Port of subs: Amazing place- great fresh food and the woman working was crushing it! Ensuring that each item was fresh and high quality before serving despite being the only one behind the counter. 10/10!

My son and I were on a road trip and ended up at the sandwich shop Port O Subs in Battle Mountain. Daniel was our sandwich maker, he was awesome. He was incredibly friendly and made sure he knew exactly what we wanted. He shaved the meat and cheese for our sandwiches in front of us and made ours exactly as ordered. I will definitely be coming back.

Am I on a road Trip I was looking for something delicious healthy and quick. I found port of subs in Battle Mountain and it hit the spot. The food was incredibly fresh they made it quickly and all the staff was incredibly friendly. I think I will make this my go to sandwich stop on the way to Reno.

I picked up a sandwich there while traveling. It was wrapped in the packaging and in a bag. When I opened it up, there was a huge fly that flew out. So...no lunch until Winnemucca. True story and yes there were flies in the restaurant when we ordered. How lucky were we to have a stow away?

If I am ever passing through this town again I will be sure to eat here. They slice the deli meat to order right infront of you. I would recommend Port OF Subs to anyone that is that is on I80 looking for food. Pass McDonald's and make your way to Port of Subs. Be prepared for it to take a few minutes longer than your average sub joint, because they will need that extra time to make your sub phenomenal.

Gross!! Not only was the person not wearing a mask (makes you wonder every other mandates they don't follow) the Mayo and veggies looked so awful! His excuse was it came frozen. he should've gone to the dang store and bought better. I've eaten Port of Subs my entire life, this place was GROSS.

I have a problem with the lady that works in the morning, I stopped in Battle mountain at the port of sub on my way to Salt lake. To my surprise the lady was rude. She was cutting bread and did not look at me, then said what do you want. I told her I wanted a breakfast sub with extra meat. I told her a egg and bacon sub small on wheat. she started running around like a chicken with her head cut off while talking about selling food to a lady who had just walked in . She did not ask me what bread I wanted. grabbed white, I told her I wanted a small wheat she through back the cut white grabbed the medium wheat bread. I told her I want a small wheat bread for my sandwich. she said oh. then goes to the microwave and takes out 2 strips of bacon and a container of egg , I again tell her i wanted double meat on my sub.! she reply's i cant put double meat on the breakfast sub. i ask why not you do on other sandwiches. she said she not suppose to. She started to wrap my sub, I told I want veggies she asked if I was sure. Of course I am sure its my sandwich. To top it all off she was slower than molasses in the middle of winter. I stop here at Port of subs every time i am going to and from Salt Lake. This older lady who had no name tag needs to learn better customer skills. She is not paying for my food I am. At least the other ladies who work the other shifts are not rude and I get what i ask for. The lady from the morning will not be making my sandwich ever again. I will not be stopping in the mornings any more, or will my wife and business partners.

I will not go into quick Mart. there is This crazy woman that always reads your numbers off of your receipt Tries to give you some sort of reading like a tarot reading or something .Says she's a ordained minister .She seems like she's on something .and is always talking about other workers and the owner and people in town .Not good for business that's for sure .

The ugliest, rude, no customer service and the two employees didn't know how to peak to us. No option for the type of bread, no questions how we wanted our sandwiches. Such an uncomfortable feeling, I felt like I was at a Trump rally. It was awful. I will never go there again.

I ordered the number one Italian sub and on the expensive Meats they gave not even enough to cover the whole sandwich and the meat was cut so thin you can see through it. They loaded up on lettuce and we're cheap with jalapenos and other expensive items. They are cutting corners every chance they get. I told him I just wanted water and they tried to charge me even though I wanted it for free out of the fountain.

Good place to stop for road trips. located in a low traffic town right of the freeway and next to a gas station. Food is good to boot! The firework museum down the road is also a neat place to check out if you have a couple off spare minutes.

Few choices in this town. The cheese was sliced so thin I could see through it. No kidding. If you like your sandwich mostly bread, eat up.

Both experiences with food in battle mountain have been pretty terrible. Port of subs was not fresh, and was not clean.

Its an interesting chain sub restaurant. They serve freshly sliced cheese and meat, on fresh bread.
