This place is great!! Great customer service, great support team, and even great mechanics, if you need your car fixed and worried about all these stories that mechanics do this place will defy those feelings and give you great service through and through. Hence I was one of the people whose car didn't work after going to Jenson auto. Don't go anywhere else but here. They will treat you right!!

My 2016 Chevy pickup had a injector error code. I was expecting to have to replace the injectors. Southside found a rodent had damaged a wire. They could have installed new injectors. But instead just repaired the wire. Pickup runs like new. Thanks Dan H

Our KAI had electrical issues, which they found quickly, also a TPS. Both of which they communicated with us about. Your Not going to have to worry about this shop s honestly! Thanks Southside!!

Brought in vehicle, 1979 Continental, twice in two months. Had the exact same issue: a short in the system causing burnout to my positive battery line. The most recent time, was told that no issue could be found. Will not use again.Service: Electrical repairService: Electrical repair

1000 miles into a cross country move, I found myself in quite the predicament. An acute electrical problem kept causing my main fuse to burn out. I was exhausted, exasperated, and at wits end when I called Southside Automotive Tech. From the immediate moment I spoke to Tammi, I had a feeling that perhaps things were going to be a turn for the better. These folks worked miracles for me, helping me to diagnose & fix my problem, for an affordable price, within a record amount of time. This experience was undeniably the best automotive repair experience that I have had in my 20 years of driving. They charged me 250 bucks to tell me my water pump was out. The two other issues I really wanted information about and that I would have been happy to pay to investigate were not addressed at all. I had a great experience with Southside. I had one problem that I wanted worked on at first but I had other issues with my car making noises. So after a test drive, Tom pretty much had a good idea of what was going on. It took a little longer than I wanted it to but that was the problem of getting parts. I am very pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone. Oh and the cherry on top was I reconnected with a past friend!

Steve is pleasant to deal with, when he called to tell me what he had found wrong, he was extremely detailed in his explanations. He told me what was wrong with each item and why it was acting the way it was. Steve told me how long each project was supposed to take to fix, he gave me an estimate on each item, we talked about coolant and he taught me something in the conversation. He was patient with me and my vehicle. He said he would have it done Monday even when it was projected Tuesday, unfortunately it wasn't done Monday but not because it couldn't have been but because it was getting close to closing and he didn't want to rush things just to get it out the door, which I appreciated. I will work with Steve any time. He made me feel heard and he didn't speak to me as if I were incompetent due to my gender. Tom, however is not as pleasant, he did speak to me like I was incompetent. When he took my payment, he was sharp and borderline rude. The secretary, I forgot her name unfortunately was pleasant and always cheerful. Went to South Side for several jobs on my Jeep Grand Cherokee but said I needed a new (engine rebuild). Went elsewhere for cheaper and the other mechanic said there was actually no structural issues with the original engine. Just be aware!

Great little place. I've had an issue with my car audio for almost two years - it's stumped most places I've brought it to. Called this place and was able to set up an appointment very quickly. They found my issue very fast and I was able to listen to music from the car for the first time in forever. Polite, good customer service. So thankful that my problem was fixed.

These guys were great! They got us in last minute when our alternator went out while traveling. They worked hard to get us back on the road as quickly as possible. All the staff were friendly and provided recommendations for a good place to grab a bite was. The cost of everything was extremely reasonable. If I ever get stranded in NE again, I hope it's here!

Was driving through town on a road trip when the shield underneath my car was dragging and I needed it removed. They took me in immediately and got it removed for free. Great hospitality and would definitely recommend!

Excellent job. Thoroughly went through my classic car and found everything wrong, where other shops couldn't. They were able to obtain the parts and fixed it right. Their attention to detail is amazing. Thanks for all you did from start to finish

I've heard a couple people suggest this place. The fuel pump went out it my car on a Monday, had my car towed (they use another company) on Tuesday, and I had my car back on Thursday. I very much appreciated that the gentleman ringing up my total asked if I had towing insurance. Unfortunately I dont but it wasnt that expensive for the tow.

I hired Southwide Auto to reprogram an Engine Control Module (computer) for my SAAB. I had them order the ECM from Orio and Craig did a fantastic job handling all from start to finish. He called me several times throughout the process with updates and wrapped up with the exact fee he quotes me. I was very pleased and would easily go to them again for other services. Call to make a appointment to see if they can look at my car & the lady who answered was kind of rude to me after I explained my situation. I was looking to possible get a new alternator or some wiring check out , she kept saying (well I don't know what you drive or we never look at it before) never once she ask me what I drove! And I know you haven't look at it before that's the reason I'm calling to see if you can!!!! My car is reading low 13 volts almost in the 12s that's not normal. Never been here before but base off that just a simple call to make a appointment and how difficult that was I'll probably look else where.

Above and beyond. Took my truck to a different shop first and they gave it back to me and said they couldn't figure it out. Took it to these guys, and they did everything way ahead of time, directly on budget, and the repair was as good as factory. 10/10 recommended and will be going back soon.

I have used Southside Auto Tech for over two decades. I am always given forthright answers about my vehicles. I have my kids take there vehicles there. I know that the service will always be done right, and they always give friendly counsel about my vehicles. They have serviced everything form my RV to my Aveo over the years. As a small independent collision repair facility we understand the importance of returning the vehicle to a pre-loss condition , but due to the numerous makes and models of vehicles we repair it is impossible for us to have all the various scan tools and safety system diagnostic tools needed to check the health of the vehicle prior to returning it to the customer. Craig & his staff are extremely knowledgeable and have virtually all the necessary factory approved & authorized computers & scan tools to provide us the needed documentation to rest assured that the vehicle safety systems have been restored to pre-loss condition.Being outside the Lincoln area, they have been very accommodatingat working us into there schedule on relatively short notice. I would like to thank Southside Auto Tech for helping me out when I was in Lincoln for an event at Lincoln Country Club. I arrived in Lincoln and the indicator on my dashboard said my tire pressure was low. This has only happened in my car once before and it turned out I had a nail in the sidewall and I had a blowout on the interstate. Needless to say, this indicator light had me worried. While I participated in the golf event Jeff Henry at LCC took my car to Southside Auto Tech and had them check the tires. They found no problems, re-calibrated the indicator and sent my car back to LCC. I returned to Omaha with no incident, thank Heaven and Southside Auto Tech and LCC staff!! Carol Lehan

I was not able to get in here but they were able to recommend me to a close shop that was able to get the job done at a fair price.
