issue, but to just close the window). Mind you, the previous mechanic was able to do so under 5min FREE of charge. I witnessed the "labor" first-hand, it wasn't intensive. Long story short, due to a misdiagnosis that could've been easily solved had I been contacted as I reiterated numerous times, I was quoted a (Potential Bill of...) $900+. Not to mention she talked up the labor and tax. NEVER Again!

I have been going here for 4 years. Great neighborhood auto repair. I like it because I can drop off my car and walk home. Of course I am sure not everyone has that option. One time they replaced a belt but the car continued to make the sound. They replaced the belt at no charge and fixed the work until it was done right. I only paid once. This is the type of service that should always be provided but is not at all places - at least here it is.

To be honest I hate giving bad reviews. Not doing this to be unfair or get even, this place took advantage of those with flooded cars do to the ida storm. So my car got water in the interior and a bit in the motor (lifted truck). Their saying was you got a vacuum leak. Ok where? We aren t sure. That s not something you want to tell a customer when I asked you to run the pressure test. Mind you I know my truck part by part just didn t have the tools. But the real issue was I had blown head gasket and cylinder. Which caused a vacuum leak. Which also lead to a bad intake gasket. Resulting a milky oil. From the contamination. So please don t have a shop open if your going to tell people I don t know or rush a job to make a quick buck. I was charged 287$ just for a belt changed and the coils done (parts were in the truck )that s insane when it was cylinder 3 5 two wires!!!! What a ripoff. To those who come to this place please be aware and do your own research.

Joe from Kirk's in East Orange was a great person who always took care of our cars. We followed him to Fix N Fuel and off the bat I felt that I was in the wrong place. Definitely did not feel like I was getting taken care of and had the overwhelming feeling many get going to the mechanic like someone is trying to pull one over on you. I'm not sure if it was the person I dealt with, Ken, or the entire shop. Honestly, I wanted so much to follow Joe and his crew from Kirk's because I never, EVER, felt like I was in bad hands....the opposite. I was their neighbor and being taken care of. Wish I didn't feel this way....I'm actually so sad to write a review like this.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Fix-n-fuel has been servicing my vans and cars for over 15years. Fast,Friendly service.They always squeeze me in some how some way.Once and done and no oil stains everleft behind in my cars.Can't beat their old school approach to treating customers right,hand shake and a smile and price is always right. Same issue, this will be my THIRD visit for trans. Learned about them through AAA, saw stars, assumed it was a great option. Maybe the reviews were fake, possibly written by family or friends because this can not be 4/5 star service in any world!!!! Still the same problem in less than 10 days. Why'd I go back the second time? I had a warranty. This is the only place I have to constantly return to for the same problem. All other work completed on this vehicle has not been repeated. Very unhappy!!! Extremely disappointed!!! Beyond frustrated!!!
