quoted us $825 for a tire change. I read all these great reviews and truly had high hopes, described my situation, and no help from them.

Requested winch services. Stuck in the sand about 30 ft from pavement. Sassy and unclear on the phone for no reason. After about 20 minutes we called back to try and check if our tow was on its way, they confirmed it was and would call us when close to the location. They also stated the driver was a few blocks from our area. They called back awhile later to notify us they were further than they had thought and would not be coming after all. Referred us to a local service called Custom Towing in Fallon.Way easier to deal with, we ll see if they actually show up.1 star because we are in a desert with a dog and that sort of uncertainty is dangerous and not in the spirit of clear communication or good service.

Unethical and deceptive business practice.I hired this company to winch a Humvee on to a trailer. (15 minute job)This was scheduled for noon. we based then entire job off the timeline that worked for this tow company. At 12:30 my customer called and said the Cal-Nevada driver had not shown up yet, I reached out for an explanation from dispatcher (Ashley). She then put me on hold for 3 minutes and finally came back and claimed there was an emergency tow job and those take precedence over scheduled jobs they've committed to. However, Ashley nor anyone at their company made me aware of this. completely dropped the ball and took zero accountability. They actually tried to blame me for not filling out a credit form (which I was never instructed to do, but my fault) I was told he would be there between 3-4pm. we stressed our shipper closed at 2 pm, however we cut our rate for the job so the workers on site would stay later, on top of that we paid our hotshot driver $150 of detention time to accommodate Cal-Nevada's tardiness. After all of this the driver showed up at 3 pm and was out of there within 30 minutes. we were charged $800+. I called for an explanation and was basically told everyone in the office did not have the authority to talk to me about this issue. The manager Sierra said "once the driver comes in, ill be up his butt" about returning my call. Never received a call. Reached back out the next day. To my surprise, nobody there could speak with me about this issue. They said someone had tried to reach me but I did not answer (again my fault) I searched through my entire call log and did not have a call from them.Do yourself and favor and stay clear of this company

I know towing companies are busy so they did run a little late but otherwise Carlos was awesome and great attitude. I used Cal-Nevada before and haven't had a bad experience with them. They deal with alot of safety issues during loading and unloading from drivers not paying attention, I consider those people just as needed as any other emergency agencies. Stay safe out there tow truck drivers!! Thank you and great job as always.Service: Local hauling

I had an unbelievable experience with this company! Carlos came to my rescue on the side of the road and got me towed back to a car repair shop in Reno, and went the extra mile by dropping me off at my local hotel I was staying at why my car was being repaired. Thank you so much for going far and beyond, you're the best tow company I've ever used in Nevada!!Services: Car towing, Long distance hauling

I had made an appointment to tow my vehicle to Fallon, so they scheduled for it to be picked up the following morning, at 9am. 9am the next day rolled around and there they were prompt and quick. Robert was professional and very easy-going. I will definitely use Cal-Nevada for any vehicle service in the future. Price wasn't unreasonable either! 5 stars!

Considering the circumstances, white out conditions during an expected 4 ft blizzard, the driver did an excellent job of towing my 18 wheel drybox truck off of Donner summit. Unfortunately I had to be winched out of the gravel lot where he towed me to. It was covered with snow, when he left me there, which turned to ice. After I dug and chipped through that, the truck still wouldn't move.and eventually the wheels would just spin in the mud. Still, I think the driver did the best he could in that very difficult situation. He did say that other trucks had parked there in the past. I think we just found a soft spot in that lot.Service: Special vehicle towing

This company lied about the pricing of what their services would be. Additionally, they intentionally charge inflated rates. What should have been about a $5/mile charge ended up being about $13/mile. Be prepared, you may be charged 2-3K for a tow, like we were. This company seems to take advantage of people in desperate circumstances because they can. Even if you get a better deal than us, just know this is how Cal-Nevada operates their business. If you can, consider someone else.Service: Car towing

Wonderful service!!! Louis was extremely knowledgeable and Rapidly able to diagnose my issue..Louis arrived in 18 minutes as he said in his ETA phone call to me. Louis also followed me safely to the nearest gas station (since I was low on gas) on his way out to service more customers. I will definitely use Cal-Nevada in the future. Louis also mentioned to me that Cal-Nevada would even be able to assist me in my Truckee location. Thank you so very much Louis!!! You took the stress out of the situation and out of my day.

To whom it may concern,Received amazing service yesterday in the Reno area through CAL Nevada. Service was quick (about a 30 min wait from time of call), and the operator was friendly. Tow driver Landon S.C. Unit #450 was extremely polite and professional, and a damn good drive, and I wanted to make sure to mention him specifically.Pricing for the tow was $70 hook-up + $5/mi, one of the better deals out there, especially with 24hr service.

Awesome!! Our semi broke down in the middle of nowhere. They got a truck out fast! Tried to drop our trailer at our delivery but they wouldn't accept it that way so I set up through them a daycab to pick up our trailer and make the delivery the next day on time. They were reasonably priced, efficient, and enjoyable to work with.

My Family owns a towing business so my expectations are very high ! I had to use them 3 times in a bit over a week and each time they were right there no long wait and very accommodating on towing when i could not be there in one occasion, which is not what they normally do. There dispatchers are some of the best I have seen in the business. Great job ladies you all saved my bacon a few times in a week!

State Farm failed me. Left me waiting 4+ hrs in what was turning into a dark parking lot. Called State Farm & it was going to be another 3 hr wait. Hey man you won't believe this I got stuck in some sugar saying and cold around and got in contact with Kyle Nevada towing man unbelievable very professional got Nick came in and handled the situation so quick man I didn't mind paying $500 but you won't believe the price it was under 300 bucks man and their professional very courteous amen if I give these people 100 Stars I would man thank you very much Nick and Cal Nevada towing for your professional work in you stood by your time within an hour he was here 35 minutes thank you again man God bless this company

Steve was wonderful! Picked me up at 5 am for a tow on a Saturday and dropped me off downtown to get breakfast and helped me load my car on a trailer all while by himself. Extremely kind and friendly, highly recommend probably the best towing service around.

I want to give this place 5 stars only because the experience with my driver, who did all he could to treat my car right and with caution of potential towing damage. didn t over charge as he could have squeezed me for more. Not sure about the other drivers but the one that picked up my 335 was a good hand. Thanks brotha

I had Joe in truck 50, come out to tow me from Fernley to Freightliner in Sparks. I didn t have to wait long. He got me hooked up and to Sparks pretty quick. He was very professional and a pleasure to talk to. Always smiling and seems to love his job. I tip my hat to you. A job I wouldn t want to do.The price of the tow was more than fair too. Keep up the good work Cal-Nevada and Joe.
