My son had a leak coming from his transmission and was recommended to come here to have it looked at . Mind you his truck is an older model 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 so of course we were thinking the worst like he needed a new transmission. We dropped it off night before and next morning James called my son, told him exactly what was wrong and what he was gonna do to fix it .Thank god it wasn't a whole new Transmission . They followed through got the parts and fixed everything perfectly and quickly . They also did a full check to make sure nothing else was wrong . Price was very reasonable so Long story short highly recommend Elson's Transmissions for repairs or any other Transmission needs . Super happy we brought his truck here .

Just had a transmission rebuilt at Elson, so far I could not be happier! James, who I believe is the owner, is friendly and easy to deal with. My transmission was rebuilt in less than 3 days. Highly recommended.

I was referred to Elson's by Dynamic Diesel, another great place. I was told by another shop in town that I needed a new transmission on my 2004 Ford Ranger. Elson's confirmed I needed a new clutch!!! Great work done in a timely manner for a reasonable price. I'm now referring all my friends and family there for their transmission work :) Don't be fooled by the address on Rock Blvd, you have to enter the complex east bound on Greg St at Rock Blvd intersection.

Took my 2500HD to Elson's Transmission due to some intermittent Shift Inhibited messages and some strange behavior when in Park.Elson's looked it over and determined that they did not have the necessary equipment to do further work on the Allison Transmission and gave me a referral to another shop that could work on the transmission.When I picked the vehicle up and asked what was owed for the Diagnostics I was told there was no charge since they were unable to fix the problem, who does that anymore?Since they would not take payment I can only repay them with this review, I can, without hesitation, recommend Elson's to anyone needing transmission service. Can't go wrong with Elsons. They are the only transmission service I allow to work on my cars and have been for the past 30 years (from 72 Chevelle to 2014 Fusion). They have 12 month warranty on their service -- same as any good business (personally don't know of any auto repair with unlimited, forever service). Everyone I have sent to them has been pleased with their service and rates.

A shop you can trust to take care of and repair what you need and get you back on the road . I have had all my transmision work done there for over thirty years. Go there and you will be glad you did.

Unfortunately they are not able to do transmission flush/ filter changes on a 2009 Nissan Altima 2.5 S so I couldn't rate them on service but they had a cute dog
