Josh & Matt are awesome to work with! Easiest car buying experience I've ever had. After dealing with the big dealerships in town, this was a very pleasant and stress free purchase. Got a great truck way below prices at bigger spots, and no hassles! Will definitely return, and recommend to friends & family!

Terrible experience with this place. Buying process was great. Mike and manager were so friendly and helpful. My first issue was when we went back to discuss purchasing, we were running short on time so we said we d come back Monday. Mike said no no it will only take 10 mins top for signing papers and whatnot . We ended up being 30 minutes late to our next obligation because it did not take 10 mins tops . Then 2 days after purchasing the car, it broke down on the side of the road. Called them back up and let them know. They said we had our guy and another mechanic do a look over and everything checked out. We had this and that replaced and checked out and nothing was wrong . Eventually after enough calls and telling them how upset we were, they offered to pay for the issue and that they d include it in our check that was coming anyways for our car we traded. That check took about 3.5 weeks to come (3 days before the in transits expired). Day of the in transits expired, we tried to register the new car and the dmv didn t have the title for the car yet. Because the dealership just sent it 2 days ago. So they don t have it yet. So now I can t drive my car because it s expired. On top of that, it s making a knocking noise now that we can t figure out where it s coming from. Overall terrible experience with this place and I do not recommend purchasing from them. I don t think they do their due diligence when selling or after a sale. It shouldn t take almost a month to get a check or title on the car. That should be taken care of immediately after you sell a vehicle. If I could just return the car, I would. And buy from somewhere else.

Excellent and stress free buying experience! Vehicle selection was very good, transparent on vehicle history/condition, and up front on any questions I had. Would highly recommend for a reasonably priced used vehicle.

These guys are awesome! I worked with Josh on my new Truck and he is seriously one of the nicest and straightforward car salesman I have ever worked with. We had a slightly complex situation with my old car and he come up with some great options that really helped us out even though it didn't a lot for him. My wife will be buying a new car soon and we will 100% go through them. I've worked with big dealers before and this experience was far and beyond better. I saved a lot of money by not buying from the larger corporate car dealers in town. By far the best auto buying experience I've ever had. Josh has a no pressure attitude, gave me a fair value for my trade-in, and made my purchase an easy and enjoyable transaction. Would highly recommend purchasing from American Auto Mart!

Great car buying experience! No hassle, no pressure, and financing was a breeze. Josh was easy to work with as was the financing dept. They have a great selection of quality vehicles...not the typical junk you see at small car lots. Forget the big guys...check this place out!

We just purchased a vehicle through Josh at American Auto Mart and had a great experience! He was great to work with and didn t pressure us at all. He was relatable to our family and our vehicle needs. We liked the dealership because it had more of a laid back atmosphere and they didn t feel like the typical car salesman who just want a sale, no matter if it s the right fit for you or not! We would highly recommend going there for your vehicle needs!!

This was by far the easiest dealership I ve ever dealt with! No pushy salesman and they gave us a good price up front on our trade in! They worked quickly with us to get us the best deal possible! I was skeptical when I seen this dealership on cargurus but when we got there I was very surprised to see that this place isn t an ordinary used car dealership! They have nice quality rigs unlike most used car dealers which have rusted old rigs!! Highly recommend this dealership!

We worked with Matt for my wife's car. There price was already the best among other dealers for the same model, given everything else is same. We got good value for our trade and the entire process was smooth. I recommend them for used cars.

Salesman was very nice and the experience was low pressure. We talked about what cars I liked and what my family needs, and Josh pointed me towards the vehicle we bought. We got a good deal and so far I love the car. Will buy from them again.

Matt was very professional, matter-of-fact, and no pressure. I had shopped nation-wide for my truck since fall of 2018 and was able to get exactly what I was looking for at a very fair price through Matt right here in Omaha! I would definitely buy from them again in the future.

Great experience. The staff was genuinely helpful and the entire purchasing process was efficient. Felt more of a personal car buying experience than have had in the past. All of their vehicles seemed to be in good condition and the indoor showroom was a nice bonus to being able to clearly review the condition of the vehicle. Will definitely give them a shot at my future business as well!

We really enjoyed our buying experience. The dealership building is quite unique, with what we learned from the team, a very interesting history. A little off the beaten path and very worth discovering. The staff had the vehicle we were wanting to look at right up in front of the building on display, and ready to go. The ease and peace of mind they demonstrated made for the most relaxing car buying experience of my life. They have a great inventory and you can tell they truly enjoy what they do. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and will be a return customer, whenever I am back in the market. Oh, and I love my new car! Runs like a dream.

Really pain free experience dealing with these folks. Very friendly and accommodating. Probably the easiest experience I've had purchasing a vehicle. Well worth my 9 hour round trip. Will definitely be doing business again in the future.

Just bought a 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport from American Auto Mart who recently changed locations in Omaha. Matt was patient as I compared this vehicle with a 2019 Tacoma offer from the dealership and provided a low stress environment, working with me to get the price where I needed it. Test drive was solo so you could focus on how the car handled and the visibility it provided. Decided against my trade-in 2004 Nissan Frontier 2.4L 4cyl with 101K. The price difference between trade-in value and private party sale was just too far apart on KBB, so this was expected. Only thing that could have been improved was offering a full tank of gas and a car wash out the door. Great experience overall and I appreciated the help in getting the truck I wanted.

I was let down this week by my dealings with this place. I was told the truck I was looking at was in great condition. I asked if it had any dents or defects and was told no. So I made a 3 hour drive up there to test drive it and see. It was not as described. Dents in the bed, bad touch up painting and 2 quarter sized cracks in the windshield (needs replaced in my opinion). They failed to even noticed there was not a spare tire under the bed. Needless to say, I did not buy the truck and left very disapointed.
