Ron was very helpful in getting my sale executed almost completely online. I was pleasantly surprised how easy he made it and stayed in communication through the whole process. Thank you for all your help, Ron. If the opportunity should arise in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to either recommend or do business with again.

They really went the extra mile to assist me with my car purchase!!I was looking for a specific model car and found a vehicle that fit my needs at Carson Auto Sales. Being from Northern California I was a little reluctant to purchase a car from out of state, but I am glad I did. Not only did they give me a fair price on the car. But they also were accommodating to meet me on a Saturday. There were some issues with financing but they were there to help every step of the way. They even gave me some shining polish to keep my new wheels looking good! Anyone who has spent any amount of time visiting used car dealers knows that it's hard to know who to trust. Ron at Carson Auto Sales was a stand up and honest guy! If you find a vehicle that you like, that they have in stock, I'd say go with them. I went here to purchase a ford explorer they had for sale. The Owner told me that all needed repairs were made and the vehicle was ready to go. My partner and I took it for a test drive and within a few minutes the check engine light came on. When we returned and told the owner, he then changed his story and said that the a/c needed work and a few other items we decided to not buy the vehicle due to the owner not being straight forward and honest. Beware..

Update: I went here to get a car a year ago and still haven't received the title. The guy is finally working on getting it for me a year later and is having problems that I can only assume weren't being checked for the whole time I spent waiting on him to get it in the mail. Luckily for me, I wasn't in a position when I was dependent on my own car, and now that I am, I wish I had bought my car elsewhere.

This is a long over-due review. I purchased a Porsche Panamera from Ron. Let me say, he loved this vehicle and was sad to let it go. Seeing he owned a few Porsches himself and in his garage he had an evo getting some work done, he knows his cars. Ron has always been there; even 6 months after the purchase, to help me out whenever needed. I recently moved here from Texas to Reno and was looking for a second vehicle that was more economical than my lifted duramax but still fun to drive. You won t find another caring and car-passionate guy out there selling cars. Don t be afraid to ask questions about the vehicle you are looking to buy, he will answer all questions you have. To me this is how car buying should be. Thank you Ron.

I just bought my very first pickup from Ron there at Carson Auto Sales! Let me tell you, he is a very fair and honest sales person. Ron went above and beyond in making sure that the 2003 Ford Ranger that he just sold me met my needs. He sells quality vehicles at a fair and competitive price. My family and I met a friend with Ron and I will definitely be coming back to purchase another vehicle from him for one of the kids! Don t hesitate in shopping and buying at Carson Auto Sales; you won t be disappointed!

The owner Ron and his son had portrayed great customer service the minute i walked in the door. Friendly, helpful and easygoing...I had checked several other places for a decent vehicle before seeing them; nothing worked out. Luckily all their stock on hand ran very well, had very clean interiors, and very few issues.Ron even took time out of his lunch break to assist us in checking the vehicles and letting us test drive them. By far my best experience dealing with a used car purchase, ever.I highly recommend and praise this small family run business. They dont have the size or quantity that most bigger dealers do, but what they lack in size, they make up for in quality and great customer service.Thanks again guys, much appreciated.

I cannot say enough GREAT THINGS about Ron at Carson Auto Sales! He is the perfect blend of professional and personable. I've been looking for an SUV for my daughter for awhile and talked to Ron about getting just the right one suited for her needs. He spent a lot of time listening and then talking with us about what we wanted, and in the end found us the perfect car for her and at very reasonable price and we couldn't be happier! Ron is a Certified mechanic, with his own shop and goes over each vehicle he brings in with a fine-toothed comb and immediately goes to work to make sure it's in great running order before it ever goes onto his lot. If there are repairs needed he fixes them before he puts the car out as well. In addition to his wealth of knowledge of cars and trucks, his prices are absolutely reasonable and very affordable and he offers financing those that need it as well. I highly recommend Ron and his family-owned business to everyone looking for a quality vehicle and an honest and trustworthy used car professional. You won't be sorry, and I will certainly be back talking to Ron the next time I need another car or truck!

I had a great experience with Ron. He was very nice and professional. I knew I wanted the truck and he had everything ready for me when I came to test drive and sign papers. There was an issue that came up with the truck shortly after I bought it and after a diagnosis Ron purchased the part for me to replace (Ron offered to install the new part but I chose to install it myself) even though I bought it "AS-IS". I would absolutely buy another vehicle from him. Thanks Ron for my dream truck!!!!

Had a great experience with Ron. He helped get us into an affordable car that was in good mechanical shape, and he even got it smogged for us! I would highly recommend this place. Ron is a decent guy who will work with you. And he also has a shop!

