I was 13 miles from my destination, 650 miles from home. This was also 100 miles from Josh. I called around after waiting for 12 hours for AAA to never come. All shops were booked a week out was the shortest length, most of them 2 weeks, up to 3 weeks out. I had an event to go to that I spent thousands of dollars to attend, and it appeared I was possibly going to miss it while using a week of my precious vacation time. I stumbled across Josh from a Google search and called him. I used to be a mechanic too, and unfortunately didn t have the tools to do the wheel bearing on my F350 4x4. I talked with him and asked if he would be willing to pick up the parts for me on the counter at the parts store. I reminded him that we also needed snap ring pliers, and he was looking for them. He couldn t find his so ended up buying more, but came out and rescued me. We swapped the driver side caliper, and wheel bearing and he had me patched up in no time. I just wanted to reiterate that I was 100 miles one way from him!! After we bled the brakes, I was on my way after losing just one day. So happy I got to continue my vacation, and make it back home. Definitely replacing the other side caliper and wheel bearing before I take off on another road trip, but what a blessing to have found him. He was amazing. He came in knew what was wrong with my daughters car. Had to go to two stores to get the parts came back. Got it fixed. Got it running car runs like it should very reliable good price. Highly recommend him

Josh's mobile mechanic service is by far top-notch!I had recently broke down quite a ways from town and from my home and could not get a tow truck due to the time of night that it was.So I decided to go ahead and give this guy a try.I looked online, saw his reviews were very good. I gave him a call. Within an hour, he was meeting me at my car.Did the diagnostics, had all the things that he needed. Determined it was my car's starter.Josh Gave me a very fair quote. More fair than I've ever experienced with any other shop here in town. We made an appointment time for the following morning at 10 a.m. He said that he would bring the part, which the next morning at 10 a.m. On the dot, he shows up with the part in hand with a lifetime warranty and within an hour, my car is back on the road and running like a champ. Josh's mobile mechanic is top-notch. For a single guy working out of his garage he dose some dam good work, I would highly highly recommend this guy to wrench on your vehicle. Definitely cheaper than a shop in town, worked on my car same day and had it done same day. Give him a call for your next vehicle repair. You won t be disappointed! Thanks man!!

My name is Aaron I am a 54 year old man and me and my wife were coming back from Utah a couple of days ago August 31st, and started leaking water at about the BoomTown Exit in Verdi just outside of Reno.To my unexperienced eye it looked like a pipe had burst on the end. we got a room in Boomtown after having no luck finding a mobile mechanic after calling numerous mobiles from the google search.A majority were disconnected. or no answer. We got a room in Boomtown, and in the early morning, found Josh on a Google search. He agreed to come to our casino to fix us up. Josh arrived when he said he would. He quickly found the problem, and this was more than a hose issue as a part had completely cracked apart. we called around, Josh went to get the part, and sent me a quote. His service is worth every penny. He is not cheap, mind you. Anyways he drove and got the part, came back and installed with the hands of a surgeon. I am serious.... after this casing for the coolant was back on, there was still a small leak in an area that shouldn't have been leaking. it was a bleeder valve coming from my recovery tank and it is no bigger than a quarter, cracked in half. we called around and were lucky that the folks at the Corwin Buick in Reno had this very trivial part.. I am sure Josh and I both are still surprised. he drove back to Reno again to secure this part and we went back to the car where he anxiously finished the job.... He did not re-give a quote after this issue was found. He spent 4 hours with us and helping us to make sure we were back on the road.. Incredible.. Thank you Josh.. I don't usually give 5 star reviews, but Josh definitely delivered each and every star. Driving from Utah to CA I stopped to visit friends for a few days and when I went to leave my Dodge Leisure travel van had a rough start and within 10 miles threw a Check Engine light. Josh picked up the call, we met right after his current call. Ran a diagnostic and I had a misfire on cylinder 7, showed me the readout, showed me how to tell the spark plug was bad, worked efficiently and had me up and running with fresh spark plugs and distributor cap in no time. I would definitely book him again when I come back through just for a quick check up. My van is purring like a kitten and I am excited to find an ethical skilled mechanic.

