Hands down the best car service repair in Omaha! After two frustrating trips to the dealership for brake issues with my Lincoln MKC, Randy and his team nailed it on the first try! My car was back in perfect condition the very next day. Zero issues, top-notch service. Highly recommend!

I received a a recommendation from a friend that I take my Lincoln Town Car to Auto Specialist Inc. Randy and his crew were professional and Courteous. Randy explained thoroughly what was wrong with my car, and what needed to be done to make things right. They found a issue with the interior lights that other's I took the car to couldn't. Now I have interior lights and the car it runs great. I would highly recommend that you take your vehicle to Auto Specialist Inc.....Services: Electrical, Engine repair

This is now my go-to mechanic. After lots of awful experiences elsewhere it's such a relief to find a trustworthy and thorough place. Had issues with starting and the car revving in idle. Took it to 2 other places (one being the dealership) and no one could find an issue and suggested a lot of services not needed that were pricey. Took my car here and they found that my make and model had this same issue consistently. So they not only did the diagnostic, they actually found the root of the problem and my car is running smooth!! Honest, helpful, thorough, friendly. Highly recommend. These guys were amazing! Were able to locate a hard to find part for my wife's jeep and got it installed pretty quickly. Randy was amazing to work with. Hands down the best auto repair I have EVER used. 1)They are honest and trustworthy, 2)They do not talk down to their customers (who may not have a clue about automobile operations); 3)They know what they re doing and do not hesitate to explain cheaper options for service, if there are any; 4)They will tell you if something does NOT need to be done; 5)Their prices are absolutely reasonable; 6)Their customer service is top-notch! I had a great experience with Randy and Auto Specialists. I hadn t found an auto shop to go to yet since moving to Omaha. I ended up calling Randy Friday morning after hearing of others speaking highly of the location. I could tell my right car brakes were most likely needing to be replaced. Randy was very kind and didn t promise any guarantees, but would try to get to my car that same day. I was ultimately able to get my car in just past noon and they were able to finish the repairs right at the end of the day. Tremendous service and very timely.Service: Brakes

First off, if you want to save yourself stress & money, avoid dealership mechanics. Go to a mechanic whose owner is an actual mechanic; a mechanic who is trustworthy, genuine, honest, reliable. Randy is THAT mechanic. An all-round, down to earth, good dude. If he ever retires, then I'm done driving, period.

I was told when we went to drop my car key off that they were a week out, which was no big deal, but they had my vehicle fixed in 2 days. They were very professional and thorough and went beyond my expectations to make sure they checked everything and the pricing blew my mind. I was fully expecting to pay anywhere from 2 to 3 thousand and with replacing the starter, a front u joint, and replacing the 4 wheel drive wires(which had been chewed through by rodents) it was just under 1 thousand to fix and I couldn't believe it! Super reasonable prices. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication to the customer! I would definitely recommend Auto Specialists to anyone needing vehicle repairs from now on! Auto specialists were great and reasonably priced. Randy was nice and explained things in a way that a mechanically challenged person like me could understand. Highly recommend.

Randy and his team provide excellent customer service and fair pricing for their auto work. My truck had some brake issues and even though they didn't have any availability to service for 3-4 weeks, Randy said swing on by, so he could take a look and hear what is going on. After a test drive and inspection the repairs were deemed time sensitive and he opened up his schedule to fit me in right away. The lot was packed with cars so I knew they were really busy. I will definitely be using Auto Specialist in the future for any needed service work, great people.Service: Brake service & repair

Fantastic customer service. I've been taking my car here for 2 years now and they always do a great job fixing it, giving me a good estimate on time to fix, and never going over their estimated price. Anything extra they find they call me first with and approval before starting any extra work.

