I was not informed beforehand that I was going to be charged $140 for a diagnostic test. This is a lot of money for something I wasn't expecting.However, the employees were all extremely nice and i appreciated how fast they got my car in.

This is the place you want to go in Sarpy County to have your car worked on. They will take care of you and make you feel welcome not like other places that just want to rip you off and not show you their work. Best mechanic shop in Sarpy County!!

We have been very pleased with the service provided at Amtech. They are able to get our car in for service quickly. We feel that they take care of our needs without trying to upsell. The staff is very professional and friendly.

Gary saved us! On the first leg of a CO - NH road trip, our check engine light came on. Amtech was able to fit us in quickly and provide thorough service. Luckily it was something that could wait until our destination, but gave us such an ease of mind. Honestly wish they could be our regular car mechanic.

Limped into Omaha without A/C the past 100 miles coming east along I-80. Almost Memorial Day and need help fast. Family member recommended Amtech and they agree to try to help. Left my 2007 Ram diesel truck and they immediately began diagnosis. Even provided a loaner car ( a good one!). Thought we d be without our truck until early June, but got a call late afternoon the job was done. It sure was and that s the coldest the a/c has been in some time. Extremely friendly, courteous staff and great service.Service: Air conditioning

I took my car in to have them check the battery. It tested bad. AmTech replaced the battery that same day. Great service.

Gary has been the primary tech for all my vehicles for the last 4 years. Gives fair prices for great work done and will be honest when a repair is not cost effective for the car at hand. Gary & the rest of the crew at AmTech are Awesome! I brought my 96 Ram pickup in for oil change & to fix some engine noises. They quoted me worse case scenario & then found one of the items was not the cause of the noise and it cut my total in half! I love how honest & knowledgeable they are. I don't worry when we take our vehicles here. I gladly drive an hour from home to AmTech because they do a great job.Service: Oil change

I made an appointment for what sounded like metal rubbing against my car when I made a right turn. When I arrived a Gary, the owner asked me to take him for a test drive to hear what I heard. I was surprised very rarely am I asked to go on a test drive. Anyway, during the drive, he was able to sum up what he thought was the problem right away. When we got back one of his techs had my vehicle fixed in about 20 minutes. I asked how much was the damage, and he was said it was on them. To sum it up, AMTECH was, courteous, professional, and service oriented. They will be at the top of my list the next time I have car trouble.Service: Brakes

Amtech saved us in a pinch! Our daughter drove home from Wisconsin and in the worst of conditions her engine light went on. She was able to pull off, get it looked at and get reassured she should make it here but would need service -over the Christmas holiday -good luck!!! We had good luck in the name of Amtech. Their team stepped up, gave us honest, reliable service and we couldn t be more grateful. A five star rating when the concern is for your daughter isn t enough. Very informative and thorough. They found issues I didn't know I had as well as recommending routine maintenance. The main reason we went was an idler pulley completely snapped off. They were honest about the potential issues (not being able to get the bolt out of the engine block) and still managed to fix it. They got my car back on the road and it drives better than ever. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a mechanic and will be taking my daughters car there for a few issues. I am definitely a happy customer!

I have a 2004 Silverado with 262000 miles on it. I had a flashing check engine light. After looking it up on line, I took my truck to Amtech. They found the issue and took care of some other issues I was having. They got all repairs done quickly and the truck runs great!! I is ready for winter. I had a quick and efficient service, I had my car in one day, driving it home the next. I was definitely not disappointed. The Manager Matt Seuss explained what I needed to get done on my old vehicle and also told me issues that other people had on the same vehicle. His vehicle knowledge and customer service skills are excellent. I have been to many auto repair shops and just felt my name was what my vehicle is: Gray Chevy Truck or Blue Jeep. I was treated like family at Amtech auto care.

Very friendly and honest. Was recommended by family and can totally see why they did. They don't try to push you to do more than what's necessary for the vehicle and will only do recommendations on future repairs. They are not overly expensive either.

I've used this mechanic for a few years, after they were recommended to me by a friend. For me the difficulty with mechanics is having any confidence I'm not being scammed, since I basically know little about how my vehicle actually works. These guys seem fair to me. They tell me what's wrong with my vehicle and what needs to be done now versus things that aren't critical and can wait. (I've been to mechanics where everything is an emergency and the least expensive thing is $1000...these guys don't run that kind of operation). I would and do recommend them.

Horrible!! Overly priced to be honest! They'll charge you an arm and a leg for something simple. Never returning and they gave me a 24 dollar "gift card" for an oil change as courtesy. Make sure you shop around for prices before going to this place. Must of been a slow day or something for me to get billed close to a grand for something simple.

First visit. Found and fixed problem same day, without an appointment. Courteous and efficient are rare to find in mechanics, but you will find both here. Fair pricing as well. I do recommend calling for an appointment as they seem like a popular place to have service done. Overall a great experience.
