We have always stayed at Picketts on our way to and from Arizona several times and have always found the park to be clean, well maintained and owners and staff to be knowledgeable and friendly. This last trip, I feel needs a review because Ryan and his crew went above and beyond for us. I had lost our rv key (we were travelling in separate vehicles) and didn t realize this until we got to jackpot. When we called Ryan he immediately went to look for them and reported back. Apparently someone had placed them in the overnight box and was not discovered until the following day. Ryan called and emailed and then sent the keys to us. For all of those rv ers out there know and understand the stress that causes. We lucked out when we stayed there for sure.

If you need a easy off hwy 93, basic, affordable, long pull thru, that is 2 hours from Vegas and great fried chicken take out next door. This is your place. Well run and affordable. Excellent value

This place is great! We ve been through the area several times but never noticed it. This time though, we had a flat tire and needed a place to stay. It was Sunday afternoon but they found us a space even though we had no reservation. The next morning we learned that the local tire shop was closed and we had no options. The nice folks at the park fit us in for another night and we were able to locate a road service company to help us on Monday. The park is spacious and well maintained. The water, sewer, and electric connections are just where we needed to have them and the sites are relatively far apart by RV park standards. We had three service trucks from a local towing company taking up campsites for an hour but nobody complained. This is a very friendly and welcoming place to stay and very importantly, the WiFi is unusually robust. While we were there we realized that Alamo, NV is a very good waypoint to use when folks are heading to and from warm weather in the south. We will use that information in the future to plan our trips.

Brief Yet Comfortable. We stayed at this park on April 21st 2022.During our brief stop to explore the enigmatic realm of "Rachel, Nevada (Area 51)," this RV campground provided us with a hassle-free and comfortable stay. While our visit was only for a single night, it left us contemplating extending our stay had our plans allowed. The campground's staff welcomed us warmly, contributing to the positive experience right from the start. Our designated back-in site, while a tad cozy, proved to be navigable with a minor adjustment or two. The layout allowed for a snug fit, without detracting from our overall enjoyment. Our site was not a full-hook-up site, only provided power and water, it also included WiFi and Cable services, though we didn t find them necessary as we were there to explore the area around Rachel.Cleanliness was evidently a priority, as the restroom facilities were well maintained. Though a dedicated dog park was absent, the campground offered a well-maintained grassy area. All in all, the campground proved to be equipped with all the essentials required to ensure our brief stay was comfortable. We would stay at this park again if we were in the area.Unfortunately, since it was a fast trip, we didn't take any pictures of our spot. :(

Not the worst, not the best RV Park. Not the best place for big rigs, but if the right spots are open, it will work. For big rigs, let them know very clearly you need a pull through site with wide corners.Spaces are not really numbered, dedicate spaces, but rather more like a gravel lot with dedicated electrical posts. They do stack the middle area in tandem parking, so it's best you arrive early (and hopefully first) so you don't have to back in or work your way around parked vehicles. This place isn't all bad. In fact, I would say it is likely the best RV place on NV 93. It's quirky and busy because there aren't really many choices for big rigs in the NV desert boonies. The locals are very sweet and helpful. =)Food & drinks: The RV website said there is a Mexican restaurant within walking distance. It has been permanently closed since COVID. Only food for 100 miles is the nearby Great Basin Foods (grocery store) which has a little side grill. There is no bar in town =)

The lady is extremely nice! However their RV park set up is very tight, at first the spots look big then someone pulls next to you and you can't breathe that's why they have to help you pull in. The bathrooms and the laundry is very clean, the office has quarters for the wash. The small grocery shop/ gas station is right behind the RV park you can get to it via their bridge (can be slippery.) Their cable is good. The RV park is clean and small nothing fancy good for one night stay. There are areas where you can drive your atv close by on the mountains and they do have propane refills but not on Sunday. I would stay for one night but not longer than that I enjoyed my short stay wish I had more space. Btw the booms are from area 51 right over the mountain, nothing to worry about.

My older family member and I were traveling and needed a quick stop for the night. I tried to book online as no one answered the 3 times I called. When I booked the spot, the site replied (after taking cc info) that I would have to wait for a confirmation of my spot. (Within 72 hrs) we were on our that same day. I called a few more times and spoke with a nice lady who was very helpful. We got to the RV park around:730-8pm. and got checked in. The man in the office pushed a bunch of papers and demanded they be signed. When asked what was being signed, he said the rules and pushed the paper again. We were told to park anywhere for our pull through spot. While guiding my family member into the spot, the guy from the office (owner?) pulled up and started telling us how to park. Mind you, my family member is a retired bus driver of 30 years. Yet when she tried to tell the man how she needed to park to accommodate her 20 ft trailer. The man insisted and was rude, telling us how to park it. She tried telling him about her wrist injury, preventing the turn he was requesting. We drove around and reparked. By that time, he had left. When hooking up the electric, my family member got shocked and it burnt one of the terminals on the electric cord.We were able to get everything hooked up after.Overall, I would not recommend it. Simple enough for a one nighter, but there were a lot of undesirable individuals lurking around and we did not feel 100% safe. The pictures and most reviews had looked nice but our experience did not match

