Mike is a great guy! Wicked friendly and helpful, points out what needs to be done and not what just pads the wallet. Fast, friendly, and reliable, what more could you want from your local mechanic!

We brought our van in so they could quote us a price on a new muffler and we made an appointment for the following week. On the day of service, the shop called and said the van was done and told us the price. They also said they did an oil change, which we did not request and the job was more than they quoted and rather than call and get an okay, they just did the work without our approval. The shop owner decided to do the oil change and the extra work without ever telling us. The bill was way more than we were quoted and they just did whatever they wanted on their own accord.We have used this shop for many years and Mike, the mechanic was a great guy but he recently left and the new mechanic just did what the owner told him to, where Mike would have run it by us first, like a professional should! Needless to say, we re now looking for a new shop!Service: Exhaust

The guys are amazing and they tell you right off whats going with the car most honest auto repair I've ever been to. Ladies they will even explain to you so you know what the parts are used for and how it works so you understand more about your car. No other shop does that !!! They are greatly appreciated and im very grateful for finding them and will continue to go to them for what ever needs to get done .Thank you guys for being GREAT at what you do.

Update, still love these guys. New to the shop is Ben and he worked his butt off to troubleshoot a brake issue. Busy place now which has to tell you something,Great shop! Trustworthy and really helpful with older vehicles too! Highly recommend and so happy they have their Somersworth location.Services: Carburetor cleaning, Electrical repair, Exhaust, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

I have always had the best experience with these folks. I moved from Maine recently, where i went to their Eliot Me. garage. I have always been treated fairly and honestly. They take pride in what they do. Quality work and very reasonable prices. I comparison shopped a few times and they beat everyone.

The old guy (Mike ) was pretty good. The new owner is a rip off. Charged me 25 bucks for "shop supplies" which was a little bit of grease. brought truck back to fix errors and was charged 85 for a set of codes he downloaded. never called me back with what was wrong. DONT GO THERE. The place is leased to them by Gateway Gas in Berwick Maine just down the street. Go there for your repairs, they are honest .

Hands down the BEST place around!!! They were the only ones who could fix my truck! Great prices! Fair people!! Go here if you need vehicle work done. You won't be Sorry! My daughter goes here now too. Thank you for your amazing work & HONESTY

Mike and the shop s owner are two of the hardest working and honest mechanics I ve ever found. They always do their best to squeeze you in when you re in a bind, and you never walk away feeling like you over paid. Definitely recommend them!

These guys went above and beyond to make sure I had my car back in a timely fashion. They kept me informed and did no work before calling me. It's getting harder and harder to find a good neighborhood garage. I highly recommend Gateway.

VERY shady business! There labor rates and parts are through the roof told me one rate I went to pick my car it was triple the price!! Also Kept my car way longer then necessary. I will NEVER do business with this place again! Steer clear of this place!!

Well.. I tried going in for a repair today. The first guy was helping me. I was talking with the guy about symptoms and asked if they could diagnose. He grabbed a business card to write down what I needed to know. A second guy came into the office. Grabbed the business card from his coworker and said they couldn't help me. The first employee looked confused as the Indian guy quickly shut our conversation down and refused me service

Extremely friendly staff and very reasonably priced. Most convenient state inspection I've had on the seacoast, and I've been here for five years now. Will definitely return!

Well unfortunately this shop doesn't believe in answering the phone? Try to call a few times, different days but no answer. I guess business is good because they don't need to answer the phone. So much for trying to give the little guys a chance, took it to Somersworth Nissan with a coupon.......

I'm giving one star the gentleman there with the beard and glasses and very rude acted like he could careless about the need to my auto mobile and the urgency to be fixed instead he had me hanging around and listening to him and his two friends bragging about them selves so I decided to go somewhere else he followed me to my car and asked me what the problem was then told me if I could get the car to his house in Maine and keep it to myself he could fix it in his driveway for alot cheaper than at the garage. I asked if he was the owner and he stated no , but he was much better of a mechanic than the owner although tempting I told him I would have to pass he then turned angry and said he should charge me for waisting his time So beware of this particular mechanic just down right rude he would rather chat with his friends then be bothered by his bosses customers

The owners will take great care of you. They arent as expensive as the dealers and just as good. You wont spend what you dont have to here.

This is the ONLY place I take my car. The owner and workers are honest , and always willing to help you get it fixed right and as cheap as they can ... LOVE THEM

Had work done at Berwick garage many times no problems went to Somersworth garage got a price of around 300.00 to fix water pump then they added expensive parts i did not approve of having done all told and done the bill jumped to 771.00 I told them i gladly pay for work i asked for them to do and work out deal to pay more a 300.00 pipe was put on with out them calling to see if it was all right.

Rude not very informative highway robbery on the prices under staffed more like a gathering place than a business wouldn't recommend getting air for my bicycle tires there the price doesn't fit the quality of the work
