Was offroading and camping in the mountains for a couple of days from out of town, then someone tried to steal my catalytic converter in the city. These guys got me in and out in 30 minutes and fixed my issues. Suv was pretty dirty from the trails but they didn't care, and they let my dog hang out in the waiting room so she wouldn't get hot. It's probably one of the best shops I've been to in a while.

Let s just state that we are a mechanic shop and we take reviews super Serious. We had a custom LS swap we needed exhaust made. They let our customers vehicle sit out in the rain without it s front clip installed to help them do there job. And made every excuse to slow play getting us a quote. When they did it was 4 times the cost of what the job was worth. Obviously the over bud the job so they didn t have to do it. (It was a simple straight pipe from header job) very disappointed

Needed my exhaust rehanged, quoted me a price of $396, charged me 60 bucks for a "diagnostic" kept my car all day when I dropped it off at 9 in the morning. Probably was never going to get a call from them that day so I called them and they told me my car was available for pickup (surprise) they said they will schedule my work 3 week out since they didn't have any 2.5 inch pipes in stock. I would have preferred if they just told me there was nothing they could have done from the start. Waste of time, I had a different shop do the work for $125 and they had it done in one hour.Service: Auto exhaust system repair

I went into this shop on October 14th and asked about doing a muffler delete on my car. I was told that they could not do the work until the 19th of November. I said not problem Im not in a hurry to get it down. I then asked if I could get an estimate and the guy tells me not until November 19th. I said that really doesn't make sense. He said sorry we are really busy. So just go be clear I could not get the estimate until the work waz done. Never have I see this before. Glad these guys are busy because with customer service like this good luck.

Terrible communication. Wasted 2 trips to town (45 minutes each way) after they said they could check out our catalytic converter, looked the first time, scanned it and said they'd order everything and call us in a couple hours. Never called. Called 5 times over 36 hours until someone finally looked up or service order and said everything's here, come in tomorrow morning. Showed up in the morning with 2 cars ready to leave it and they didn't know what we were talking about and refused to do it. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED.

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. I get all my trailer work done here and have not regretted it. If it s not right they will make it work. Oscar the weenie dog is very cute and fun to interact with.

Poor service and lies about when work was going to be done. This is Tim , scotty you told my to have my wife take xanax! Poor business practice dude. She is upset because of all your lies over and over. 4 weeks and you couldn't get a small job done. The stuff missing from boat could have been taken by public, we never said your people, however you were much to hysterical to listen. Also hang up phone . Very professional business!Lol

Tried to charge me a $70 diagnostic fee for an exhaust leak. When I questioned this, he said it was a fee to write me an estimate! I took the car elsewhere

I can t say enough how awesome this place is, I want to personally thank Scott, for being such a great guy and such a big help. They did a great job deleting my muffler and resonator, great job welding and everything all around, outstanding customer service, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

There are plenty of muffler/alignment shops in Reno/Sparks but in my opinion, don't waste your time going anywhere but McVay's Muffler in Sparks. I have a '92 Ranger with 213K miles on the clock and had my exhaust system and an alignment done at McVays. They did the work in a day, the prices were very reasonable, the work was done right, the first time and Eric Norcross, the GM is a great guy to work with!If you need some RV work done, bring it to Washoe Fabricating (same building) and talk to Greg-ditto above. Had to have a receiver and 7-pin connector put on my Exploder and they did a professional, great job. If you think service and professionalism are a thing of the past, go see these guys!

In every city, there's always that ONE auto maintenance shop who is the "go-to" for everything, and gives it to you straight, no B.S., for a reasonable price. This is that place in Reno, and gets 5 stars from me because of their awesome customer service and superior mechanical prowess.

Scheduled an appointment to have some exhaust pieces made for my boat after being told what I needed could be done. I took the night off to make this happen as I cannot leave the boat outside due to weather. I show up and was basically told it's too difficult and they did not show any interest. Thanks for wasting my time.

2 mufflers, and some crooked pipe for 11hundred bucks, also took 3 days and they forgot the 02 sensor bungs. If you want overpriced poor quality work you found the right place

I was threatened with a bat money thrown into the ground locked in the building unable to leave and tripped me by kicking me I have it all recorded in case anyone would like to see how they treat customers
