I cannot say enough good things about the guys at Douglas Radiator. They treat people with respect and do quality work. As a woman, they have not once made me feel taken advantage of or stupid. They are kind, responsive and highly competent. We have been brining our diesel truck and Subaru here for years. I recommend my friends and family come here. 10/10 recommend!

Great shop, did a great job fixing the AC and radiator on an old 1986 Dodge Ram Van that a few other shops in town wouldn't work on. Great service, great prices, the owner Tim is very friendly and happy to help. Highly recommend!

Great shop. I ve had services several times and always had excellent service at a fair price. I m confident that I can tak a vehicle in, explain the problem and know it will be repaired properly at a fair price. I don t feel a need to get a comparison quote. They re honest and more than competent. Priceless.

This is probably the best automotive repair shop I've seen in decades. We were here from out of town. When I explained to the manager we would be stranded here if the electrical was not repaired, he pulled two technicians off a different priority job in order to take care us. I wish I could take a shop like this back home with me.

Second time using them and both times they got me in quickly, kept me in contact with every little update and did a helluva job fixing my truck up. Timmy and crew are amazing. They always get you in, no matter how crazy busy they are. They work hard and they take pride in what they do, as well as helping others. Seriously the best shop! These guys are just awesome! I ve had numerous services done and they always do a great job at reasonable cost. Timmy is very knowledgeable and helpful w diagnostics. They were generous enough to diagnose our jeep for free since they were not sure if they were able to correct the problem. The gentleman at this shop as some of the most upstanding men I've dealt with, very communicative and informative. They worked so hard to get my car diagnosed and did so in an incredibly timely manner. I'm about 1000 miles from home and spoke with 2 other shops that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. This guy's at this shop were all wonderful and Timmy(the owner) took the time to explain everything to me. I couldn't be more satisfied with there work. THANK YOU SO MUCH DOUGLAS RADIATOR.

I brought my truck in for routine service and to troubleshoot possible a heater core issueThe guys there did a phenomenal job on my service, very clean work. They diagnosed my heater issue and now I have the best heater out of any vehicle I have ever owned. The team at Douglas Radiator is amazing. They are thorough, well priced and have a outstanding turnaround time.Thank you guys.

This is the most amazing, honest & genuine service that I have received anywhere from any industry. Timmy went above and beyond and to incredible lengths to help us when the ac went out in our car while we were on a family vacation with two little kids. He pulled every string he could to get us the part we needed before we had to head back on a 20 hour trip home. Before we found this shop we talked to almost every shop in the area and no one was able to do what he ended up doing. Without him, I have no idea what we would have done in the 100 degree weather. His whole team is amazing and they do incredible work.Service: A/C system repair

I've taken different vehicles into Douglas Radiator on 5 occasions. On every occasion, the repairs have been rapid and the costs considerably less than I expected. Super good and super fair. The owner Tim is very nice and polite. Highly recommend them for auto-repair.

Great experience. I called to make an appointment to fix my air conditioning I thought wasn't working. The guys really listened to my my crazy story about what was happening to my car. Within the 1/2 hour Timmy called to let me know it was my Clutch Fan. Everything about this auto repair was Great. I will use Douglas Radiator again. Thank you!

Timmy was really helpful over the phone! Offered to have me come in the day I called but I live up at the lake and couldn t make it down there for a couple days. He fixed the issue with my heater core and the price was great and matched what he quoted me. He also looked into the check engine light that was on and fixed it! Everything about the service was streamlined. Plus they had some really friendly doggies at the shop! I would highly recommend them and return for future repairs!

These guys rock my socks!! I had come here for a second opinion on some issues I was having with my dash lights, power to the car, and my check engine light being on.The day before I came to these guys, I had taken my car into a place I found online, feeling hopeful, based on all the good reviews they had. My car was at their shop for four hours with a diagnosis that was going to cost me almost $900.I decided to get a second opinion and was recommended to try Douglas Radiator and Auto, so I drove by hoping that they would have time to squeeze me in. They were super friendly and very helpful in just the first 20 minutes I was there. I left them my car overnight so they could give a proper diagnosis for what was going on with my car.Not only did they give a proper diagnosis, they went above and beyond to make sure my car was going to run good again, while also saving me over $600. That's right. $666.82.Also, there were three dogs there that were so friendly and beautiful. I know one was named Daisy and she was a sweetheart to me and my kids.I'll be coming back for sure, I WILL NOT go anywhere else for my car needs.Hear that, boys?Thanks again for all the hard work <3 I am so grateful. Great service for a last minute A/C repair! I called the shop on Friday at 4:00 before the long Memorial Day weekend when my A/C went out. I was leaving the morning after the holiday on a trip, and thought I d give it a shot (albeit it a very long shot) to find someone that could look at it. Timmy told me to come in, and he would stay late if needed to get me patched up. I got there at 5:00 and left about 30 minutes later with a fully repaired COLD A/C.Great shop and highly recommend!

