I'm so thankful for the referral from Integrity automotive to have an alignment done at Ayers. Ed, Jeff & their team were friendly, helpful, professional & honest!Jeff advised me of some repairs that needed to be done, and he quoted me quickly & fairly. I completely recommend Ayers to anyone! They are professional, fast and do top quality work! My daughter hit a curb and needed major front end component replacements and frame alignment; they completed the work in 1 day! Kudos to Chris and his staff! I will be back!

Trustworthy shop in Reno/Sparks. I ve asked them to do quite a few alignments on different vehicles like tundra, Tacoma, 4Runner and a CHR and most recently a steering rack swap on my 2016 Tundra and they ve done a fantastic job each time. I really appreciate their communication and patience with me! Don t hesitate to talk to Ed, Jeff or any of the guys if you need some work done. Will be back.

Great place to take your car. I have been here 5 or 6 times now with 2 cars having services done. I have gotten an alignment, 2 brake fluid flushes, and muffler work performed in the last 6 or 7 years. These people are honest and do super work. Their pricing is reasonable. Thanks, Ayres !

These guys are pretty awesome. Very knowledgeable, you can tell in the way they speak. They fixed some odd ball stuff for me, including a horrible exhaust job that Nevada muffler did. Every single weld was leaking, so Chris was able to fix that up for me. I was recommended here, and it will be my go-too from now on. Thanks Chris (owner).

First off let me say I have tried several times in the last two months to talk to the owner of this shop I have left several messages and I am always told he will call me tomorrow. I dropped my jeep off with them and left town on vacation.i got a call from them a few days later saying my track bar was bad and needed replaced. They said the jam nut had come loose and only a few threads were in the joint end thus the female end was ovaled and the threads were bad. They ordered me a new one for about $650 and installed it. When I picked up my jeep I gave the mechanic a $50 tip and he gave me my old track bar back. The old one only had about 500 miles on it. A few days later I looked at my old part and there's nothing wrong with it the threads are perfect and the joint end is perfectly round there is a dirt mark on the exposed threads so it is easy to see how far in it was threaded, not just a few like they told me it was in 15 threads! Overall my bill was around $1200 plus a $50 tip. I grew up in a wrecking yard been twisting wrenches my whole life. I guess they thought I wouldn't know any better.... anybody interested in seeing my pics if you can message me through Google i would be happy to share them.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

My husband spent a lot of money just for them to misdiagnose and supposedly repair the problem with our Jeep. Fortunately, DC Customs in Ukiah knew the problem and now the Jeep runs great. DC Customs is the place to go... affordable and very smart group of people who value their customers and won't rip them off like this place did!

The quality of service and thoroughness are two strong points of Ayres Muffler Brake & Alignment. The staff were attentive, always answered questions quick, and went above and beyond their call of duty as mechanics.The pricing is reasonable on the labor side, but has a lot of upcharge built into the parts. For example, I needed to Monroe quick struts for my chevy cruze. The cost on rock auto for parts MONROE 272626 and 272627 was $102.79 for each strut. Ayres charged $288.12 for each strut. It's common practice in the industry, but the margin/ upcharge seems a hit high. Even with shipping, there was over $300 of profit margin built into my front two struts just for the cost of the parts.I did receive a call from a Washington State phone number asking me to do a survey for my recent visit at Ayres Muffler. I was not aware my phone number was going to be shared with their affiliates.Overall I think I overpaid a bit, but received great service in return. Might consider YouTube videos for some future repairs, but expect to visit Ayres again and would recommend them.

What honest and professional people run this place. Took my Subaru in for an alignment. They carefully looked at it and took it out for a road test. They advised me that everything looked good and that I should just have my tires balanced and rotated instead. Saved me quite a few dollars, and it did the trick.

Chris and team were extremely accommodating and honest. I was driving through and needed an emergency brake job while on the road. They were able to get me in and take care of it so I could continue my trip with minimal delay. So glad I stumbled across their shop. Thank you

TTotally dedicated to my satisfaction and safety. Rob, John and Chris installed a rear anti-sway bar on my Class A motorhome and what a great job they did. Their knowledge and experience made for a clean install, and wonderful results with my RV.Clean, woman-friendly shop and waiting area. Highly recommend.

I started taking my vehicles to Ayers for wheel alignments a couple years ago and have been very satisfied with their work. They did a great job on my Mazda5 and Toyota Sienna wheelchair modified van. The last time I took the Sienna to them because I misaligned the wheels by driving up a curb. The steering wheel was still off center a bit after they aligned it, so I called and brought it back several weeks later. They re-aligned it and centered the steering wheel to my satisfaction without charge. I highly recommend Ayers and will continue taking my vehicles to them. They stand behind their work and I think their prices are a bargain for the level of service they provide. Five stars all the way.Service: Wheel alignment

