Engine light was on our Range Rover.Not alot of repair shops service Land Rovers here in Lincoln.The Auto Connection does and they ran a full diagnostic on ours and all is good.The shop is clean, orderly and the service was beyond our expectations!We highly recommend these guys and will be servicing both our Rover and our Mercedes-Benz here from now on.Big thanks to the friendly and competent staff at The Auto Connection!You won t be disappointed!

I looked all over Lincoln to find a better repair shop but every one of them is as pricey as the other ones. I was thinking of going to another state but then my friend came and was recommended to try this place. And this is what you need to know about this place. Fast workers, cheap labor and the service is much better than any other shop that I have been too. I would always pick this shop for any repairs. Thank you!

This location was supposed to be my favorite but soon it turned to a nightmare. I took my car to the them for diagnosis on an issue on AC and fan. I was told it is resistance and blow motor and that they are dead. I was charged $450 for just that wrong diagnosis. I took it later to the dealer it turned out the car has no resistor for the AC and the blow motor was in good working condition. These guys told me they would replace it for $1200. So if I listened to them I would have lost more than $$2000 for nothing and they would have excused for a different reason. So disappointing experience with not knowing and charging people. Very very disappointed

i had a smell coming from the vents of my car and took it to Ato Zone to have the codes read.The code said the O2 sensor was not working. I bought the O2 sensor and the clerk said that Auto Connection was reasonable and not very pricey.I took my car to them with the O2 sensor that costed 60 dollars and That Auto connection would put it in for 102 and then he came back saying that it was this line that went from the O2 sensor to another part of my car. For a 20 dollar part cost me 200.I left and a few days later I smelled gas again coming from outside of my car and was terrified of driving it. Took it back and he looked at it and said it was a part that would cost 700 dollars to fix.Very very upset and so I took it to my ex-husband that has worked on cars and he found a small plug that connected to a part that was leaking. Not sure why Auto Connection was telling me I needed a whole new gas line and my ex finding the problem easily, I am assuming that I think Auto Connection disconnected the plug for more money.Now my car runs great. No starting problems and no more smell of gas and not out of 700 dollars.DO NOT TAKE YOU CAR THERE. NOT WORTH THE RISK OR THE MONEY!!!!!!!u!!!.

The auto connection. They are honest mechanics who you can trust who are reliable and will not cut. Cut any corners and have the best prices in Lincoln. I would definitely recommend their repair shop for the auto connection.

Excellent service and very courteous about their business. I needed a battery terminal replaced and they were the only place I found that was able to get me in the next morning so I didn't have to miss any work later that day. They explained what it would cost and asked me if I would like them to contact me before doing any work just to double check and make sure everything was still sounding good on price once they had a better understanding of the work needed done. They also gave me a heads up that the replacement part I brought was not the correct size but they had a very affordable replacement ready to go.All in all, a great automotive service experience and I will be using them in the future for my mechanic needs.Services: Auto battery maintenance, Battery

Service very good as always. Asked service technician about my kia being a little slow on acceleration and he gave me a few suggestions to try to help. And the 1st one worked. (Use current tank of fuel down near empty and then fill with Premium unleaded (no ethanol). And then run the tank down. Acceleration picked up in less than 1/4 of a tank.) I would call that Good Comsturmer Care. Thanks.

My nephew and I took a car that I was interested in buying to The Auto Center for a pre-purchase inspection. They did the test drive and the inspection, and everything seems fine (I test drive this car the day before and it seems good). The Auto Center told me and showed me the inspection report of what pass the test and what didn t. It seems like almost everything passes the test and there were a few items that didn t pass the test, one of those things being the ant-freeze/coolant. They told me that the car was low on coolant and that there was a leakage due to the coolant cap being loose. I was unaware of all of this when I took the car in so I told them I will let the owner know when I return the car. Almost 3 mins to the car owner s house, the car started hesitating and jerking in the middle of the road, I try to make it go but it won t, so I put my emergency signal on and slowly enter a Walgreens parking lot. The owner got worried and contracted me to know what was taking so long because I told him I was on my way to return the car. I told him what happened. He and his guests came to help. He was mad and thought I tried to damage his car. I told him what The Auto Center me about the coolant being low and that made him even mad. He said why did they allow me to leave the shop with the car having low coolant. We were all in a panic and I was extremely worried that the car was damage. I tried looking online for answers. I find out that driving a car while the coolant is low is very dangerous and that the car could stop in the middle of the road which is what happened. By the time I find out this information it was already too late. I wish The Auto Center told me how dangerous it is driving on low coolant, if I knew this I won t I have driven the car and will have contracted the car owner right away to ask him to bring coolant and what happened that night could have been avoided.Reply to The Auto Connection: You did notify me of the cap being loose which I stated in my review, but you didn't ask me if you could top of the coolant neither did you inform me of the danger of driving on low coolant. If I knew toping the coolant was an option, I would have agreed to it.

many years ago we went to them and they made an amazing gesture of kindness that stuck with us a long time. 20 years later, I went to them for repairs and they found issues that a different company "repaired" and was not done properly. honesty and integrity go a long way.