Josh was amazing , I reached out to him for something I assumed was simple and I needed done the same day since my dmv appt was the day after . He stayed until It was done for my 1967 Camaro. I honestly thought it would be an easy fix but turned out to be bigger since I changed the radiator and he had to do some custom wiring and fix other things I messed up while I tried to work on it . I switched from 1 fan to an electric 2 fan high performance radiator combo. The car is in top shape and it was just something I didn t want to wait on. I was so happy I want him to do other jobs on my car. It doesn t need much but with a classic you always find something to change . Also while I get to watch and learn from my house . Great guy, you should hire him for your car or if you have a classic . I know I want a few other things done .Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical

Our vehicle got stuck in Sparks.. we were from our of town.. Joshua was great he helped fix our electrical issue and got us back on the road.. I'm programming his number into my phone for the future..

Stay away! I wouldn't recommend Joshua. He massively overcharged me for 20min job which even turned out to be a sloppy work. Although he promised to do any further alternations in case his repair was not good (he was only replacing my alternator belt) he never responded or answered any of my calls and messages. Worst of all, the belt he put on just broke down on the first next trip.

Josh was fantastic to work with! The car broke down and he ran a diagnostic on it and then checked it out and figured out that we needed to replace the distributor on the car. He got the distributor and had it all replaced within hours! He walked me through what was wrong with it and showed me the difference in the distributors. He knows what he's doing and patiently explains what was wrong and how it needed fixed. He answered all our questions quickly and made sure we understood everything. Two days before I was supposed to leave on a cross country trip to New York, my check engine light came on. It had some thing to do with the oil pressure but I wasn t sure what was the problem. I called Josh to discuss the possibilities and we determined the most likely culprit was simply the oil pressure sensor. I grabbed the parts and he came out a few hours later, and had me up and running in less than 30 minutes, I would highly recommend Josh if you re stuck or need your vehicle worked on. Joshua gave me a quote on a new AC Compressor for my 2006 Honda CRV within a few hours that was far more affordable than other mechanics/shops in the area. Cash only, but it was well worth it. My son and I were traveling from California to Idaho for my sons job, when the radiator on my car blew up. It was a Saturday afternoon, so while waiting for the tow truck my son started calling different shops to see if they could get us in. The earliest we could even get an estimate of damages was on the following Tuesday with no guarantee that they could get the parts. So my son called Summit Racing and found the radiator. After getting towed to the shop and taken to our hotel, my son started calling mobile mechanics. He called 3 or 4 before connecting with Josh. Josh was so understanding and said sure he could do it. Towed car to his place he quickly got the old one out and new one in. He then drove my son to purchase the fluid and a new battery. Got that all taken care of and for less than the shop would have charged. We were on our way by 3 on Sunday afternoon. On a 1-10 scale, Josh is a 10++++. Josh did an excellent job getting my car back on the road after I my alternator failed. He was able to make all of the repairs from my driveway, saving me from another costly tow. His quote was very reasonable and he was both professional and friendly. This guy is legit! I was so relieved that he was available on a Sunday. Josh got to the bottom of what was going on with my car, was friendly, straight forward and honest. On top of that, he was very accommodating and was ok with coming to me when I didn t feel like it was safe to drive my car. I highly recommend Josh. I would/will use his services again if I need to.

Josh was amazing!!! I found him while googling mobile mechanics.He showed up on time the next day and had the issue resolved immediately. I have a custom trike that no one wanted to work on. The fuel pump locked up and the trike wouldn t start. He took this thing apart in minutes and had the fuel pump replaced in an hour. I highly recommend Josh for any of the work you need sone on your vehicles. He could build you a vehicle from the ground up if you wanted him to. This guy is completely a ripoff. He was an hour late and charged us 160 to come out and for diagnostic for nothing! He didn t know what was wrong with our car and told us he would get back to us. I had to reach out to see if he researched like he said he would and still he didn t tell us much. A waste of money and a waste of time. He doesn t know much but just basic things. I wouldn t recommend him, better off with other mechanics. Very inexperienced and a waste of money!!!

