I went to the Auto Hospital to get just one door fixed. I didn t realize until a few days later that they fixed the two back doors of my Suburban. Cody, his father, and the mechanic responsible for doing this are wonderful guys! Thank you so very much for going the extra mile for me!

The owner here is fantastic and I would've trusted them with my car, but they failed to follow up with me, so I had to look elsewhere. Everyone here is very kind, but my mother said the front desk person she called was a bit snippy with her and a bit unprofessional. Again, great owner and mechanics who talked me through the issue and even showed me exactly what was wrong. The only thing is the front desk man could be a bit more professional.

The owner, Troy, is a very nice person who takes the time to explain the big and small aspects of the repair while making you feel you are the only customer at that time. It can be a bit chaotic in the office, so that skill is very much appreciated. The work is top notch, fair priced and quick. This is one of the slimiest businesses that I ve ever had to deal with. I brought in my car for a simple AC recharge. I was quoted $150 for the procedure. When I arrive back to pick up my car they informed me that they were not able to recharge my AC because my AC system was out of date and needed to be replaced. They then continue to bill me $150 for the service that they DID NOT perform on my car!! I argued that since they did not perform the service they had quoted me for that I should only be charged for the less than one hour of labor of inspecting the system. They insisted that $150 was for labor and quote diagnosis . You can t argue with slime or stupid so I gritted my teeth paid the $150 and left. If you re looking for a good HONEST automotive shop this is not the one. Go find a more honest and respected business elsewhere.

Have been a customer of the Auto Hospital since April of 2019. They service both my Ford vehicles. Troy, Cody, and the team do a far better job than any of the Ford dealers in the area. On the most recent used Ford I purchased they found the new brakes put on by the dealer were not the correct type for the vehicle. I know when they do a routine service my vehicle will get a complete safety check. The timing of their oil services is somewhat shorter than that recommended by Ford. But I know that in the harsh conditions of Nevada, I can travel confident knowing my oil is up to par. Great and friendly service, was a able to diagnose and resolve an electrical taillight issue on my 2014 F150. Was very knowledgeable about Fords and F150s.

Just to give a heads up for anyone seeking auto repair, maintenance or freely advice given, The Auto Hospital is a number one place to go. I have taken my car here two times for repairing two different issues and I will continue to trust the mechanics here for more work needed. Troy, Steve, and the other guys (I've not gotten their names) are all highly trained, knowledgeable, very honest mechanics that explain everything they would do, will do and how they succumbed to their conclusion. I've met Mary, and we chatted about camping and such, Cody, at the front desk with enthusiasm and a friendly welcome. I truly appreciate their quality service. Not to mention their family oriented atmosphere where I feel I just made new friends.So go ahead, join us lucky folks that are completely confident our vehicles are in good hands and you won't be blindsided with outrageous estimates for unnecessary procedures. You will be glad you did... And maybe you could mention my review helped you choose The Auto Hospital for your vehicles needs. The Auto Hospital is by far the best place in Reno to take your vehicle to. They treat you fairly and you can always trust they will take good care of your car and do the the job right the first time around. Troy has a talented hard working team of employees and an outstanding business. Steve also kept me up to date on my Trailblazer every step of the way when it broke down on me recently no matter how busy they were. I have been going to The Auto Hospital the past couple of years & will continue to use The Auto Hospital in the future. Thank you guys for all of your help.

Troy, Steve and crew are the very best at diagnostic geniuses. They've taken care of my vehicles for many years. This is the shop to bring your vehicles to to know it will be done correctly. They always have discount services with online coupon. I drive with comfort knowing if I have a problem it can be fixed.

The auto hospital replaced my steering rack on my car quickly and did a great job. I had it replaced just months before by someone who really messed it up. I didn t go here, I live in Sacramento but, my son & his gf would have been stranded in Reno if they hadn t went out of their way to make time to fix their vehicle and provided excellent customer service . They were packed and still made time for them even though they didn t have an appointment and showed up last min. This means a lot to me! Glad to have my loved ones back safely !

We have been going to the Auto Hospital for over 5 years. There is no other place I would take my cars. Your in good hands with them. They are honest, fast and friendly. Their work is always done correctly and you can depend your car is in good working order with the care and pride that they do. I always brag about them to all my friends and tell them that they can't go wrong taking their cars to the Auto Hospital.

These guys are awesome. We were from out of town and needed help with our little Metropolitan. They knew what to do and took great care of us. Troy, the owner is the best and Steve was excellent as well. A huge shout out for them. In a world of don't trust a mechanic business. These guys are trustable.

Excellent service for a great price! I'm new to Nevada and I'm glad I took my car to The Auto Hospital. I had never heard of a TSB, technical service bulletin, however Troy researched the TSB's for my car before he did anything. He found that I was experiencing a simi-common problem. I didn't feel pressured to make any extra repairs and they made sure they solved my problem in the most cost efficient way. We discussed options and prices before they did anything. I couldn't be happier with their service. I recommend the Auto Hospital to anyone and everyone! I will continue to take my car there for everything!

Had a great experience with auto hospital. Troy the owner is VERY knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have about what is going on with your car. They really do a thorough inspection. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new mechanic.