This is the 3rd time I have used this company. Every time, These guys are the same! Awesome. Chris is the man, knows his stuff and has the mechanics to back him up. Mike you are awesome and very thorough. Couldn't ask for a better man to work on my OLD 99 Toyota 4 Runner. I bought this piece knowing it needed a lot of work. After spending about 5 to 6 k at Ayres, not only do I feel safe driving, but it no longer is a piece. Honest, on budget, and on time. Squeezed my truck in for alignment on a busy day. Pricing was very reasonable. Professional and friendly service writers at the front, clean and orderly shop in the back. Staff is largely the same as when I came in here about a year ago- they obviously take care of their employees. The customer experience is leaps and bounds superior to the big corporate shops I used to manage- just don t expect big screen TV s and a playground in their waiting room. I wouldn t hesitate to send my wife in here by herself, and wouldn t worry about them trying to rip her off.Service: Wheel alignment

Fantastic Service! Super honest! Reasonable price!This is my second time I brought my vehicles.First time was my box truck - had steering issues and brought in for alignment. They found that the issues were due to the bubbles in tires. Because it s not an alignment issue, they refused to do alignment until tires are changed. I was really impressed with their honesty.Second time, I brought my bimmer for a rear brake change. They were able to do it so quickly and also fixed the jammed sliding pin issue.Very happy with their service and honesty. I ll continue using them and will recommend to anyone in need of brake/alignment services.

We own a '92 Dodge diesel D250 pickup. The crossmember support somehow broke. After we had the crossmember fixed in WA State the truck shimmied over 50mph and when turning, the tires were actually rubbing on the stabilizer bar! We were told it needed alignment. While still in WA we took it to two alignment shops, replaced steering gear assembly twice (first one was warrantee replacement) and still had the same problem. We left that state! Thankfully arriving in Reno, NV Ayres was recommended! It took them hours of research checking all the obvious problems, but finally found the problem. The repair shop that did the crossmember repair had reinstalled the steering center-link backwards. Ayres found the error, reinstalled it properly, aligned the truck and we haven't had a problem since. We were so happy with their work we had them do a few other maintenance items as well. All this was done in April 2022 and as of today (1/2023) we've had zero problems.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment, Brakes

I came in on 5/10/22 and unfortunately they do not do muffler work anymore. The were very cordial and gave me suggestions of other places to take my car. They do brakes,wheel alignment and other services. I would all before going in to make sure they can help you.I'll try them for other work in the future and write a new review.

This place of business is one of a kind in customer service.Very thorough in everything they do. The communication that these gentlemen provide is top notch. I was referred by another business, and now I know why. They worked on my schedule as well as going out of there way to accommodate me with a very stressful situation; I have a machine for starting the vehicle that would not work for them. THANK YOU Chris and the mechanic Mike for your outstanding service. They even reduced my cost of estimate due to not having to do something they thought they might. One last thing, my vehicle was a 99 4 Runner with lots of rust on bolts. They had to do a lot of extra labor to replace ball joint, rear axle seal and steering assembly. Thanks guys for putting up with me.

Excellent alignment and tire shop, especially for modified/not-stock cars and trucks. They have a lot of experience with off-road/lifted trucks, as well as sports/track cars that need more than a factory standard alignment. I bring all my cars to these guys for any alignment, tire/wheel, brake work. Definitely recommend, especially for your 4x4, Jeep, Toyota, etc.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Brakes

These guys did a great job on my wife's Tahoe. I received great customer service right away. The lady who answered the phone was very helpful and full of knowledge she got me scheduled right awayThe mechanics were awesome and the front end of the Tahoe never rode this good before. No more pulling to the right and no more clicking when she turns the wheel sharp. The price was fair and they even did a couple more adjustments free for me. I highly recommend this company and I'm very happy that I found them. Oh yah they have a really cool dog you can play with while you're there

It was a great RV repair experience, and to finding them by word of mouth. They did an Awesome job on my 2007 Class "C" front end repair, and all the brakes. The price, quality of the work and using quality parts made it a win, win and I will be back again. Thanks again.

They understand performance cars. They did a custom alignment for my track car.They don't have to go "by the book" because they know what I need. I also give them all my huge tire and wheel mounting and balance work.Good "car" guys to work with.

We were on a road trip and in a bind with our brand new vehicle. This team immediately took us in, completed a repair (late on a Friday) and refused to charge us insisting that we enjoy the rest of our trip. I don t know if I ve ever been so shocked and thankful. This place is incredible!! The team is also pretty awesome and great to chat with.

I'm very meticulous on where I'm bringing our cars for repair. I'm always giving long hours of search, checking reviews, asking my colleagues if the service is good or not for shops. I found Ayres online and read the reviews. It's the great reviews that lead me to bring my 2011 Nissan for tire installation and alignment. Chris was friendly; when he said he will call you for updates and when you can pick up the car, he will definitely do it.In the middle of alignment process, the guy who was doing it found something that needs to fix. He explained to me the issue and as a woman who does not know about cars and repairs, he has patience enough to explain what's going on and even drew what the issue was for further explanation hehe. They are honest.When I felt the car was moving to the left few weeks after they did the alignment, they fixed it for me without questions. They will fix your car until you are really satisfied.I will definitely bring my cars here for repair.Happy customer :)

I was in town to install a lift kit at a family members house. We ran into a problem trying to remove the spring tension from the strut. We called Ayres to see if they could help. They were able to take it same day and get it done quickly. The owner was super helpful and really took care of me. I didn't think we would be able to finish my project within the time I was in town and the lift wouldn't happen. They saved the day! Thank you guys!
