Took some friends advice and took my car for service today. I am glad I did. They are the absolute best Dropped my car off & they called me let me know the diagnosis and the price which was very reasonable . and had the car ready when I came to pick it up . I highly recommend them

Devine Automotive saved me $800 on brakes from what one of the franchise tire shops quoted my wife for a brake job on her SUV. Turns out we didn t need everything replaced that the tire shop told my wife we needed to replace. My brakes are working great and I am very thankful I got the work done at Devine and avoided getting ripped off.

They couldn't fix my problem, because it was out of their expertice so they didn't even charge me for the diagnostic work, and gave me a recommendation on where to go.

I was delighted with Devine Automotive LLC, they diagnosed the problem and HELPED me with the issue till I make it to the dealer. So thankful -- I am appreciative of their kindness. Will definitely be back for other minor issues with my car! Highly recommend! Gisela

Ok people, this is an exceptional local car repair business!!!...I've been remiss in posting a review here for some time now....we are fourth generation local Nevadans and I must say without hesitation that Tad and Trevor are exceptional professional people as are their technicians!!! I'm not saying that the valley doesn't offer acceptable choices but this business is tops!!! It is always a pleasure and extremely enjoyable to visit with these guys and their professional technicians...work is always performed to expectations and at competitive prices!! Stop searching and give Devine Automotive a shot you will not be disappointed!!!

By far the best auto shop in town. I've been to many to service our work vehicles and as far as more complicated jobs these guys are the way to go. VERY VERY HONEST they also are very fairly priced. Very quick as well. They were able to fix our cracked radiator with a new one and get us back on the road to serve the people of Reno and Sparks. Thank you again! We appreciate what you did more then you know.

I have been taking my 20 year old Chevy Tahoe to Tad for the last 4 years he and his mechanics do fantastic work you definitely get quality repair jobs coming here and the prices are extremely fair. Devine Automotive is a small locally owned business and the kind of business we Reno natives need to support in our hometown.

I find them to be the most honest and dependable repair shop that I have been to in Reno. They always seem to beat the competitors prices. They work on my Truck and my wife's BMW. I took both my vehicles in for an oil change. I had appointments in both cases and service was quick and reasonably priced. The location is easy to get to from anywhere in Reno and the folks working there are friendly.

Another great job from Devine! My Taurus had a knock in the front left wheel area. Devine diagnosed it and repaired the ball joints and control arms and returned the vehicle the same day even earlier and cheaper than expected. It drives like new! Tadd and Trevor have always been honest, professional, reasonably priced, and trustworthy for over a decade now. Given the choice we don't go anywhere else.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I went in to get an estimate for a 90K mile checkup on my 2015 Hyundai Tucson. Hyundai wanted $1600. Devine said around $250. With other stuff i needed, i was out of there for $350! I love this place. Then...they diagnosed a strange sound for me at no charge a couple months later. I've used these guys for several of our cars over the past ten years. A Land Cruiser, a Honda Element, a Lexus, a Honda Odyssey,... they even did a pre-purchase inspection on an old Ford truck and saved me from buying what could have been a real headache. They're extraordinarily nice people and they've always treated me exceptionally fairly. Their shop is kept clean and lobby comfortable -- and to be honest-- at this point they almost feel like family.

My experience with Divine automotive was outstanding! The entire staff is very professional and knowledgeable. The issue i was having with my truck was quickly and accurately accessed and then explained to me in a way that was simple to understand. To top it off i was undercharged for the repair. Also, 2 years ago my dad was visiting from cali and needed a prompt replacement of radiator and hoses. He was very happy to be taken care of right away and even happier to have been charged a more than fair rate for the expertise and handling. The waiting area is large, clean, and comfortable if you have to wait like i did. Thank you for the service you provide Tadd, i will be respectfully returning for future services!

