I had a flat on my car. They did attempt to fix it. However, we re not able to. That being said, I expected to buy two new tires. Being told that jeep requires me to buy all four tires led me to believe I was being taken advantage of as a Female, senior citizen. When I went back to pick up the car, my husband went with me and we asked the same questions I asked in the beginning. Ian was not there the day before when they had to order the tires, however, he was there for the pick up the next day. He answered all my questions so that I understood them and the reasoning that I had to buy four tires instead of two. He did not hurry in his explanation, even though there were other customers coming in to pick up their cars. He is knowledgeable, and good to talk to you when you have questions. I would give this a higher rating if it were solely for him. Now I understand why Tires Plus was getting lower ratings from people in the area. Questions? Talk to Ian.

Chuck helped us out when my girlfriend and I were on a long road trip down to LA. I got a nail in my tire and Chuck got us in before opening time to get us back on the road as soon as possible. He even recommended us a great donut shop nearby when we were on our way out. I will recommend this Tires Plus to everyone I know. Thank you, Chuck!

Best Tires Plus I ve been to in years (I ve bounced around the Reno/Carson area)! The guys were friendly and professional. I had an appointment for an oil change and they finished even earlier than the quoted time! Just excellent service, thank you! I will definitely be returning to this location for future services.

Manager Chuck has always taken great care of my automotive maintenance / repair needs. This last visit was to repair flat tire in 90 minutes so I could leave on a planned roadtrip.

Reputable, on time, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. The best in town! My most recent experience at the Tires Plus Sierra View location was a 9. It would have been a 10, but no one offered me coffee and a morning danish. Lol. All kidding aside, I have been going to Tires Plus Sierra View location for over 5 years, and have always received great service. And yes, I would definitely recommend Tires Plus Sierra View location to anyone who asks. Keep up the good work, Tires Plus Team.

I found it nearly impossible to understand the vernacular dialect your receptionist was speaking. Thankfully I was able to pick up certain words and use the context of my call to understand what she was saying. Please consider answering the phones in standard English dialect to avoid frustrating your potential customers.

Chuck, the store manager, was a friendly person to deal with. However, when my car went Limp, I called to ask if their technician had enough knowledge to work on my 2014 BMW X1. They said yes, so I brought it in. Later in the day, they informed me that they believed there was an issue with the fuel injector and would order a new one. Despite the repair cost coming in at around $1200, I agreed. The next day, I asked the technician in charge what the EU was for this injector. He replied that he didn't know and that they ordered it based on the VIN. I then asked if they had tried to read the EU from the OBD scanner, to which he responded: NO. I was surprised by this and asked how they would code it so the ECU could read the new injector, to which he replied that there was no need. This blew my mind because they were not adequately equipped to fix my car. I took the car away immediately and charged $700 for the four sparkplugs and one ingenious coil replacement.

Fantastic place to buy tires! Chuck and the whole crew always get us the right deal at the right price.this last time we shopped all over carson and Reno, but tires plus in Gardnerville neat them all again hands down

We drove over a pothole and punctured a tire in South Lake Tahoe. The tire place in SLT was too busy so we decided to search a bit further when we found them.I spoke with Chuck on the phone. He s not only knowledgeable but also more importantly he showed empathy for our situation. He reminded us to drive slowly on downhills.Everyone at the store is super nice and personable. I kept talking with Chuck and Zion(apologies if I misheard his name) for an hour and half. At the end, not only did they help us out on a Sunday, they CLEANED THE RIMS! That s what I call above and beyond.

I was told by the people who installed my new tires that I needed a front-end alignment, so I scheduled an appointment with Tires Plus.After checking my alignment they determined that I did not need a front-end alignment, and they couldn't see charging me.It was very much appreciated that they didn't charge me, even though I took some of their time.I will have to say this...If you go there you'd better get there early because there is "limited" parking, and they are very busy.Also, when I asked people on the "neighborhood" website the question as to who should I go to for a front-end alignment, it was unanimous Tires Plus.

Best customer service. The men at this shop are nice, genuine workers. I have been here a few times, knocked out tires, oil, sparks plugs. Even if Tires Plus costs a but more for oil changes than doing it myself the personalities here is worth the extra cost to 1 not do it myself and 2 kick back enjoy some coffee and watch TV while waiting.Services: Tires, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment, Oil change

Twice! I've taken two different trucks there for balance and rotate. Twice I was told I need new tires. I always buy my tires in October and my last balance is now. The tires were above the tread bar in both cases. In one case at least 30% tread left. I get it, you want to sell new tires, but hey, how about you let me wear the old ones out first.This practice seems a bit sketchy.Thanks. Not a customer anymore.

They were knowledgeable and friendly . They had the battery we needed, which wasn't easy to get without ordering! We didn't know that, actually TIRES PLUS was our 3rd shop and they had 2!! Very happy customer

I called for a phone quote on tires and was provided that quote. My husband called to confirm the price and was told the same amount. When we went to order the tires, we were told their was a computer software issue, and the amount for the tires was increased by $400+ dollars. No real apology or desire to make this mistake correct. This company would not stand on their original phone quoted price. We will not due business with them in the future and warn others of this dishonorable business practice.

Tires plus in Gardenerville, NV is always great! Their display window always let's you see what they're doing with your vehicle. They will only offer additional services out of safety and they will show you what their concern is while your car is still up, so you can make the decision. Always friendly no matter how busy! My advice, make an appointment cause they're always super busy. I've never met anyone who has anything bad to say about these guys.

Buyer Beware! Especially if you are a woman.I've been a patron there since 2013 with no problems. Last week I brought my 5yo car in for an alignment and the manager came back after 15 min and said it could not be aligned because the tires were wearing unevenly. He also said I needed a new FULL set of tires and new shocks/struts. My tires (that I purchased there) have 35,000 miles on them and more than enough tread to last twice that. Sent me packin' with no alignment and a $2200+ quote for the work that "needed to be done". Seemed very suspicious. Got a 2nd opinion by my TRUSTWORTHY mechanic, they confirmed it was all BS.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment

Chuck and the whole team are literal life savers. My father and I have been going to this tires plus for years, with one fail car after another, and they are always here when I need them. Efficient and Great customer service. They actually care about your car and have never let me down.

Put my tires on quickly and as scheduled but no time for alignment due to staff leaving at 3 pm for the weekend. Not flexible..

Unfortunately, this place just isn't what it used to be. Do not waste time with online appointments. I set up an online appointment only to arrive to be told they don't have an appointment for me. I tried calling several times that day to verify my appointment but they were not answering phones. A while back they did some work on one if our cars, but didnt complete everything I asked for. I asked for a full car inspection. When I picked it up it was clear that didn't happen even though they gave me paperwork saying it was completed. What was once a good place to take your car now seems poorly ran and untrustworthy.

My wife and I were 700 miles from home headed on a road trip to Death Valley when we started having alternator problems. We stopped at Tires Plus where Chuck, the manager, got Garrett, a technician, to test the battery and alternator. They were able to replace the alternator the next day. Meanwhile we rented a car and continued our trip. I m very appreciative of their prompt service which unfortunately is unexpected during these times of both worker and supply chain shortages.
