First time purchasing a vehicle by myself. Bill Brown made the experience so comfortable for me. Super accommodating and friendly. The 2021 Ranger XLT really sold itself. Still in love. Maintenence service since is always a breeze and they make sure my truck is always taken care of right. Kudos to the Capital Ford team!

We bought a new 2022 Ford Edge ST in 02/2023. Driving home from a road trip a week ago, we heard a huge explosion. We thought someone was shooting at us! The panoramic sunroof completely exploded, leaving a football size hole in the roof. Nothing hit us, no one shot at us. We called the service manager, Nick, at Captital Ford the next day, sent him pictures, etc. He came back to us a few days later and told us that since there is no recall, it is not covered by the warranty. We have less than 7,000 miles on the vehicle! We googled Ford exploding sunroof and found that there are a number of Fords with this issue and an active lemon law class action suit. There was an investigation but no recall was issued. We then called the general manager at Capital Ford, Tim Milligan, and he has NEVER called us back. So completely disappointed with Ford and them not standing behind their product. This will be several thousand dollars out of our pocket for a known issue that they will not own up to. A (former) loyal Ford owner that is completely disillusioned.

So very worth the drive to visit and purchase your vehicle with Capital Ford! Their service department is exceptionally fast and thorough! Salespeople know their products and can answer/explain all your questions. Finance department always provides you with the best deals! We will purchase and service all our vehicles with Capital Ford!!

Capital Ford was a delight to work with from the beginning of the process to the end,. My salesperson Gabe was wonderful too work with as well as Scott and Jason in finance. I would highly recommend anybody looking to purchase a new vehicle to stop in and give Capital Ford a shot at your new car purchase. You won't be disappointed

Recently bought a new car from here. Bill Brown was our salesman and I feel like he took care of us pretty well. He even came over to my house to help me program the garage opener for the car but unfortunately my garage unit isn't compatible (not his fault). I would definitely recommend him if you want a new Ford and your in Carson City. Thank you!

Had an unexpected adaptive steering fault warning pop-up unexpectedly on our Ford F-350 on our 1,500 mile road trip. Came into Capital Ford service without an appointment and explained the situation and that we were out of town. Because we were traveling, we were hoping to get help. What we got was top shelf, amazing help.Although we didn't have an appointment and they had only 3 technicians available and already booked, Nick, service manager, completely took charge to trouble shoot the issue, communicating often to us what they were finding. After Nick explained our options, we decided to have Capital Ford do the work of replacing the steering wheel. Nick said he would expedite the part order and have it in by the following day for repair. The repair, under warranty, was completed the next day allowing our family to get back on the road, safely.Impeccable professionalism and friendliness by everyone I met. Much gratitude to Nick. He made the experience feel like I was being helped by my neighbor. I owe him a beer next time we swing through town.

The sales team, Darian Gentle and David Wheelock were amazing. Understood my needs and quickly showed me some options. Once I selected the vehicle I wanted, Tim Milligan made sure I was taken care of and that my Escape was detailed and ready to take home. Norm Hash made signing my documents painless and the process was so efficient! When I was ready to take my new vehicle home, the staff had a driver follow me. Thank you Capital Ford! I'll be back for my next vehicle for sure!

I ended up going a different route as I ordered a Ford Maverick back in October and decided to purchase a vehicle elsewhere. This decision was not based on the Internet manager or the salesperson Josh Saunders. They were very accommodating and answered any questions I had about the process.

The touchscreen on my 2019 Ford F150 was malfunctioning. Called Cap Ford to make an appointment to have this fixed. I had to wait a month before they could even schedule me an appointment. They had my car for two days just to diagnose the problem. I was told I would receive a phone call once the parts came in and we could reschedule another appointment. I waited over another month and never received a callback . I had to contact Cap Ford and Ford corporate in order to get satisfaction. Once Ford corporate got involved, I was scheduled immediately and the service took less than one day. I shouldn t have to complain to The corporate offices in order to get prompt service. I bought my truck at Cap Ford, but doubt if I would do it again

Be cautious when buying a car from this specific dealership. Went in and felt so much pressure antics from the salesman. Did not feel comfortable what so ever. This was the worst experience I ve had so far. As I ve been to plenty of car dealerships. Overpriced cars and high interest rates. BE AWARE!!

