This is a good car wash BUT be prepared to wait an extended period of time to use the vacuums! There is a time limit, however, customers are very inconsiderate and stay in the limited spots to completely detail their cars from top to bottom. The employees are to busy to enforce the time limit and they shouldn't have to!. I finally got to the vacuums and was done in about 6 minutes. This happens every time we go there. Not just once.

This shop had 2 lanes open for oil changes. I sat in one line for an hour, while the other lane pushed through 6 cars. Needless to say, the guy with the neck length bleach blonde hair was struggling with an oil change. Instead of zippering the line though, we just let one line sit over an hour. I have never heard of an oil change taking over an hour. But, to add insult, as soon as I pulled off, the truck was finished and pulled out. Nice. Thanks for wasting my time.

Only place I take my vehicles to get an oil change and quick wash when I m in Reno! Family wonder and locally operated which is 10x better!! Great business, great people! Thank you Jimmys!!

UPDATE 4/13/2023: Towels and vacuums have been back in service. This car wash certainly beats Sierra Car Wash. My car comes out cleaner right out of the wash, and all I have to do is do a quick wipe down and I m good to go. I was considering signing up for their subscription, but they require my car have this hideous sticker placed on the windshield. I wish they could just pull up a VIN instead.UPDATE 11/27/2022: Car wash still open and accepting payments without warning up front that vacuums have already been taken down and towels have stopped being replenished well before actual closing. One of the main reasons I always go to this place vs Sierra Car Wash down the street is because of the convenience of having towels. I ended up using my own towels that I happened to have, but have witnessed countless of other customers and cars pull into the vacuum area only to leave disappointed. I can t say enough how psyched I am with how my truck came out! I stopped for a car wash and ended up getting a spray wipe as well. This is one of those things that s too good to be true but it was true! My truck legit looks better than when I got it from the dealership!! Thank you guys!!

Just got one of the best car washes I've had in a long time from a drive-thru car wash. Returning from a 10 day road trip, My car was covered with bugs and grime. The attendant actually stopped the wash for a few seconds to scrub the bumpers and windshield. My car was very clean at the end.

This place is great! They were quick and had great customer service. Plus the best prices in town and you get a free car wash. Friendly service! They don't do the work on your vehicle that they say they do. I got my car serviced, left the next day on a trip. Suddenly my check engine light comes on, my coolant is empty. I had to buy coolant. On the same day I tried to wash my windshield, my windshield washer fluid is empty. I guess you have to watch all the time.

I never thought it was necessary to have a car wash membership, but if you go to Jimmy's it absolutely is and so worth it! Luke and the crew here do a fabulous job and they have great customer service! Thank you so much!!!! My fiance will be very happy with his birthday present and hopefully get one for me!

The car wash attendant that actually does the guiding in and car wash is awesome! Attentive all the time and quick..I see him all the time and hes such a hard worker! today is June 21st at 3:20pm... I really appreciate the service here.. every one is always nice thanks Guys!

We took both our cars, at different times. Our first car took (8:50 am sunday) at least 30 minutes to get into the dock, but the second (1:15pm ) took 5 minutes into the dock. They seemed pretty short staff, so those staff worked hard.I do like that the car wash and vacuums were available, and they give glass cleaner, freshener , and dashboard cleaner. However, the provided towels were all dirty

These guys were amazing and super patient with me. I have a new car and was confused about some price differences, I was sooooo tired and they kept their composure and patience with me while explaining everything, I have a weird European car. They never got frustrated with me when I was confused and feeling frustrated. customer for life now, a happy customer, and to boot, its all family owned

I checked reviews and chose Jimmy s for my oil change. I have a 2018 Kia Stinger. I have had my oil changed at Jiffy Lube, and there was no problem. Jimmy s said my car was too new, and they didn t stock my oil type. Another employee said it was because my car has a turbo. Whatever the reason, be sure to check with Jimmy s before you drive out there - they may not carry your car s type oil.

I've never had any auto work done here, just the car wash. And as fir that, i get great service at the car wash, and attentive attendants who always make sure to use the brush before sending the car through the wash tunnel.

What a great team at Jimmy's. We were needing immediate help Sunday afternoon July 24th after another oil shop had left us with an oil leak and very low on oil which we discovered after arriving in Truckee for the weekend. Marcos and Paul immediately helped us, resolved the issue and got us quickly on our way. They were just the best. I highly recommend them.Service: Oil change

Pulled right up and was immediately greeted and had my oil changed. I also received a complimentary car wash along with my oil change. Both services made all the difference! Not to mention the wonderful gentlemen who were kind, communicative, quick and efficient. You can tell they really love what they do there! I came to this location (being new in town) based on their reviews and I m so glad I came here. My husband is the one who usually does all of our vehicle maintenance but with his schedule he hasn t had the time, and the fact that he was impressed with their work speaks volumes! You guys have our business for life

I was made to switch bays because of a problem and another person was here before me. That s fine because I was made to believe I would be the next car serviced as I should have been. But no, the problem in front of me was still a problem when the same man working let another man go in front of me in the bay I was originally in. This was rude to say the least and absolutely wrong. This wasn t my first time here but it will definitely be my last. If you want to treat one customer fairly then treat all fairly.

This place was great; the customer service was outstanding, the staff were all friendly, the speed of the crew was phenomenal, and the prices were exceptional. We were only there for about 20 minutes including the included FREE car wash after the oil change. Great job guys keep up the great work. Audit-wise you would definitely receive from me a 99% just because in an audit they always want everyone to improve more and more. In the audit world that's 110%. Thank you guys.

Great, quick, friendly service. The staff seem upbeat and enjoy their jobs. It is less expensive than other places I have been to plus they do a free car wash. Also, they DON'T try to sell you a bunch of filters, new battery, fluids, and other things you don't need.

I ve been using this location for oil changes for years. They always do an amazing and quick job with great employees. Today I decided to sneak into the vacuums without paying for a car wash (whoops haha) and then got a dose of instant karma when I locked my keys, phone and purse in the car. Thankfully the owner happened to be out there and was SO gracious and kind, and had an employee (who happened to be her son) get my keys out for me. Thank god for kind people, especially these days!!! 12/10 would recommend, I drive 45 minutes into town to get my oil changed here because of their reliability and now great kindness.Service: Oil change

I paid for a $15. wash that wasn't worth 2 bucks. There was all sorts of dirt left all over the vehicle and wheels. Not only did they not wash the vehicle properly, you are left to dry your own vehicle. A wash AND dry can be found at numerous Reno car washes for less than 15 bucks. In review, what little they do, they don't do right and they overcharge for it.
