I bought my first car here and everything was made so simple! I had no prior knowledge of the car purchasing process. Thankfully, Dennis had explained everything so clearly and transparently, the process was made so easy. I couldn t be happier with my car as well. I would definitely recommend!

I had the pleasure of purchasing a car from Avenel Auto Sales. I had a ratty, old 2004 Dodge neon that . Believe me when I tell you it was night and day changing from that car to the other. The experience of the purchase was a very good one. Den is so down to earth, forthcoming with information, goes out of his way, above and beyond and even after the purchase, I could ask him for help with different questions and assist me in different ways. I believe he is extremely honest and I feel like he s a good friend now as well. I would suggest if you re shopping for a used car definitely go to Avenel Auto Sales. It s like going to visit your family when you walk in.

Dennis and his wife were world class! They run the business like it s a major big name dealership. Super transparent, HONEST, and actually care about making the client happy. What a delightful experience my fianc�e and I had purchasing a vehicle from them today! I would recommend anyone looking for a quality car without the headache and nightmare of going through a car salesmen to check them out! ********EDIT************UPDATE ********Less than 5 months and 3k miles from having this vehicle we've had to replace the transmission. Now 2 months later the car needs 2 more serious repairs. What we thought was a great deal has ended up on thousands of dollars in repairs. Yes this was a used car that was several years old, with very low mileage, but we had no idea what a money pit it would turn into. At this point we could have purchased a new car.Dennis and Sharon are really great! We came to purchase a used car and were on a specific budget. Dennis didn't try to hard sell us or make us spend more like other places , he was honest showed us what he had available and crunched numbers for us so we knew what the bottom line was. Cars are priced great, in excellent shape, and many with low mileage! Truly a stress free experience! Super happy with our new to us car and hope to have it for many years! Thanks Dennis and Sharon!

Best decision coming here for a car. Dennis was very welcoming, helpful, and honest. First time financing a car and he made it so easy as he walked me through the process explaining everything along the way. He was extremely helpful with everything, went above and beyond, and was completely honest with prices, quality of the car, and what vehicle best suited me. Great place for a car, very good and honest people. Highly recommend!

Dennis worked with my daughter and I during the purchase of her first vehicle. He was upfront and wasn't pushy after she test drove one vehicle that she wasn't really interested in post-test drive. He showed us the rest of the inventory and when she found a different vehicle that was more of what she was looking for, he spent time going over the vehicle prior to, during and after that test drive. When she decided to purchase, he explained the buying process to my daughter as well since it was her first vehicle. He and his wife are friendly and courteous. It's been a week since purchase and my daughter is very happy with her 'new to her' vehicle. I wouldn't hesitate to give a referral to Avenel Auto Sales. Dan M.

I bought a car From Dennis, the whole sales experiance was smooth, and Dennis did everything he could to not only get me approved, but also a Good Interest Rate and Monthly payment. After a week of owning the car the alternator went. I knew this was a possibility as I had just bought a USED CAR. Dennis felt so bad he went out of his way to try and find me the best deal and save me some money. I would suggest going to Avenel Auto for your next car, as I'll be back in the future to buy another. Thank You Dennis!!!

Spent 13k on a used car here, but has since needed 7k in repairs in under 7 months. They're very nice ppl, but now we're stuck with a money pit.EDIT TO ADD I did call the shop and was told to call the warranty company and nothing else.

Friendly, and they have a wide selection of different vehicles depending on your budget. The waiting room is filled with all types of model cars. It's definitely worth just passing by, have a great time picking out a car, just conversing with Dennis and Sharon will be worth your time!

My car decided to take a permanent vacation out of the blue, I needed something asap! (Rides to work are not cheap!). I was hesitant to try an auto sales place but Dennis found me an awesome used car thats great on gas! Dennis & Sharon are honest, answered all my questions & the paperwork was quickly taken care of. Highly recommend!

Was looking for a good used car for our son's first car, but was having a very hard time finding anything that looked decent - it seemed like most of the lots were rolling out either super expensive cars or really beat up, not well maintained cars. I found this place on the internet, saw they had some really good options, and went to take a look. I am glad we did! We got a one owner loaded Chevy Malibu in really mint condition for its age at a fair price (given the time we were buying). They were helpful during the process and even hooked my son up with car insurance, when he had told us it was all set and it wasn't. (Teens! *eyeroll*). We bought the car about a month ago, and no hidden issues so far! Will definitely recommend to friends and family!

I recently bought a toyota camry from Dennis. Have to say he and his staff was very courteous and got a good condition car for the price. He provided a good deal for a nice decent car and what we were looking for. I would definietly recommend this place to freinds and family and would come here if I have to buy a used car again.

