Specialty in 4x4! Diagnosed and solved my issues and had my only car back to me fast! A little expensive (as is everything today) but always great service and detailed explanations. No nonsense but they can get quite busy.

110% recommend taking your vehicle to Marc at Hollar sI can t say enough about how professional, obviously knowledgeable, and kind Marc, the owner, was through out the entire day/service. My car completely engine failed on a trip and I had my car towed, many of the high rated mechanics in the area could not even look at it until Monday. Marc said he d be able to at least check it out today, he did just that as soon as I arrived, then professionally explained my engine s catastrophic failure, showed how the bearing failed and my engine oil was contaminated etc.(I don t know much about engines other than to change the oil and he explained the issue patiently and simple) and provided me a full write up. Marc was honest, thorough, and knowledgeable and I would 100% take my vehicle here for diagnostic and service in future, even though it is a farther drive.While I ended up towing my car to the nearest dealership because of this kind of failure seemed likely to be covered under extended engine warranty/settlement and dealership needed to make that call, I found the diagnostic information he provided helpful based on the engine failure happening with my vehicle- especially when speaking with the dealership and finding help. Marc and his team are experienced, honest mechanics and just great people.

I would not even give them a 1 Star! We dropped off our vehicle for almost 2 weeks they never looked at it we could never reach them to see what progress they had made. He never called us to tell us anything and on the end of week two he called me and told me he didn't have the time to look at it and to come and pick it up because he needed the parking spot! Mind you we had to have it towed there so I had to pay for another tow to get it back to our house. Horrible, Rude & Inconsiderate

I brought my Jeep to Hollars, directly from the shop at the Jeep dealership. Jeep was charging an arm and a leg for diagnoses and I wanted to take it to a shop with more knowledge and experience. I looked at reviews online. People that had issues at others shops ended up getting their work done at Hollars. I took it in, met Mark, the owner, who has like 30 yrs experience. He came out to listen to the car. I showed him the next round of diagnostics that Jeep wanted an additional $550 to run, he said that it was obvious just by listening to it that didn't need either of those tests. They fit us into a tight schedule and were able to further diagnose the issue. The news wasn't good, but we expected it. They didn't charge a dime for diagnosis or their time. Because of this experience, we towed a Mustang to them that had been sitting in the garage for 4 yrs. They went above and beyond, fixed it up and even trouble shooted and fixed a separate issue for the car. All for less than $500! It drives great now!!As a side note, when I came in, I had been working and was dressed up. I know more about cars than I look like I would, bc I drove a number of beaters when I was younger and learned how to do a lot of work on my own. Also, I was blessed with some great mechanics in my life who taught me a lot. Mark didn't talk down to me once. He didn't try to pull any wool over my eyes or tell me we needed work that we didnt need. He was very knowledgeable, patient and thorough in his explanations, and is a genuinely nice guy. Additionally, another employee who mans the desk/phone when Mark isn't there, Robert, is equally as patient, thorough, and kind. My husband also went in to speak to them, he spoke with Robert, and was very impressed. Ladies, you know the risk of taking your car to just anybody. Take it here. You can trust them.

My experience here has never been poor. Marc and Robert are just amazing, patient, friendly, professional, and just amazing.They are very informative and honest. It was my first experience here and now this is my forever shop if I have to take my cars there to be fixed. I won't go anywhere else.

They connected their code reader on our truck when the check engine light came on and didn t charge us for giving their time to evaluate the seriousness of the issue. We have such a comfort level that we ve scheduled a tune up in a week and a half.Thank you guys for your help! You re a God sent!

We brought our vehicle in for service in June and were pleased with the work. Six months later we had another problem. Hollars looked it over and felt they may have missed an item. Hollar's Automotive is like having a mechanic in the family, I trust them with all of my vehicles and they never let me down. I once had my truck towed down to their shop because it was making a terrifying noise, they could have told me it was anything, I would never have known, but I got a call 30 minutes later to come get the truck and they didn't charge me a dime to pull the tumbleweed out of the fan casing. If that doesn't scream trust worthy I don't know what does. Couldn't recommend them more highly. Thanks as always, guys.

Quick and nice! Mark has been around for a long time, runs a good business. They found my problem and fixed it in no time which saved me money, and they didnt start at he most expensive and go backwards. Would reccomend to any diesel owner

These guys saved our bacon ! Very broken vehicle on Kingsbury grade the whole wheel fell off ! They got truck into their shop with tow company for us. Marc looked at it same day. Had a bid with in an hour. Marc also took care of getting truck a new set of tires by taking it to les shwab next door. The whole job was done in 24hrs ! Are you kidding ? Done in one day were are so very pleased.