First time ever writing one of these up, but these folks went above and beyond, so I am trying to give credit where it is due.I have had car trouble for months visiting numerous mechanics, around Omaha with no success. Skip everywhere else, these guys are the best.These guys are hardworking, competent, and most of all honest. I was informed every step of the way including pros and cons of different fixes, and multiple repairs we could undertake.The final cost even came slightly UNDER what I was initially quoted, because they were able to repair some parts they previously thought would have to be replaced.Additionally, kudos for excellent customer service. When I brought my car in, I was in a bit of an automotive emergency. Eric at the front desk said they were booked out for several days, but if I left my car, and by some miracle something happened he would see what they could do. Lo and behold I had my car the next day. Even if you have to wait a week, these guys are worth it because you can trust them. My car starter went out on Friday night. I had it towed to Auto Specialists on Saturday. I called Randy on Monday and asked if he could work it in because I did not have an appointment. I told him there was absolutely no hurry. He called me on Tuesday, it was the starter, it was fixed and done by 4 PM and Randy apologized for the delay. You will not find a nicer guy or a more honest shop in all of the city. They are the best!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Randy and his guys are the best mechanics out there!! Had an electrical issue with my 03 Pilot that 2 shops couldn't figure out, even the dealership had no idea where the problem was coming from . Took a couple visits and a circuit breaker, and Randy was able to find and fix the problem that no one else could! I will now only take my cars to Auto Specialists!

I was looking for a place to take my family vehicles...and decided on Auto Specialists due to all of the great reviews this place has gotten. And it surely didn't disappoint. :) Randy is super friendly! They found out what was wrong with my truck and it was better than I was expecting. They are fair and honest and down to earth good guys! So glad to say I have now found a place to take all of our family vehicles that I can trust! Thanks Auto Specialists!

I have an obscure vehicle make and model. My vehicle randomly shut down on me and would start but immediately die. Took it to my regular shop, they had it for 2 weeks calling all of their "specialists" and eventually quoted me for a new ECM for $2,000. Took it to auto specialists and within 2.5 hours of looking at it, it was completely fixed for under $300.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

These guys are amazing. I live out of state and my daughter goes to school in Omaha. When her car was having issues, we brought it here and Randy and his team took care of everything without any pressure to address unneeded services. They're honest, professional and timely. I only wish I could find a shop like this in my home town.

I took my car here to inspect a rattle on my front end. I scoured google for the best mechanics in Omaha, and this was consistently a top recommendation. Randy was very friendly and took the time to show me the problem and how they were going to fix it, without making me feel inept. The service was top notch and the pricing is very fair. I will be taking my car and my wife's car here for any issues we have.

I've been going to Auto Specialists since I was a teenager. My Uncle told me they were a reliable place that did honest work. I've occasionally gone to other shops and regretted it every time. Now I won't go anywhere else. They do great work, are very friendly, and won't jerk you around or treat you like you're below them because you don't know anything about cars.There's usually a wait to get your car looked at, but there's a reason for that... I've gone to Randy and the guys for about 15 years now. Even when we had moved about 45 minutes and two towns away. Excellent service and they always do a great job on my car. When I have an emergency, Randy always gets me in pretty quick. I've always felt like I've gotten a decent deal with his techs. I even go to him for all my tires and my oil changes.

I have taken a few cars here over the years, and they gave the same high quality care to my beaters, that they have to my Subaru for the last 17 years. They do great work, for reasonable prices. Randy is great to work with, and they usually get me in fairly quickly, depending on what I need done and the availability of the parts. Prices are reasonable. Fast, friendly, honest. My sister came here and paid more than she'd hoped for repairs - and they called her back to let her know she'd actually been overcharged. They refunded her without being asked. They're not pushy about extra services or unnecessary repairs, they're extremely knowledgeable, and they are NOT condescending - which can be rare in this business. I felt appreciated and respected the entire time I was there and I will absolutely be returning with any and all auto requests. Great people, great business.

Took my car in because another place said I needed new tires, shocks, and struts. That seemed fishy to me, as my car only has 50k miles. Auto Specialists agreed on the two back tires needing to be replaced, but found that the suspension was fine. What it really needed was a realignment. Now it rides smoother and quieter than I thought it could. On top of that, Randy is maybe one of the friendliest car guys out there.
