Rude staffing, Every time (2) times they didn't have what I needed after calling them beforehand I had to get my battery car Quest and the other part across the street O'REILLY'S. They're not busy so no excuse to lie to me on the phone, waste time, gas. Staff has zero knowledge about car parts or correct parts prices.

I was in the #2213 store (North 90th Street, Omaha, NE) on Wednesday, January 24, 2023, for assistance with my brake lights being out. I walked in to ask someone to help me confirm whether one or both lights were out, and Mario came outside to help. When he realized both lights were out, we decided to troubleshoot by first changing the bulbs. He removed a bulb and help me find and purchase replacements. He then changed a bulb for me to see if that did the trick. Unfortunately, it did not, but Mario did all of this having just clocked off for the day. He was extremely helpful, and I sincerely appreciate the service and assistance he provided. THANKS, MARIO!

I've worked customer service for many many years and I don't often put in reviews in for places, but the service was so bad here that I must. Walked in and there was no one to be seen working the counter. There was another customer there waiting to be helped, but he walked out since nobody bothered to help. There was even an older gentleman in back putting away parts that looked at the both of us and then went right back to what he was doing, without letting someone else that worked there know that people were waiting. Finally, after the other customer left, I raised my voice asking if there was anyone there. A little old man came over and finally tried to assist me. The reason I was there was to find out if I was having a battery or alternator issue. We went to my car that I had left running, and it was dead. He climbed in my car to try turning it back on but it was totally dead. He couldn't even get my keys out of the ignition. I told him that some times you have to pull on the steering wheel a little to get them out. He still couldn't get them out. I was afraid he was going to break my key off. Finally we went back in and one of the main guys helped me. He took his diagnostic tool which said it was a battery issue, so I went ahead and bought the $250 battery. Had to wait for another guy to install it. When he finally came to help, we went out and I asked if it needed to be retested to make sure it wasn't an alternator issue. He said they usually don't but they could. I turned on the car as instructed and my battery light was still on and the car was shuttering. He's then went over to help the older man that helped me originally who was helping a lady in the car next to me. I told him it was still having issues and they both said it was the alternator. They both went back to helping the other lady and ignored me, then went back into the store. No attempt to help me further. I would have been willing to check into pricing of a new alternator, but not after spending that much money just to be dismissed. Overall bad customer service.

Staff was helpful and knows how to help the customer troubleshoot parts and theorize solutions even if it's outside of shops ability to fix.

Mario gave excellent customer service right as I walked in. He helped me find the best, cost efficient way to get my car battery changed. Hands down would go here again to get parts for my car & get great customer service.

Lance saved me over 200 dollars on an air filter. We were looking at parts for an air filter and Lance approached us and told us there was a cleaning kit to clean the filter itself. We tried the kit and the filter is as good as new. My truck is in excellent condition new. Instead of taking advantage of my money and selling me a part I didn t need, he saved me money. 10/10 would recommend, will be a returning customer.

A man in the store today couldn't help me figure out the parts I needed so I decided to go elsewhere he followed me to the parking lot and swore at me then stood at the door scowling and threatening me. I'm absolutely going to report this to corporate.Response to owner: no sir, I won't go to an establishment that employs explosive and dangerous people. That fellow is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Good luck with that.

Excellent service, great selection, and good prices. Open throughout the week with great hours allowing the public time to shop and work whether morning, noon, or evening. Been a customer for over 30 years. They ve helped us fix, maintain, or build dozens of vehicles.Always the first auto store I go to.

Employees are mostly very pleasant and helpful. However, if there are more than 3 or 4 people waiting to pay for their items, the wait can be exhausting. Also, there is one older female employee that really should be working somewhere else. Auto parts is not her forte.

Jess and Lance are the best people at this store never have a issues with them.... They know there stuff and is always willing to help when I go there or call the store

This store is so out-dated and filthy. The staff has gone way down hill in terms of knowledge and customer service skills all while the prices have sky-rocketed! Its so bad I won't even come dump my used oil here for free anymore. This store needs lots of help... This store was better when Todd L. was the manager. The store aesthetically, was still in shambles but the employees were more knowledgeable and personable.

Nothing worse than being told you are too busy for customers. I have been told that I can drop off a starter,alternator,or battery and come back later when they were slower or wait while other customers were helped but today I was refused service. Crazy how oreilly across the street is never too busy. Worth paying a little extra. DONT waste your time with these lazy guys at advance and go to oreilly. Had bad experience with attached shop. Shady,lazy employees!!!!!

I only gave it one star because I had to select something. If there was an option I wouldn t give it a star at all. Went in there to have my alternator tested and to get a new one but was told we re to busy to help you . Isn t that what makes you busy, your customers and there services needed done?? Absolutely the worst experience I ve gotten at an auto part store in my life. Went across the street to O Reilly Auto parts had my alternator tested and spent 300$ while I was there. I will never go to advanced auto again.

My battery died at 8pm. I called the N 90th location to see if they had a battery & could install it -yep! I got there right away, Mario got the battery for me & installed it lickity split.He was fun to talk to while he installed it & obviously knew what he was doing. I was headed back home by 8:30. HIGHLY recommend!! Thank you, Mario!!

In this area of town, one of the better car parts places. Dependably helpful staff and well stocked with most any domestic car parts. Have been here many many times. Great location, easy in and out! I'd give it five stars if they had just a bit better tool section and paint services.

The guys at the North 90th location highly impressed me last week when i made an online order and the system was having issues and my order wasnt showing up. I did not get the gentlemans name but they were crazy busy to begin with and he made some calls while handling other customers and got it taken care of for me and that earned my respect and business going forward. Thanks guys.

Went in to get a battery replaced and became skeptical when it became a 20+ minute ordeal then had to go in to have someone double check posts were connected on correct sides. Have been having issues since and recently found the leads were not connected securely and now dealing with them to try to get something fixed with rude service.

The employees are very friendly and try to be helpful, however 7 out of ten times going there to get a part or oil filter or brake pads, I was given the wrong part and had to go back to get the correct ones

Location is always helpful and has had almost any part I've needed. Staff even helps me when I take up time with odd questions. They're my favorite location in Omaha. Being centrally located helps a bit as well.

I m not a guy that usually bothers with reviews, but this warranted an exception. I ordered a master clutch cylinder for my 2002 BMW 325XI. I skipped Amazon Prime because they said they could have it the next day. They said they d call me when it was in. They didn t. 4 days later I called. It was in and had been for a couple days. So I drove to the store and found a really nice clutch slave cylinder. Not a master. I m sorry, but if your employees don t know the difference, I see no reason to waste my time with your company.

Vast selection with knowledgeable staff. I try to get all my parts at Advance Auto. Very seldom do I run into a situation where they don't have the part. They've even marched the price from competitor's.

I stopped in today over my lunch today due to "service engine soon" light being on. They determined I had a bad fuse that prevented them from hooking up the reader so they hunted down the right fuse (took some research and two employees). They changed my fuse and then read the code for me. I asked what I owe for the fuse. "Nothing", he said kindly. I appreciate them taking the time and helping me out! (this was after a stop at the auto parts store up the street saying they don't do this and they basically told me it was silly for me to be asking for this). I always get parts from Advance and I wil definitely continue. By the way, I didn't have an appointment but they made time for me. Thank you, Advance Auto Parts on N. 90th!