I have had positive experiences at Devine, but the most recent one was frustrating enough to be taking my business elsewhere from this point. I get my oil changed with them about every 3,000-4,000 miles. Last change/fluid check was just under two months/fewer than 3,000 miles ago.Thanksgiving day: engine started running hot driving up to S. Tahoe. I pulled over/popped hood/blasted heater to keep the temperature in normal range until I could get home. Checked levels once everything was cold - absolutely no coolant whatsoever in the radiator or reservoir. No answer or holiday hour recording when I called next morning. Left a voicemail with my number letting them know what had happened and to see when I could get it in soonest. In the meantime, called another mechanic for advice and refilled the cooling system myself to get it back to Reno.Monday: No return call, so I called again mid-morning. Explained that I wasn't due for next service for over 1,000 more miles. "Huh, might be a leak somewhere." Asked if I put coolant in it, wanted no other details. Couldn't get me in for three days. No apologies, no concern. I was getting pretty frustrated at this point, but decided to hear them out at the appointment since I'd been happy with their work in the past.Wednesday morning: Still no concern about a regular customer being stuck on the side of the road on Thanksgiving with a dry radiator and no service for five days. Found a leak in the hose that was apparently in an inconspicuous place. I've not noticed these signs and had been taking it in for servicing regularly, so this was a surprise. They repaired the hose for $75 and sent me on my way.Like I said, I've been super happy with their work previous to being stranded high and dry (literally) on the side of the road by myself on a major holiday. This could have caused major damage to the engine, and it's an older Subaru, so the head gaskets need TLC. I am in nursing school and definitely cannot afford that disaster right now. In fact, I pay for regular servicing exactly for that reason. The coolant wasn't topped up last time, but I figured that they are the experts, so I didn't question it. Lesson learned to carry extra radiator fluid with me and a reminder to regularly check my own levels between services. Even if this wasn't an issue that was present at the last service, the customer service and totally nonchalant approach was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. Location is awesome for us living in Mira Loma. Engine light had come on and I was getting cylinder misfire errors on the read out tool. Switching spark plugs in this model of car was not something I could do myself and was desperate to not feel like my car was going to die at a light with it's rough idling.Had to convince my family to ditch the dealer after so many times the Enclave would leave after a fix only to have another issue arise. Quick service and while car repairs always feel pricey I am very happy to have a vehicle driving much better again.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical

Tadd and Trevor are first rate, honest and fair.If they send you out to a specialist, they, too, are the same. Auto repairs are stressful, they cushion the blow in a calm and understanding manner.Thanks Tadd!.................Can't do a separate review, but came here for a simple oil change and inspection on my Wrangler.More thorough and professional than the "quick guys". Surprisingly, they were quicker, with appt. My piece of mind escalated, thanks again!!!

Honest, Fair Pricing,Skilled Mechanics. It's a pleasure to offer a plus review of this business.I have no proof of this but my sense of these owners is that they consciously decided to design a business based on what's fair: not one based on maximizing profit or upselling. This is old school good business at its best. It's no frills, get the job done right. They fix what's really needed to get fixed. In several cases with us, all that was needed was something simple. Good on yah Devine. Thank you. I trust these gentlemen. Our cars-Toyota Corolla and Ford Ranger.

This place is so honest! I am thankful to be able to go to a shop that doesn t tell you all your problems need fixing now or your car will break. Tad prioritized my issues and helped me for a great price. You can absolutely trust the guys at Devine. They have always done me right. They are thorough and honest which can be hard to come by in today's world. I would absolutely recommend this mechanic. The only thing (I believe) they don't work on is diesel engines.

I have been working with Tadd and his company for about 3 years. I was referred to him by the previous owner of an antique truck I now have. Device Automotive is the first car repair place I have ever been happy with.I actually learned how to work on my own car because of the problems I've had in the past with mechanics. Devine Automotive has been a welcome change to that. They are easy to work with and even work with me on some things I do myself. It's created a situation where it's been easier to ask Tadd to take care of things for me because I know he's going to just do it without adding or padding the job. In this long run this actually has saved me money because I have been able to keep my cars longer.It's so nice to of actually found an honest mechanic.

Tad Devine is the only auto repair shop that I trust in Reno. I had my brakes changed at another shop and they were screwed up. Tad's guys fixed the problem at a lower price, under estimate and quickly. I will not go anywhere else to have my Lexus SUV worked on.

I always trusted Tadd Devine Automotive with my the maintenance of my vehicles. Of course they do all the simple do it yourself stuff, like oil changes and tire rotation, but they really shine when it comes to more advanced work and real problem solving (i.e. when the car dies periodically, but you can't identify the problem).The people there are honest and straightforward. If they feel they can fix your problem for a reasonable cost, they will. If not, they won't waste your time. It's that simple.

I've heard that they only charge you for what work needs to be done and don't rip ur arm and leg off for charges that other companies do n take. I'm definitely taking both my vehicles in to get the repairs and oil and all changes done. I was quoted a good price of parts n labor.

I was referred here by a friend and I will never use another mechanic again. I was quoted at hundreds of dollars less than the normal price of a similar fix to my car and it was done in an hour and a half. Great, affordable, quick service.

Devine Automotive is the first shop I have ever truly trusted. Being female, you know how it can go with those lying piece of...I mean less-than-honest shops. Thanks to Tadd and his folks at Devine, those less-than-honest shops didn't take me for close to $5k in last 10 months. That engine and cooling system I need for $4k (Sierra Car Care on California)? Nope, just a couple of radiator flushes. Those seized calipers requiring new calipers/rotors/pads for $650 (Les Schwab by Convention Center)? Nope. Just a wheel alignment. Thank you Tadd. Your integrity is invaluable.

We have been going to these guys for all our vehicles for more than 30 years. We appreciate their advice on what needs to be serviced immediately and what can wait. Their prices are very fair. Please note: we are people who keep our vehicles for 200,000 miles and 15+ years.
