Folbeck is top notch. Over the past 2 years they have done mods and repairs for Toyota that other shops could not or would not handle.

Hands down the best shop I have ever visited. RJ, Donny and the rest of the crew have taken care of my 4runner on multiple occasions, and always done stellar work at reasonable cost/fast turnaround. For a 20 year old car, they ve made it feel new again. Thanks fellas, enjoy the PBR!

These guys rock. I was in town for the weekend when I had a radiator hose blow out in front of their store on a Friday. They stopped what they were doing and fixed me up with a quickness, thus alleviating me from being stranded and missing a weekend of Hot August Nights events. I could not recommend this shop enough

These guys are awesome! Busted my rear shocks on the Rubicon - 2600 miles from home!!! Folbeck saved the day. I called a few shops in the area as I headed East and the guys at Folbeck actually took the time to check their stock and found a set for my Jeep!!! Saved my trip home! Very grateful! Highly recommend Folbeck for anyone in the Reno area and worth the trip to work with these professionals if you are heading to or from the Rubicon!!!

I was here at the beginning of June. It was my first time. I had just called to complain about a noise and inquire when they had time to look at it. When I described the noise, he told me to come in immediately to have someone there listen. I went in the next morning at opening time, someone jumped right in my car to drive around, they diagnosed the problem within twenty minutes! And this place was busy, phone ringing, people coming in the front door. But Donny seemed very concerned about my safety out there on the road. Because whatever was wrong with my car was dangerous, he somehow worked me into the schedule. The noise is gone, my car works great! I will definitely be coming here for my next car thing. This is a team of experts.

I was in a rush to leave on a trip and couldn't find a shop in Reno/Sparks that would align my truck due to aftermarket suspension. Donny squeezed me in immediately and they did a great job on my truck! I really appreciated their professionalism and willingness to help me out of a bind. I will be using them again in the future!

This was such a bummer because we got our suspension installed here after being referred by a friend. After driving the truck for a month we felt it was too rough and something was odd about it. We ended up figuring out that they installed the sway bars wrong.. We fixed it ourselves after talking with experts at Thuren Fabrication. Honestly we did not go back to this place to even tell them the issue. We are extremely busy. We chose this place because we wanted our money to go to local business. I wish they would double check the work because this could have honestly been just one employee who messed up. Anyway it wasn t cheap to have them install it and we aren t looking for a refund we just want them to be aware and others as well. If your suspension seems wrong get a second opinion because it might be.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Donny at Folbeck was incredible. We called around multiple shops to get work done on our van. Immediately I knew that Folbeck was going to be our most genuine and helpful mechanic. Which is hard to find nowadays. We had a few mishaps with the installation that we're on my behalf, Donny was more than understanding and was willing to work with me to problem solve. My experience with the entire team at Folbeck was friendly, and I felt like I was truly getting the most reliable work done on my vehicle. I couldn't recommend Folbeck anymore.

Got my old Jeep back on the road in no-time flat. They were honest, straightforward, and even humorous when it came to the catastrophic failure I left them with. I appreciate that in a mechanic. I will return for all additional Jeep work in the future and steer all my friends in their direction.

Brought my Titan here and got new gears done these guys do great work. A couple months after one of the cv axels went out and Donnie was able to get it all handled under warranty I was in and out in less than an hour. Go see Donny he s the man. Thanks guys! I sold myTruck today but I llBe back with the next!!!

Best 4x4 shop in Reno/ Sparks area hands down. Donnie and the crew at Folbeck ROCK. I have had quite a bit of work done on my SUV to get it dialed in to ready ready for offroading. Donnie and team at Folbeck have done a super job on everything. I love my giant SUV, and Folbeck is the team to keep it running beautifully.

I have been doing business with Jim for about 15 years. He has always had my best interest at heart and has given me a square deal on all mine and my children's vehicles.In that time I can only say I had one issue....and in the matter of fair reporting I am going to share it...One time, one of the mechanics didn't reset the clock on my Jeep Grand Cherokee...So you decide 15 years, 8 vehicles ranging in age from 1989-2007 with 20,000 to 200,00 mi on them, them being my only mechanic so 10+ visits a years and the worst experience is a clock setting.Doesn't get any better than this

It could be said that I have more cars than what is practical, my philosophy is if you have enough pieces of junk sitting around, something will always start.That gives me the opportunity to be in need of a knowledgeable, fair mechanic. One that I could trust. Folbeck's is just that.I actually look forward to dealing with the guys there. They've talked me out of stupid ideas that saved me big dollars. They once paid for a tow after they worked on my car, thinking something had went wrong with their service, (I did, too). Turned out it was a non-related part, but they still paid for the tow even when I offered to reimburse them. They have a great sense of humor, and can not only take 'it' but give 'it' back with great expertise. Engage in this at your own peril. They actually had the audacity to suggest my ratty 1973 International pickup is not nearly the premier ICON of the American automobile industry I believe it to be. That hurt a little.I've had the simple, (brake pads), to the complex, (they installed a 1975 chevy disk brake assembly on my 1973 International truck axle), and things in between. I have the old truck, a 1988 YJ, an aged 2005 Pilot, and newer, nicer cars for my wife and kids. Their work is flawless. I believe they do not lie. They've never 'marketed' additional work for me. Their estimates have always been sound. (Well, once the bill came in much less than the estimate, but I was forgiving about that).I originally believed they might be a bit higher than you can get shopping around, but it was worth it knowing they would actually fix the problem. I now think they are very competitive even with the rip-off shops across town.If you're looking for a place to trust, I would highly recommend this place. In fact, I do recommend them, to many people who approach me because they figure from the looks of what I like to drive around, I 'must' know a good mechanic. Turns out, I do.

These guys know they're stuff. Quality service that's accompanied with knowledgeable staff who takes the time to explain in relatable terms. They also do alignments on lifted vehicles which was my main reason for going to them. Highly recommended.

I have an 03' Tahoe, they installed a 6" Rough Country lift on it and replaced some worn out steering components and repaired my transfer case along the way. They had my Tahoe for 2 days and were constantly calling me to keep me updated . The customer service is top notch as well as the workmanship. I waited a little bit to write a review because i wanted to see how everything turned out and functioned. #1 in my book thanks Jim!!!

these guys rock! i went in to get a lift kit and to get my 2001 WJ checked out after i bought it. went in and said check it all out ball joins ext cuz i want to lift it right away. they called and told me its done getting checked out and told me the brakes needed to be done in the rear and they did it. great price and did tell me other things were bad when they werent. so you can trust them which is huge to me. now its all lifted and working really good. i will be going to them forever now.

I was harvested by RJ. charged for NEW only to find my parts were remanufactured. Steering rack was leaking so him, they told me i needed a new one yet still did an alignment then charged me another alignment 2 weeks later. Then didn't install bushings properly. Harvested.. Avoid these consumer terrorists with their rhetoric and keyboard weaponry.