Troy told me on the phone a new airconditioner compressor would be $2600 for the part & total price to put it in would be $4000. I called Autozone. That compressor was $311 . I didnt need a Honda part. When I went to pick up my car Troy said that he was sorry it cost so much because the cost to him was $1800 for an airconditioner compressor. He couldn't even keep his lies straight. Wow what a scam artist. Run from this place. He could have been decent but he's lazy & wants to extort people from out of town. What he did was to replace the car battery. Thank you. After having the car for 3 days the battery arrived just as I arrived. I was prepared to take the car to Autozone buy the battery & have AAA put it in for me..He finally admitted that most likely the air compressor clutch needed replacing. He could have done it..the part is cheap enough & one bolt holds it in place. I've read all these good reviews. But why did I get this sorry treatment? Maybe these good reviews are fake.. Yes I plan on reporting him to BBB. If I could give zero stars I would. Total was $350 for his diagnostic plus a battery. I do not recommend this place ever. I got what I paid for but not the repair I asked for..But of course if i was willing to stay in Reno another week & give him 4k. I would have airconditioning.

These guys always take care of me and my vehicles. Though the lobby is small, coffee and 2 dogs await you. Yes, please! Their work is thorough and honest. They do a good job and will get it right the first time.

"The Auto Hospital" definitely earns 5-Stars. For auto tuning and diagnostics, Troy, Cody and their team are Super Stars. They did perfect jobs on both of my cars. Carburation and electronics. Troy and the team have the knowledge and experience to make things perfect. I highly recommend them for any and all automotive work. Thank you guys!

23+ years in business and 5 stars to boot!(Do yourself the justice and read the very few less than 5 star ratings)Actions speak louder than words.Was highly recommended to these guys 20+ years ago, and as with all there other reviews I have never been disappointed.Straight shooters - NO B.S.I do the majority of all my own automotive work, so when I have needed professional help Troy has always been there!THANK YOU !!!

UPDATED REVIEW: Troy, the owner, took the time to follow up with me on this and appologize and explained the circumstances that resulted in no one assisting me during my vist. He made a good faith offer to accomidate a diagnostic on my vehicle outside of regular business hours. I am updating my review to include 4 stars. Thanks Troy!ORIGINAL REVIEW:Customer Service needs improvment. Made an appointment, arrived 10min early and entered the office/front desk area. Mid-morning, not near lunch or just after opening. No one was present, however there was a sign stating that if no one is available after a short time please ring the bell and Cory the office manager or Troy the owner would be out to assist. So I waited, made eye contact with a mechanic in the work area and eventually I rang the bell when it appared he was not coming to greet me. a short time later I hear the same person enter in a back entry and let someone in the back office know there was a customer waiting up front and had been waiting for a bit. I could hear the person in back he was speaking to respond "ok" and the mechanic went about doing his thing. The phone rings and I can hear the person in back answer and respond to the caller then end the call. I looked down the hall could see an open office and it seemed the sounds were coming from there so I said "Hello?" no response so I assumed maybe they were busy. About 5 minuites later I thought its been a while so I rang the bell again. Shortly after the same mechanic I had made eye contact with and had spoken to the person in back comes up front and says "Sorry, Cory will be up shortly he is in the restroom." At this point I am a bit suspicous as I could clearly hear someone in the back office and not in a restroom... The phone rings again and I can hear the same person take the call, finish and end the call. I waited another 5 minutes and began to think... If I'm waiting 25min just to speak to someone on entering this establishment after making an appointment what does that say about thier overall customer service model. I was not about to entrust my vehichle to anyone with such litle respect for my time I could only imagine the same would go for the respect for my property.

Troy definitely cares about his customers, though my second and last service with him was poor at best. He does appear to follow up with most of his customers. At the time he seemed over worked and didn't diagnose my issue to my satisfaction. They originally replaced my HVAC control unit because it had failed. I went back because we kept smelling exhaust which is still present. The interior air circulation control isn't functioning properly. Something appears to be wrong with the original install. Tried to contact him recently, haven't heard anything yet thought I'd write the review. I will probably take my issue elsewhere. I need it professionally diagnosed.

Troy and team really saved my butt. I'm driving out rv across country from Florida and the steering wheel started thumping. Even though they were totally busy, they checked the front end and found a nut loose on the upper control arm. If that had fallen out we would have crashed. They pulled the bad rotors the next morning and got me on the road at a fair price .I really feel they saved our vacation and hell maybe our lives.

I broke down up in the truckee area.(from Sacramento to reno) No shops were able to help me out. So finally started calling all the way down into reno (was going to be getting towed) . Well after a long day of fighting my way off the highway I showed up 30 minutes before they closed. Troy the owner ran down the part with only 4 minutes to spare before the ford dealership closed. He stayed open late to fix my f250. He and his son (a family operation) are the all American kind of people that all Americans should want to support and can trust for a quality job... Troy, can't thank you enough. I was stranded high and dry, and you had my back.CHEERS BROTHER, and THANKS FOR CARING

Check engine light on my mini. The group at The Auto Hospital were able to diagnose it quickly and repair it quickly. They did have to get a part from Mini, but their service and fees were much cheaper than what it would have cost me at Mini.

I ve had my truck in to Troy a few times. He is always thorough with getting to the problem and doesn t fix things unnecessarily. I will continue to use The Auto Hospital for my vehicle and would recommend them to anyone who needed auto service.

I'm turning them into the better business bureau. They didn't even run a smoke test and charged for it and are attempting to replace two of the most expensive parts when one part is confirmed to not be an issue. If I suffer gas mileage issues I will cite their diagnostic and take them yo small claims court over it. Sad that they tried to extort my mother while I'm at work.