Dennis worked with me from the beginning. He helped me get an amazing car at a more amazing price.Paperwork was done super quick. My car runs like a dream, it is clean and the warranty that Dennis provided me is great and makes me feel more at ease about purchasing a used car. If you are looking to buy a car don't hesitate to give Avenel auto sales a try. It's a mom and pop business and that means it's a more personal experience. Highly recommend it.

I purchased a Chevy Cruze from Avenel Auto Sales and let me tell you it was a great experience. This was my first timing buying a car with financing, but Dennis and wife walked me through the process every step of the way and even helped negotiate to get a better rate on my loan. I have had my car for about 6 months and it has been running great, I haven't had any issues with it and have gotten nothing but complements about the vehicle. If you look at the rest of their reviews they are glowing and honestly after patronizing their business they deserve every last great review.

Dennis was/is like a godsend. I don t have to vouch for him just talk to the guy you ll see that he s a straight shooter he s honest and he keeps your best interest at heart. I was even fortunate enough to run into buyers who had already bought from him in the past and they came straight back to him because they trust him. Dennis was very consultative and personable while maintaining his professionalism. He presented me with several options and weighed the pros and cons of each with me. Like a wise uncle giving you advice. He s got great lenders who worked with me. I was able to get a low monthly payment and a short term loan which will help my credit score tremendously. He even referred an insurance agent who got me a low priced quote. All in all really glad I ran into him and was really glad that I walked away with a good car that s reliable. So If you re looking for a low priced used car that s more importantly in REALLY GOOD CONDITION and is going to give you some LONGEVITY Dennis is the guy you talk to. Thank you Dennis .

I bought my car here about a month ago. The while process was so seamless and effortless. I came in and was able to drive off the lot within a few hours. Purchased a used 2014 Chevy Equinox which was in excellent shape at a decent price. Dennis was very helpful, knew his stuff, and made us feel very welcomed. This is not your typical used car salesman as honesty and integrity seems to be the foundation of his success. Expect a great visit with little resistance on negotiation. Really wants what s best for his customers with in mind that it is a business and has to be profitable in order to stay in business. All used vehicles seem to be kept in excellent shape. Highly recommend!!!!! But don t go by my word, see for yourself.

in my opinion the was the best experience ever buying a vehicle.Dennis and his wife are very nice people and i didn't feel any pressure on my decision.I felt that he was very honest, and help me get the best deal on my purchase. You don't get that from other dealerships, to sum it up Fantastic service! They have very clean and nice looking cars!If i ever need to buy a car again avenel auto sales is the place for me!!

Definitely had a great experience and got a good running car. No pressure to buy out of our budget. Makes you feel welcome and comfortable. The help they provided for me and my children was above and beyond. I can't tell you how grateful we are to have found an honest and reasonable person to buy from like Dennis and his family. I am recommending everyone that needs a car right away, please try this place first. They will do whatever they can to help you .

My wife and I bought our son his first car this past weekend. Dealing with Dennis and his family was a great experience. I will add to this review in the coming weeks when I see how the car we bought off Dennis performs. Excellent service!! I just bought my SECOND used car from this dealership, and I must say that I am pleased with the pricing and service EVERY time I visit the dealership!! Car shopping is definitely one of the most stressful things to do especially as a college student, but Dennis (the owner) made my first and second car experience perfect!! The cars are great quality and in great shape. He sat down and talked with me about every single car I was interested in and gave me the pros and cons to help me make that final decision. I love the fact that he is interested in making sure that his customers are happy and satisfied with their purchase, instead of just trying to sell a car and make fast $$$ like most dealers nowadays. Overall GREAT experience, I will be back in the future!!!!

After looking all morning for a car at various dealerships me and my father ended up remembering this place since we have drove past it for years. When we arrived I looking around and spotted a VW CC and after further inspection I ended up wanting to buy it, the car was very affordable(very hard a decently priced car in todays market) after speaking with Dennis and a test drive I was sold on the car. Dennis is a great guy and will always keep it real with you and will not try to sell you any bs cars. He was very pleasant and funny to talk to and very helpful as well he took really good care of helping me with the process. Overall if your looking for a used car I would 100% recommend here.

This place is by the far the best pre-owned car sales lot that I have ever been too. The approval process is quick and easy, mostly everybody will get approved (I have a very poor credit score and I was able to get approved). All of the cars on the lot are in excellent used condition, and most importantly: the owner Dennis is one incredible guy to do business with. He will work with you as best as humanely possible to make sure you leave happy and satisfied with your purchase. Huge shoutout to them for giving me an awesome new/used car for a great price!

This was an amazing experience. I came in needing a car as mine had just died and was treated with courtesy and was given helpful information without any fluffy. They answered my questions and worked with me for hours to get the car on the same day. Highly recommended if you are a in need of a quality used.