The young man that assisted us with the purchase of our new vehicle (DG where his initials) was very helpful. He assisted me to pair my phone to the new car, and walked me through the other buttons and knows. Would go back if we purchase another vehicle.

I bought a set of transmission cooler lines four about $360 and ended up returning them because I found a way to fix my old lines and save some money. When I tried to return them at 4 o'clock on a Monday afternoon, I went to the parts counter and found that they closes early due to staffing issues, went back the next day and waited in line for 15 minutes, as they only had one guy at the counter, and when he called for backup it took forever for the guy to come out from the back. He then sat on his computer while I was staring at him for a solid 10 minutes before acknowledging me. When I went to return the lines, he told me they charge a "restocking fee", okay fair enough. I understand it costs freight to order stuff and so on, I was expecting it to be something reasonable, like $20. No it was 20 PERCENT, so they charged me $80 to return the part. Last time I will ever buy parts from this place. Overpriced, understaffed, and the usual money grabbing dealerships are known for.

My review is the service department at Capital Ford. We dropped our 2023 Ford F350 on March 11th for a transmission check. We were told it would be a one day repair. At this point it is March 27th and we still have no update on the truck other than it may need a new transmission. We have texted, called, even visited in person. After arriving in person I was given the number for the service manager Nick and still no response on the condition of my truck over 24 hours later. This is a brand new truck with 13000 miles that MAY need a new transmission. What has happened to the dependable Ford truck and what has happened to common courtesy of a conversation about the condition of your truck. If this truck needs a new transmission the value will be greatly depreciated if a very expensive truck that 6 months old.

In particular, Gabe was very helpful with my purchase and follow up questions that I had about my vehicle. Went here a few weeks ago with my heart set on buying a new 2024 f250 after my 2019 Silverado 2500 was totaled . The sales reps passed me along 4 separate times obviously thinking I wasn t worth their time. So I went down the road and purchased a new truck with all the bells and whistles.

Just paid $1400 today, after waiting 5 days of being told will be fixed tomorrow and problem is not fixed. Repair cashier lies. Service is bad. This place scams people and I would not recommend ever. Broke down in mountains in 100 degree weather after waiting about a week to be on road. Not even out of Nevada yet.

Customer Service is Five Star.Sharon in sales is amazing and extremely responsive to all your questions! The GM, Valente has always been a pleasure working with. I ordered a F-150 Lightning before production started. The dealership kept me informed about the production schedule for 18 months.Once the vehicle arrived in Carson City I scheduled the delivery transaction.The dealership was very accommodating and provided purchase options to fit my needs.The vehicle was delivered in pristine condition and I couldn t be happier with Capital Ford.

I started my purchase online which saved a bit of time with the purchase process, but it still took a few hours in the dealership. Bill Brown made the best of the time, showing me all the features of the car and helping me link my phone to ford pass. Norm helped me through the financing process, presenting all the warranty options in a professional manner without too much pressure which I appreciated. All around great service. I love my mustang mach-e!

This place is absolute trash, complete disaster. Still waiting on my call back from Mr. McGill from Tuesday, apparently his phones not working. Nick the service manager should go back to the garage, he should not be talking to customers. Lee Anne the customer service manager never followed up. Took 3 months to get an appointment, was told they couldn t diagnose our issues as they were understaffed at check in. Drove from Mammoth for this appointment, complete waste of time and money. Issues not resolved. Icing on the cake, we specifically asked for our summer tires back after winter tires were swapped, and they attempted to keep them. Never going back, Ford dealership model is a joke.