Exceptional service, beyond my expectations.After contacting Douglas Radiator and Auto Air about replacing my cracked radiator, they promptly responded with an estimated repair cost and labor cost. Since I was ready to have the work done, I dropped my car off shortly after Douglas Radiator and Auto Air opened on Thursday morning.I dropped my car off alone, and what really caught my attention to this shop was the tact they showed. Steven offered me a ride to the nearest coffee store. I declined, since I came prepared for the walk and wait my car would undergo.Never before has a shop offered me a ride anywhere to wait out the repairs. Douglas Radiator and Auto Air showed me they cared about their customer. I knew by then my car would be well taken care of.A couple hours later, Steven called me back stating that my car was ready to be picked up.I paid my dues, and drove off in my car with confidence, knowing my radiator was fixed. Confidence that I had begun to experience only after calling the shop a day before the repairs had been administered.Douglas Radiator and Auto Air had given me such satisfaction in as little as two days, with a simple radiator fix, which has prompted me to write this review.I advise all current and future customers to consider this shop at their go too. Steven smartly stated that they repair radiators, but also brakes, transmission, suspension and basically any vehicle repair a person needs.Thank you Douglas Radiator and Auto Air for the work and exceptional customer service you displayed. I wish I could give you more than a five star review!

While passing through from L.A., my Class A RV's cab A/C failed last August. Had to be fixed so I could move on. At 6 p.m., I saw good reviews for this place, but figured they were closed. I went there anyway solely to see if my rig would even fit in their lot for the next day. Oddly, they were still open with tons of vehicles in the lot (obviously VERY busy). They "Closed" at 5:30 p.m., and realizing they probably wanted to go home, I apologized for keeping them later with my simple question of if they could handle my rig in the morning. I was expecting a "no" since the lot was so full already. Seeing I was from out-of-town, the shop manager (Tim) simply asked what was wrong. I explained, he considered my being on the road, and said, "I'll never have time tomorrow. Can you bring it now? I'll move some cars around so you can pull it in." Amazed, I ran back to Walmart to bring my rig in. He made room, hooked the rig up, and found it was empty of freon, so probably blew a hose or seal. Great, NOT simple. He says, "Well, let's take a peek." The motor and A/C compressor are all the way in back, accessible from inside the rig only, so I had to pull out the rear closet and floor hatches (gladly) so he could get to them. Thoughtfully, for my cream colored carpet, he slipped off his dirty shoes (hey, he works in a garage). He came in (and out, several times, each time removing his shoes), finding a blown hose that the last shop routed too close to the hot diesel turbo, making it brittle and prone to crack. I expected, "bring it back tomorrow." Instead, he got right to work making new fittings, rerouting the new hose away from the turbo, then evacuating and recharging the system. An hour later, we were good to go. He charged me a very fair price, not gouging at all for the late hour, nor my desperate situation. Tim was friendly, courteous, honest, reasonably priced and professional. Acted like I was doing him a favor, not the other way around. Asked me to stop by the next time through town so he could recheck it. Such a great experience. I highly recommend this shop! There is a reason this shop stays busy. Good, honest, thoughtful customer service. This is how a good business is run.

While Jeeping in Bridgeport CA we broke a motor mount on our Jeep. I contacted Timmy to see if he could work us in on our way through Gardnerville. He was very accommodating and did a great job. We were able to keep our travel plans intact because of his great customer service.

I had an issue with my truck misfiring. I took it to them and their diesel mechanic Del helped me troubleshoot the issue over a two day period. The shop was awesome and honest and at the end they didn t even charge me for their time. Highly recommended.

Douglas Radiator was recommended to me by a friend, and I took my full size Excursion to Douglas Radiator for exhaust problems. They made time for me right away, and did the work without taking a long time. Tim, and everyone working there are knowledgeable and they were friendly. I will be going back to Douglas radiator, and mechanic shop when my truck needs more TLC.

These guys are amazing. Best in the valley by far. Best customer service, best work and best prices. Came in to have them check my brakes which were really bad. They know that i commute to the lake on kingsbury grade every day. They said those brakes are to dangerous to make that drive. Dropped what they where doing and did complete front end brake job AND fixed a coolant leak AND cleaned by back drum brakes and had me back on the road in 90 minutes. Amazing! They know my truck is my only transportation and they have saved me on numerous occassions. So to Timmy, Del and the rest of the guys at Douglas Radiator THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! Btw if you happen to decline the free ride home and pickup when your car is finished and wait for your car, you get to play fetch with the dog!Thanks again guys!!!

When my beloved VW Eurovan leaked pink fluid, the last place I wanted to take it was the Reno dealer as I will *never* go to those ripoff artists again. Luckily I found Timmy and his amazing shop - the most peaceful auto repair shop I have ever been to. Very zen! Plus, they did exactly what they said they would do, did not overcharge me (like those Reno peeps), and there are no more leaks! If you ever have any radiator or auto air issues, call Timmy before you go anywhere else!