Josh was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond what anyone could ever expect. He singlehandedly turned our scary and stressful accident into an easily managed situation.I was driving in the middle of a snow storm, traveling with my wife and 4 children, when the snow chains on our truck broke and cut the brake lines! Luckily we were driving up a mountain at that exact moment, so I was able to slow down and pull to the shoulder. We didn't really know what to do, but started making calls to get towed and find a repair shop.When we contacted Josh, he was very friendly and helpful and we knew right away that we wanted to go with him. For obvious reasons, he wasn't able to work on our truck on the side of the freeway in the middle of a snow storm, but he quite graciously offered to drive my wife and children to his shop while i waited with the truck for a tow. I ended up waiting 5 hours for a tow! His act of kindness meant so much to me, since it allowed my family to be safe and warm.It was already night time by the time I got my truck to his shop, but Josh and his team were able to make quick repairs and had my brakes working again by the very next day.I highly recommend Josh to anyone and everyone that needs any work done on their vehicle!Service: Brakes

VERY UNPROFFESSIONAL. He fixed my hydro boost leak but my brakes still felt weird after and kept making excuses why he couldn t fix them again. Told me he bled my brakes but I went to another mechanic shop and was told the lines were STILL black and my hydro boost still leaking. I messaged Josh multiple times but he ignored all of my messages to get a refund or fulfill his warranty. He also fixed my oil gasket leakage but in the same diagnostic my oil is still leaking. I paid him 2k at this point with NO money back or warranty fulfilled. VERY dangerous to not fix someone s brakes properly. At one point my brakes gave out after he said he fixed them. NEVER go to him if you want your car actually fixed. You would think he would do good work to keep a customer around but doesn t know good business practice. He charged me 200 dollars to sit inside the vehicle with the computer connected to see 2 things and give me the wrong diagnosis, telling me it was the fuel pump and it was a computer problem.

We found Josh about 2/12 years ago. We saw him at a gas station with a car on a trailer. We were new to the area and just by chance we were looking for a good mechanic. Happens that Josh was a mobile mechanic. Even better because our car was in our driveway. He came out on time, when he said he d be there. He took our Durango back to his place. Very convenient especially we didn t have to wait for a tow truck.He diagnosed our car and gave us a price. Which was mind you, VERY FAIR! He completed the job in a day or two and our care was ready. He did a smashing job and it s been two and a half years and we haven t had one problem with our transmission. I have referred people to him and they all day the same thing. He is professional and Honest. You won t find a better mechanic. If you have car problems. Josh is your man!!!Service: Transmission

On point, very reliable. Had both front and rear brake pads replaced and installed today. The convenience of having a mobile mechanic come to your house it awesome, being able to watch and learn is a bonus. He was nice and came out quickly but he did not make sure the job was done right, he was here maybe 10 minutes did not make sure the car worked. We asked him if he could come back out and he ignored us. Would not recommend a mechanic that doesn't guarantee his work or make sure the job is done correctly before leaving.

So my truck broke down just outside of Reno pulling my camper. He left his house at like 10 o'clock at night and was with me until 2 a.m. getting us taken care of. He also pulled some strings to get my truck into the dealership stat on the following Monday morning. Had some brake issues late at night. Josh could not come that night but he came the next morning and fixed us up and had us back in the road safe. I appreciate his logical approach to diagnosis and his willingness to drive out to the pull out we were stuck at. A good guy. Fair and honest.

Had a dead battery today. Unfortunately, my battery is located behind my drivers side front tire so the tire has to be removed. I called Josh and he was so professional. He was here in less than 2 hours with the new battery. Got the job done quickly and even offered to check out a car before buying because I had mentioned I was looking for something bigger. Joshua was very flexible with scheduling and was on time for our appointment. He drove out and got my dead car running within 45 min. Very professional and educated young man. He explains things very well and helped me learn a few things about my car. His pricing was more than fair and straight forward (fixed ONLY what was needed, didnt try to "upsell" or fix things to move the price up). I highly recommend using his services. My alternator went out a couple of days ago. Back and forth to ORielys. Trying to figure out what the problem was, why it wasn t charging. Was ready to give up and low a behold we see Josh at a local store. We had lost touch with him about a year ago when we moved. He had done our transmission two and half years ago. Today I needed the alternator fixed. Josh came right our diagnosed the problem and saved me hundreds of dollars. O Rileys told me I needed a new computer. Wasn t the case at all. Josh found and fixed within minutes. Again. He saved hundreds of dollars. Good honest mechanics whether mobile or not. Josh is the real deal. Honest fair and reliable and good.
