Tom has worked on our families cars for years. Always explains what is wrong and how much it costs before proceeding and if its actually necessary at the moment. Strongly recommend!

Pleasant, honest, very reasonable prices. I was passing through on a crosscountry road trip with rescue dogs when my alternator went out and the minivan lost power. I called eight mechanics in the area, and Tom and his crew were the only ones who agreed to work me in between jobs and install my part that rainy day. They really got me in and out of there efficiently despite little to no advance notice. Totally appreciate you all! I felt like an honorary Lincoln resident by the end of my experience with you and the Autozone employees nearby. Thanks again from Luna the guardian dog, Curly the border collie pup, and me!

Honest, fast and personable. Tom and his team do great work. Passion for cars shows and works to make customers happy. Doesn't do any work without running it by you first. Explains reasoning well and gives you options. You don't have to worry about surprise bills and he stands by his work. Tom is a great person to know for non-car people. Rarely do I find a review worth writing! Nor do I typically need to take my car in, but when I do, it will be here. The owner is extremely helpful and honest. Finding honesty, at an automotive shop, is really something to celebrate. I took my car in for a 65,000 mile check. I printed out a list of items needing looked at (timing belt, battery, spark plugs, leaking gaskets, fuel pump, idler pulley, etc) because I wanted a lot of items checked over for preventative maintenance. I dropped my car off in the morning and then returned after work (I also received a phone call at work on the status of my car which was very convenient). The owner went down my list with me one-by-one. To make a long story short, he could have easily charged me thousands of dollars (I estimate $3,000 to $6,000), but instead he let me know I could stretch out many of the proactive service items for another 10,000 miles or so. He didn't make a buck off me that day, but he will in the future, because it's obvious to me he put me first over his business- that's rarely found these days. I highly recommend Husker Automotive!

They didn't actually work on my car but Tom's upfront honesty will bring me back to them for any future issues. I emailed regarding an issue with my vehicle. I received a reply within 15 minutes asking me to call because Tom would like to ask me a few more questions. I talked to him and explained a little more. He said he was going to research and call me back. Within 20 minutes he called me and told me what the most likely problem was and how to fix it. He didn't want to charge me hundreds for something we can do ourselves. Well, we fixed our car for $25. I will always take my car here in the future because of Tom's honesty this time. Thank you!!

Absolutely love this establishment. My family has been going to Husker Automotive for quite a while and Tom is always honest and friendly. I really appreciate the customer service and will continue to support locally owned companies such as this. I would highly recommend to anyone with vehicle issues.

Took my wife's Mercedes ML500 there for drive-train and sensor issues. Tom and the staff are great and went the extra mile on a couple issues that were the manufacturers fault. They kept her up to date the whole time and came through as promised. Really nice guys, I'll take my Silverado there when the time comes.

Tom and his team always do a great job. I called Tom Friday morning to see if he could do a repair today on my son's car. He said that he could get it in next week. My son needed to leave on Sunday for college and had to drive over 2 hours to get there. Tom said bring it in and we will get it done today. AWESOME JOB!!Thanks again!!-Tim

I will only take my vehicles here. Trustworthy, fair pricing, and very good at repairing vehicles. I always know that my vehicle is in good hands when at Husker Automotive.

Was out running errands today and picked up a bolt in my tire. Called Tom to let him know and headed his way. He was able to squeeze me in and after the reoair, was able to be back on the road in less than 30 minutes. Tom has always been very fair and reasonable. In this case a tremendous help in a pinch.

I would not go here. They tried to rip me off and they know it. They said they'd look at my truck no problem, with no mention of "service", "charge" or price...Then, when they call to say it will be $450 to replace spark plugs and a fuel filter, I said I would pick up my truck. He then tried to charge me $80 for the diagnostics, even though he never even mentioned there would be a charge, even after I told him I was not ready to make any financial commitments before they got started.He decided to be mad and argue with me. I picked up my truck and took it to a place that looked at it for free, then quoted me $100 less for the service.

I've been several times for our business vehicle. Expectations are set as soon as the diagnosis is made, both on cost and timing. Honest and fair pricing. There are certain times where I have to take our business vehicle to another repair facility, since it is a box truck with needs that this shop does not handle, and those occasions typically go much less smoothly than at Husker Automotive.

Fantastic place!! Had an estimate over 3k elsewhere, took my car to Husker Automotive for a second opinion and they ended up fixing for less than half ! Most importantly they are trust worthy!! Highly recommended for your auto repair needs!

I took my car to have a slow leak tire fixed. I asked Malone how much to plug or patch a passenger car tire? He say's 18.00 which is a decent price. I come back after work he tells me he can't find any leak at all which is not true! I was filling it twice a day with air. He said he spent an hour trying to find the leak, so now instead of charging me the 18 to actually fix a flat? he wanted 27?? for his extra time?? LMFAO He said if it goes flat tonight bring it back and well look at it again! Every tire store in Lincoln won't charge you a dime unless it's fixed! Not malone tho. Next day I took it to graham tire 3 blocks south they had it fixed in 10 minutes!! It was the valve stem!! malone literally ripped me off! He didn't even take the tire off the car to check it if he did he would of found the leak instantly!! It's only 27 dollars I know, but I was lived! it should of been free! I also payed graham 16.00 for their service.So at the end of the day I payed 43.00 dollars for a flat tire!! :(

Fixed a wheel bearing on my 2012 ram reasonable repair cost and got it done the same day. They have done other work on my truck as well. I only use them for my auto repair needs.