Didn't stay. When I called there was no room. Staff was not friendly on the phone and offered no help. When asked if there was anywhere else nearby answer was no and I was to just sleep on the side of the road. When we passed through the next day there was at least 1 motel that had rv parking and 2 roadside spots along with a campground just outside of town.UPDATEAfter travelling through this spring I was able to spend the night at Pickets. The sites are narrow. Had trouble positioning so I could get my slides out. Would not recommend if you have opposing slides. Staff was wonderful. They were very helpful and patient as I was setting up. After setting up I ended up assisting another traveller trying to get into his spot. Because of this the staff gave me a nice discount on my stay.

Nice little park just off the highway with large shade trees. The manager was very friendly and accommodating and was able to find us a spot with just a days notice. There is a little road noise as you're only a block off the freeway, but not bad. Park offers laundry and showers, but I think there's only one set of machines for laundry and the showers are a bathroom off the laundry room that consists of a sink, toilet and tub. We liked this park and would recommend it to others!

Stayed here with my parents and paid separately. The park itself was nice but not the office guy. The office was closed when we checked in so used there registration form and put cash inside. We left early in the morning and then the office guy called my mom when he got in and attempted to tell her he has us on camera and i never paid. My mom told him we dropped our envelope at the same time and we did pay and he kept threatening her with he has us on camera. Then he finally looked again and said oh I found it, maybe before you do a phone call you should check and you should have seen us on your camera out there with the registration papers filing them out. Never will stay here again and won't recommend it to anyone.

We stayed for 1 night on the way to Zion. Everything we needed was there and in the morning I walked across a walk way bridge to a small market to get some breakfast for us so we could have a easy clean up to get on the road. The staff was awesome and very friendly. We will go back.

Been a repeat customer here for the past few years, but today they lost my business. Not sure if a house fell on the man s sister or what, but he was beyond rude to us and the other party we were traveling with.Throwing his hands up in the air as we are trying to park, because we don t understand his flailing & gestures as we are pulling in?He used some swear words in his exchange with the other party.

Came in quite late, but very friendly & helpful. Helped guide us into spot. Came out early to fill propane that we also received Good Sam discount. Small all gravel park that was perfect for just an overnight stay.

Remember the majority of rv'ers pull in for one night on their way north or south. You couldn't find a nicer couple. They're the most helpful ever. It's a small park and it's their lively hood. The best!!!

This was our 5th or 6th time staying here. The owners and help are always friendly and helpful. The park is clean and reasonably priced. Pretty busy when the snowbirds are moving, so while it isn't required we tend to make a reservation to ensure a spot.

I didn't stay. I just took a quick shower, then back on th road. The shower was very clean, and neat. $7.00 is a really good price, that I don't think you can beat. Form what I saw the RV park looked perfect for short or long term stays. Close to groceries, gas, and laundry. It definitely on my radar for future visits.

Nice enough place for an overnight mostly because there s not much to do locally. Long pull thru was great for us. Owner/manager? Was very nice in welcoming us and helping us to our spot. All utilities worked fine. Did not use their bathroom not even sure if there was one. Laundry, which we did not use, was in a room off the office. Pretty low-key place. No amenities at all. View out the front window were permanent trailers and towards the back were some really ratty trailers and such yuk. At night, the grocery store behind had 2 reefer trucks running all night. Too bad, I was hoping for some country quiet. Easy to find just a block off the highway. Roomy between spots. Tiny grass area for the dog but lots of area to walk her. WiFi worked fine. Inexpensive.

It's a nice Lil rv park, the price is cheap, nice shaded area. The people here are really nice. We backed up our trailer had shade for most of the day and was right near a Lil bridge that leads to the store. There's a Lil creek. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed one night May 9, 2021 in a 26' RV. Gas station at corner was easy to get into and out of. We arrived after hours, but Juan saw us and helped us park in our pull thru site. Full hookups and they sell propane on site. The public bath/shower combos were very clean. When we were there, it was only about half full, but in high season, if all spots were full, it would be tight. We would stay here again.

Very clean and quiet, reasonably priced. They were accommodating when we needed to extend our stay. Their park assistant JUAN, was super! Market next door has a little of everything and fresh veggies , meat and bread.

The pull thru are good. but the back-in on the east side is back-up to a truck /store with gravel road going around the back. Some trucks spend the night on the road 40 feet behind you and run reefer all night. the road is really dusty and you are covered in dust. The spots are real close together . All the back-in campers that I talk to in three weeks said they wont return. I sleeped with ear plugs every night.
