No one likes to have to take their vehicle into a transmission shop. But knowing that Bob's Transmissions came highly recommended by a mechanic I completely trust, it made my trip to Bob's stress-free. After my replacement transmission arrived for my GMC pickup, Bob called to have me bring my pickup in the next day. 24 hours after bring it in, my pickup was repaired. My new transmission has a 3-year nationwide warranty with unlimited miles. Bob is a great guy and knows how to take care of a customer. I highly recommend this shop.

Had a transmission replaced on my 2007 Yukon Denali, Bob was by far the best price in town. Great service and workmanship!!! Highly recommend!!!!

Bob transmission is legit. I have taken all my vehicles to him. I will give an example of me pissing my money away. I had dodge do the work on my 2005 cummins truck after 2 transmissions and 1 rear end. I got pissed because it kept breaking. I took it to Bob, the transmission never broke again. He built me an amazing transmission that was solid. The dude is better than any transmission guy I have had. I have taken my 2015 jeep, my 2018 dodge durango rt awd. He is honest and does great work.

Highly recommend! I thought I was going to need a pressure solenoid replaced inside my transmission which is a common problem with my car. Bob scanned my car and figured out it was just a bad sensor causing my transmission to slip. I replaced the sensor myself, went back for him to clear the code. He did it for free. I will definitely be going back if I need a big job done.

I ve spent many years in the Las Vegas valley finding the best shops around. This is my transmission specialist.. Honest and knowledgeable. My truck was done before I expected. I ve turned wrenches throughout my life and the work that was done was quality and honesty beyond my expectation. Looking forward to doing business with them in the future.. Thank you Bob!

Bob's Transmissions is THE place to go for your auto repair needs! Transmission replaced in my truck in one day as well as nagging oil leak repaired. I had Bob replace my transmission on my 2007 Jeep Wrangler with a remanufactured transmission. He couldn't have been nicer. I asked a billion questions and he listened to my babbling without even an eye roll. Even learned he does more than transmissions. Took our company van to Bob to have the transmission rebuilt. Then turned around and took it back to Bob a week later to have it tuned up. While test driving it after tuning it up, Bob discovered the transmission wasn't shifting correctly. Bob immediately called me, explained he had to tear the transmission down again - and found the problem was a faulty new valve body from the factory he had just put in, and replaced it at no cost to Ecodry...Few mechanics that I am familiar would have acted this honorably given it cost Bob's Transmission money...That says all one needs to know about Bob and his service - honest, professional and they did all they could to get the van back to me as quickly as possible given they knew I use it every day for carpet cleaning jobs...RickOwner-Operator Ecodry Carpet Cleaning

So where do I begin? We bought an Impala from what I now believe is a less than reputable dealership that Had to know the car needed a new transmission, had an oil leak, and needed new brakes! (But that's a story for another time) The dealership was responsible enough however to provide a 30-day warranty.... Thank goodness! And lucky for us Bob accepts extended warranties!Bob was very open and honest with us regarding this Very expensive job right before the holidays. He was able to get the warranty company to pay a good portion of the job up front, but the rest was out of pocket. He strategically streamlined the repairs so he could do all of them at once rather than have to take the car apart multiple times thus saving us some labor costs! He also noticed our brakes were in horrific shape and could not see himself letting us drive away like that, so he added those to the repairs! All I know is that it is difficult to find a mechanic you can trust, but I truly believe Bob to be a fair, honorable and trustworthy mechanic! Thank you Bob! I will be sure to refer you to others who need a mechanic and to continue to use you for our future repairs!

Bob saved me a lot of money. As a woman, you always want a trustworthy mechanic. I was told by another auto shop, after a transmission flush, that my transmission would cost $500 to diagnosis and may require a rebuild/would have to be towed to a shop in north Vegas. I decided to go to Bob for a second opinion. Bob looked at my car for free and said he couldn't find an issue with the transmission. He's very honest! Thank you Bob!

Bob is an honest hard working man. I would trust his judgement with anything transmission related. He honors his warranty/guarantee so you can rest assured that you are in good hands when you come here. I was weary at first but as soon as I found out the type of person he is I was relieved and knew I was in good hands. He even dealt with the warranty company to get them to cover more for the car repairs and ended up saving me way more money. My whole family is sold on his quality of work and now whenever we have a problem we just call Bob.

Bob is very straight forward no games he replaced my transmission the quote he gave me is what it cost didn't add on any extra at the end. My cost was about $4900.00 I have a 6speed chevy truck.I upgraded to a 3 year nation wide warrantyAt the time of this review i jave put over 2200 miles 1745 of that towing a rv. Shifts smoothAlso he replace the fluid in transfer case.

