I was driving on fumes. I tried to get gas and I had a frozen locking gas cap, and the key broke off, and I got it off with channel locks. I went here to buy a regular gas cap. Forgot to take a photo, but I will tomorrow. No problem got the right one. The guy behind the counter had me make sure it fit..The way its suppose to go..thats about it bye

Asked a worker there to come out with his computer and find out why my check engine light was on. Instead of going back into the store after he used the computer and had the numbers to print off the answers he told me to take a picture of the numbers on the device, look up something on Google and find out for myself. My mechanic came did the same thing only he told me what could be wrong. Bad employee ..

If I didn t really want to buy a Diehard battery, I would never set foot in an Advance Auto again after my horrible experience I had at the store on L Street. But, regardless, I decided to try the store and 24th. I walked in, 2 employees behind the counter no hello no welcome to Advane Auto nothing! I stood in front of the man who seemed to be busy with something on the computer. So, I gave him a few minutes and he didn t even acknowledge my existence. Then I stood there for several more minutes and I stared at him from 4 feet away and he refused to even look at me! How hard is it to say, I ll be with you in a minute??? Obviously, I walked out! Hire better people!!!!

Very satisfied with this parts store. Manager located a part for me that was kind of hard to find. Very knowledgeable and professional.

To say that this was an unimpressive experience would be an understatement.I ordered my parts online, in order to save 15%. Their website shows that this store has plenty of everything I ordered, so all is well. Until I get to the store. That's when I find out that what I ordered is completely out of stock. Even though their website still shows everything in stock.The kid at the counter clearly has no clue what to do, and the manager's response was a flippant, "Yeah that's always off. You have to call the store first."No. Actually I don't have to call the store first. And won't. There are lots of other places to buy parts, so that's what I'll be doing.*Edit: Spare me the computer-generated response below, that says nothing and doesn't include any contact information.

These guys helped me out when no one else would! Ward got my battery installed no problem and Mike got me a great deal on an extended warranty. Definitely first pick of auto stores on 24th st!

There's only ever one person inside. To get anything in here always takes way too long. Shouldn't take 30 minutes to just get to a register. Have one guy for people who are ready and one for people who have questions. Isn't that hard.

Advance has really dropped the ball at this store. Almost no staff and the few that are there always give you the wrong parts. Showed up today to pick up a thermostat and the store was closed at 12pm! Few weeks ago I came to the store to purchase some oil and I walked in to, two employees arguing and not cashing out customers! Like come on!

Very helpful and nice staff. Came in with absolutely no idea what I was doing and the man who helped me was very patient and showed me how to replace my battery with no charge. Definitely will come again!

I get that auto parts stores get very busy. Something has to change though for the wait times at this location. I stopped here to buy a new light bulb for my motorcycle tail light. Looked like I was gonna have to wait at least 20 minutes to buy it. I gave up after 5 minutes and left without my purchase. It would make more sense to me if someone was running the cash register at all times. They never seem to want to do this at this store.

Best and fast place to go they highly respected people with disabilities my wife is blind and they pushed us to the front of the line moved fast and made sure we didn't have to return they did a triple check on all the parts and code to make sure that everything was right then they gave her a military discount way to stay on top of things with the ADA LAWS

Purchased a 5 quart jug of Pennzoil 5W30 on March 19, 2022 at around 12:30 PM. The Hispanic male was extremely rude. After my credit card approved he barked "Take it out!" Didn't say a word after that. Then practically threw the receipt at me. Last time I go to that place.

The staff were great and very helpful, The problem was that the scan rang up my oil at $11.49 per quarter, It was $9.99 per quarter, Unfortunately because of the system Advanced Auto uses I had to stand there for 26 Mins while the manager tried everything under the sun to give me a refund, absolutely ridiculous I should have to waste my time on nonsense like that not to mention tying up a manager for that long

No one ever answers the phone here they constantly have signs on the door I ve come here multiple times when they re supposed to be open and no one is here and the door is locked day I am here to get my package and there s a sign on the door once again saying there at lunch but the store hours are 7:30 AM to 9 PM and there is people inside working but the door is locked

Not helpful at all just want your moneyI needed a new battery was told it would cost 180.00 dollars ok no problem they said they said they would install until they saw my battery wasn't located under the hood. Then they said no but I could still buy the battery. Terrible customer service.

I only goto advanced auto for anything I need they are helpful and they actually know what they are talking about, great employees and a great manager

Would not let me use the restroom to wash hands. Best practices to keep people from getting Covid is good hygiene sooo yeah.... employees need more training don t even know how to use a ratchet. So I had to replace my battery the myself hence needed to wash my hands... offered me a dry rag doesn t do a lot of good washing way grease and Germs...

I bought a portable power station and not meaning to my kids lost the paper receipt but I paid by card and not cash. but I i didnt need it, they wont take it back. idk why but its s not nice

The cashiers are friendly and helpful. I didn't know which engine oil that I had needed for my truck. And they were able to help me figure all out

Went there in the middle of an ice storm, needed a new gas cap and wipers. The guy came out and changed my wipers for me while being pelted with little ice balls. Great service! Thanks!