Ron was dedicated to ensuring the transaction of my car purchase went smoothly. Three days after I purchased the vehicle a minor part broke and Ron replaced it without question. The part that broke could be not have prevented and unfortunately could not have been discovered until it happened. He however was diligently dedicated to making sure I received a perfect running car back. I would recommend him to anyone. Great experience!

Honestly could not have been happier with my experience here. Ron was amazing and helpful and the car I bought I am extremely happy with. If you re looking for an honest car salesman and decent and good priced used cars this is the place to go. This will definitely be where I will be going for all future cars I need.

Ron went out of his way to make me a happy customer. I bought one car there, but later decided I wanted a different car than what he had on his lot. Ron found me the other car & bought back from me the first one. Gave me exactly what I paid for it ! He didn't have to do that.Don't buy a car without looking over what he has. Fair, Honest, wanting to please, that's Ron Wilson Good Luck Dennis

As most of the reviews say Ron, seems like a nice "honest" guy, I saw a truck he was selling on Craigslist, & I went to his place the next day to test drive the truck. The truck looks good, & now having read some of the previous reviews, this truck suffers from some of the ailments as others stated, like the A/C didn't work, along with the inop power mirrors. But because I'd been looking for quite some time for a reasonable truck for an even better price I bought the vehicle.I had my own financing so I didn't have to worry about using some other lender. My buddy (who's looking for a vehicle for his son) drove the truck to Reno. Once home I took over with driving. Filled the tank w/fuel & had dinner with my friend. The next morning I try to start the truck & the battery is dead. So I have to go buy a new battery. I texted Ron to let him know about the problem, he promised to send me a gift card to offset the cost of the new battery.I also remember him telling us about the "safety" check he does on "all" his vehicles, but I would think a battery would be on that list.Anyway, I always planned on buying new tires for the truck so when I get the new tires & want to have the best old tire put on the spare, I find out there is no spare. I guess that was missed in the safety inspection too. I suppose I should have looked but because Ron, seemed so "honest" I didn't think about checking for such a thing. The next day I text Ron, letting him know about the missing spare. He ghosts me. When I finally get the paperwork so I can register the vehicle, he sends the promised gift card.The weird thing about the card was how worn it looked, almost like it was previously used. I went to the Autozone website to check the balance of the card, but kept getting error messages from the site. So today I physically went to Autozone to see what the balance was & low & behold I find out it was only $7.00, not even 10% of the cost for the battery.No where is $7.00 even close to of off setting the cost of a new battery.So with his ghosting of me about the spare & this "gift card" debockle, it was the last straw. So I decided to review Carson Auto Sales.Sure Ron is nice, but he's obviously just a small office car salesman, & he upholds the typical car salesman stereo types. He'll tell you anything to make the sale hiding his greed & distaine for honesty. He's not to be fully trusted. Take what he tells you with a grain of salt.His "safety inspections" are a joke. If you buy a vehicle from him have a trusted mechanic who will do a real inspection or know what to look for when buying a vehicle.I know my friend won't be buy his son's car from Carson Auto Sales, & I'm going to let everyone I know who's looking to buy a car to avoid CAS.Shame on you Ron, for your dishonesty & poor after sale customer service.

Be careful. Owner seems nice and I went in to look at the 2002 Buick Rendezvous. Seemed nice til digging around under the hood. The engine oil was white and very lowOwner seemed clueless of the issue and said he just changed the oil. He didn't seem like a certified mechanic so I would be cautious when buying.

Ron went above and beyond. Him and his wife were very patient and helpful through the whole process. Stayed late and worked with my credit union to get me my truck as soon as possible. I couldn't be happier with my experience, thank you !

My husband was supposed to be buying a truck from this man and told him it was a done deal. My husband dropped 50$ in gas and put protective matts in the truck. Later that night he told him he needed to bring it back because something came up with the bank but he had other lenders. He strung my husband along with false promises and kept saying well I have another lender. When I called him to ask to be reimbursed for the gas he told me he "spent a lot of his money doing credit checks and maybe we could work something out". Well he never returned our calls and he sold the truck with our matts in it. Beware of rip offs like this!

You don't have to have perfect credit to purchase a car here and they only need a low down. I like the fact that the prices are low compared to other places I've looked at. The car I purchased had a few issues but the owner was able to fix them for me before I drove it home. They have a good selection to choose ftom

Ron is good honest person really hard to find these days.No bs with him no pressure sales no hidden fees like a lot of used car dealers.I would recommend this dealership will be buying another car from him in the future thanks Ron