I can only give Bobs Transmission shop 5 stars and I feel like that s less than what he deserves. He went above and beyond to make sure that I got the best transmission for my Hummer and something that would last. I m really happy with how my shifts are firm but not annoying. I purchased a few heavy duty parts on my own and one was a factory defect and even though it was not Bobs problem he worked with his supplier to get a hard to find replacement part delivered at a moments notice. Bad news is I need another transmission in my other truck, Good news is I have found the right Man for the job! I never review anything hardly but I was treated so well and helped out so much as in 6 phone calls asking questions and 1 visit and even though Bob was busy he took time for me! Get your stuff fixed right and get it done at a fair price and ask for Bob! His shop is cleaner and better organized than my house! Lol

What can I say. Absolutely the best transmission shop in town. I was traveling and I had my transmission serviced at a shop in New Mexico about 30 days ago. But I'm now having issues with it shifting. I got back into town and I took it to Bob's transmission to have it looked at. Bob started by checking the fluid only to find that it wouldn't even read on the dip stick. As he was adding fluid he discovered that the fluid was leaking on the floor. He put the van on the lift and saw that the pan gasket was leaking. He tighten the bolts and topped it off with fluid. Bob spent an hour on my van and added 4 quarts of synthetic transmission fluid at a cost of at least $5.00 per quart. He told me to watch it for a couple of days but it should now be OK. When I asked how much I owed he said, NO CHARGE. Wait, what? So if quality work, honesty and peace of mind is important to you in looking for a mechanic, LOOK NO FURTHER. You've found a home. Bob THANK YOU AGAIN!

My son highly recommended Bob's for a non-transmission auto repair.I received professional service in a timely manner.And you know what.... after evaluating an engine light issue and a simple fix, I was not charged. Who does that?!Bob's Transmission does.Want honest, timely service - use Bob's Transmission!My son was right in referring me there. And my car works great!

Honest shop. When Bob realized my repairs would cost more than my car is worth, he gave the good advice to get a new car. Didn't even charge for the diagnostic, which is ludicrous in today's world. I will be back if I ever need anything transmission related for a vehicle.

My 14 year old car didn't pass smog and I was given a code that indicated a transmission problem of some kind by the smog shop. I was quite nervous because I thought my car was going to be expensive to fix.I took the car to Bob and he found that the car was fine and the transmission as well. He was able to get it to pass smog and only charged for an hour of labor. A dishonest mechanic might have lied and said I needed this or that but Bob doesn't appear to be that kind of person.I am extremely pleased to have met Bob and for his honesty and integrity. Bob even greeted me by name when I came to pick up the car. I'll be back when another problem occurs. Thank you, Bob!

We went to Bob's on recommendation from my brother in law when our transmission blew in the middle of the desert. Bob was so incredibly helpful to me and my husband, taking multiple calls from us and finally telling us that it would cost more to repair the transmission of our van than the van was worth. He let us keep our van there until we could have it towed away and when my husband asked him how much we owed him for the diagnosis and all the work, he said $0. That was such a relief after spending a ton on tows and now having to buy a new car. Mechanics are often thought of as shady and dishonest.....Bob is anything BUT. He is honest and super helpful. I'd recommend him any day!!!

Bob is a very honest person and the best professional there is. He would tell you straight up what the cost is going to be and won't burden you with unnecessary repairs. No one knows about transmissions more than he does, whether it's your daily driver or high performance project. Bob was recommended by my mechanic and that alone says alot about his skill level.

Bob's Transmission job is just great! Bob as a courteous and galen , and a honorable man. Honest 100% in my opinion. I think just that tells all about him. My son and I are so thrilled that we found his shop through family and other customers of his. Excellent! He has repaired our car and stood behind his work. What is great, is that we never have to take our car to him twice. Once our repair was done it was perfect the first time around. Being in business and other's to praise him say's a lot about his work.

Go to Bob. He is a first class person who does a first class job. And all at reasonable prices. My '63 Vette broke down leaving Las Vegas and I just got really lucky that I found Bob to fix it. An honest and reputable mechanic is hard to find- and I found one!Thanks, Bob, for the great work and assurance that my car was in good hands.

Bob was awesome! We had just had a bunch of front end work done at a different shop but the car still wasn't running right. Bob diagnosed the problem in 10 minutes (which the other shop should have caught and fixed) and was able to fix it right away. I'll be taking my car there from now on because, as it turns out, he services whole cars, not just transmissions!

I can not stress how amazing this shop is! Bob always does me right, he s worked on my jeep for years. Never once have I had a problem with him or other employees. He is always fair priced, and diligent.