I had my car towed there because it is one of the two AAA "approved" places in Lincoln. My car was struggling to accelerate and kept dying. They kept my car for two days, said I needed a new ignition switch & was charged $850. When I got the car back, it started repeating what it was doing before. I took it back first thing after labor day weekend. Later that afternoon, I received a call from their front desk stating they needed more time to diagnose. I reminded them the car had the same problems it did when I brought it to them the week before. "Uh, no" the technician told me, "That was for something else.Later, I was told my transmission needed to be replaced. I was told I could have them get one from a junk yard for $3k or a new one with a year guarantee for $3250. I decided to take the car elsewhere.That shop got my car running after replacing the transmission fluid. It took 3 hours, I was charged less than $200 & I have had no problems with the car since then.I have recommended the second shop to coworkers and family members & I will not go back to The Auto Connection for any auto services again.

I had my windshield replaced last week and these guys went above and beyond merely replacing the windshield. They scraped off my 2023 game and parks sticker and put it on my new windshield. They also touched up paint around the windshield that was missing when I bought the car used. They were pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend this place for all your car needs.

Our unplanned side quest for the day we were heading back to Texas when all of a sudden the steering got very stiff, battery light came on, and the heater stopped working. Managed to loop back around to Lincoln. Turns out the the belt tensioner seized up. Which caused a pulley to lock up and burn through the belt. Later found out this also attacked the Idler pulley.Owner of the shop went above and beyond. He found the part an hour away, sent an employee to go get it and is still working on our van after hours so we can get back on the road. He also took time to explain what went wrong, how it effected everything else and why. Not to mention they have been very kind and engaging with the kiddos. I can t explain how grateful I am for Pete and his amazing employees!!

I recently had two pre-purchase inspections done with Auto Connection.The first car they inspected was in great condition overall, giving me confidence in my potential purchase.However, it was the second car where they truly shined. They uncovered significant issues, and I'm grateful for their honesty and transparency. They took the time to show and explain the problems to me and provided a detailed report, ensuring I made an informed decision.In addition to the inspections, I also bought a car from them. It was in perfect shape and reasonably priced. The tire pressure sensors stopped working shortly after the purchase. However, they promptly replaced them at no cost.I won't hesitate to return to them for all my future car needs.

My battery died at a gas station and I had to have it towed home by another company. I was able to get it towed to The Auto Connection the following morning. Everybody was so incredibly friendly and the communication was AMAZING from drop off to pick up! I never had a doubt about the quality of service - and I never even stepped foot inside. Everything was done over the phone. As a single mother, I rely on my vehicle for many things. The service was quick, affordable, friendly, and all around amazing. Went for the first time 9 months ago and they did amazing job fixing my 2004 dodge sprinter alternator. Went back again last month with same vehicle to get a injector bolt drilled out and said the whole process will cost $4700, which forced me to order new cylinder head and other parts needed.Took them 3 weeks to replace it.I had to call them several time to check on the process and sometimes they said "Pete is gonna call you back" but never did.Went today to pick up the vehicle but it had check engine light and vehicle is in a limp mode. My vehicle didnt had check engine light nor being in limp mode going in there.Also to mention now it leaks oil alot. I wonder what kind of a shop giving out vehicle being in limp mode and leaks oil.Poor in communication and they are not always straightforward. Would have rated zero is possible.

Being from out of town I was lost when finding a place to get major work done on my car. I took a recommendation from my AAA driver to go to The Auto Connection. They treated me well and were upfront with me on cost and due dates. Had my car back in 3 short days after dropping it off!

Very nice staff. Great place! We would highly recommend!The plastic cover that covers the undercarriage of my car somehow became loose and was hanging an inch from the ground. Two women, not from Lincoln, and not sure who to go to. We started googling repair shops. We saw The Auto Connection was voted one of the top three auto repair shops in Lincoln, so we called them! They fit us in right away, we were on the road again within 15 minutes, AND they didn't even charge us! Simply said "Happy New Year!" We will definitely be going to The Auto Connection if we find ourselves stranded in Lincoln again!Service: General repairs & maintenance

If I could put 0 stars I would, this shop gave me the run around and no answers! Took my vehicle to different shop and they fixed problem with no run around. Very disappointed in the communication, and overall service!!!

I saw their website and read all I could find about what they could do.I sent a message through their website with a picture of the car problem and within minutes I got a call from a lady in their office and she knew what she was looking at and she was so nice. She set things in motion immediately. This was on a Friday not to mention. After they picked up and towed the car to their shop the whole process of inspections and replacements seemed quick and the ladies let me know what was found and the cost of fixing it. Pete and the whole crew have made this the best dealing with a mechanic shop I had ever had. The car is doing great. Great job from the first call you all deserve 10 stars in my book. I am so happy to have found The Auto Connection! The staff is very friendly and they listen. Pete and Gavin took care of a turbo coolant fitting replacement on my 2012 F-150, and they did a fantastic job. The communication was phenomenal, and they always kept us updated on what they were figuring out and when they were estimating it would be done. Great experience, I highly recommend The Auto Connection!

Lack of communication with each other and customers. Told my brother his total would be a different price on the phone and then when we get there, it's ALOT more than they said it would be. Then when it was time to pay they wouldn't take the full amount from his card and told him to call his bank for such a hastle. So I ended up paying the rest so we wouldn't have to come back A THIRD TIME to get the car. First and last time coming here.UPDATE AND RESPONSE TO OWNER: You still suck and I will be spreading the word :')
