With over 230k miles on my 2014 Prius, Baldwin Automotive is the only shop in town that I will take it for engine work. Honest. Quality work. Goes the extra mile.

We were 1 day into a 2 week vacation traveling from Minnesota to Utah to see family.....our car broke down in Waverly Nebraska, and we called Baldwins to see if they were able to get us back on the road and sure enough within 2 hours they got us going! Excellent customer service!!!! He recommended a tow company, Boecker's Wreckers Towing & Recovery, to get our car to Baldwins Automotive for the repair. They are also 5 STAR!!! Excellent customer service! Our driver Matt is a super nice guy! Highly recommended!!Service: Auto maintenance

Baldwin has always provided great, timely and honest service for all our vehicles.... Scheduling has never been a problem and they're very knowledgeable so we are never without our vehicles for long at all!!! Would absolutely recommend Baldwin to anyone looking for a great mechanic service!

Baldwin's automotive has always gone above and beyond to fix our cars. Their prices are always reasonable and Chuck and Ryan have always been great to work with. I would not trust my cars to anyone else

Honest, trustworthy and fair. Have been a loyal customer since I found out about them 15 years ago. Gone through 4 cars and never once was I disatisfied with any work done. Replaced a faulty part due to a factory default. Absolutely free. They always call when they come upon a problem that wasn't discussed when the car was brought in. Once told me to get a new car he was tired of taking my money for a clunker. Service like that doesn't come easy. Reasonable prices, friendly Service, and fast repair times. Make sure to call ahead they have a rather busy schedule.

Randy and all the guys at Baldwin's are really great at what they do. Randy has always gone above and beyond for his customers. He helped me with a fuel pump warranty from 700 miles away. I don't even live in Lincoln anymore so he doesn't have to worry about keeping my business, but still handled my issue.Great place, I wish I could still have my vehicles worked on here.Thanks guys

Randy is awesome. We needed help badly with our pickup. I left a message, on their machine, after hours. He called me back first thing the next morning. Asked if I could have it there in an hour.We got there and he pulled it in the shop right away. We had a leaking injector line. They fixed it right away. We were back on our way to Ohio in mere minutes.I highly recommend Baldwin's automotive to travelers and locals alike. Honest, friendly, and competent folks. Thanks for the help Randy.

I took my vehicle to Baldwin's automotive on a reference from a friend that is married to somebody that works there. The car wasn't starting, i found out after the fact that it needed new spark plugs and a new fuel pump, along with a basic oil change.This would be fine if the bill wasn't close to a grand .I needed a new battery too, but I had a warranty on my existing battery, so after seeing the bill and being utterly shocked that an apparent friends significant other would pull this I went to Walmart and exchanged it myself at the store. I came back and my friend dropped me off.I come up to the counter with the battery and the guy just sorta grunts at me and says that he would install it, but he would need to tack on additional labor. Keep in mind this is something that would take ANYONE with a $4 wrench set a minute tops to do. But here I was, already upset with the fact that I went to this place, and without the tools I let them tack on an additional 15 minutes of labor .Now I truely can't understand why it would cost so much to do so little, now with the bill at about a grand I figure at the bare minimum have a car that will function and I'll just never come back after my experience . My fault anyways right? The car is at least fixed right? NO .I pulled out and heard an awful grinding sound that I'd never heard before and pulled over thinking I blew a tire. I didnt even make it out of the parking lot. I thought i blew a tire, this was not the case. What was apparent is that no one test drove my car after "working on it" and damage was done by the shop that wasn't there previously. A thousand dollars got me new spark plugs, an oil change, and a fuel pump. Oh, and broken wheel bearings and the worst customer service imaginable.Maybe my experience is unique, but based on what I went through don't take your car here. They will raise the car up instead of doing standard diagnostics. Let your friend help you with your car, or maybe another mechanics, or perhaps just try hitting some random part of your engine with a wrench, it would be so much less expensive and doing this in front of people would likely make you feel like less of a fool then taking your car here. Oh, and it took like three days to do everything that was done.I can't express how disappointed I am in how this all went down, a friend who is a lovely person recommended her husband and his shop and I paid dearly for it. Did not have the heart to tell her that her husband, based on only my experience alone, is a con man.I'm ashamed that I let these guys look at my car instead of my normal mechanic. Do your research into other mechanics and at only a last resort come to this place. Disgusting.

Honest, reliable, considerate guys! My van works like new! There was a lot wrong. 2 motor mounts, rear brakes, timing belt (the whole kit) power steering pump and the list goes on.... Thank you guys so much for making my car safe again!

Over charged for alternator and installation for said alternator. They said the alternator that I had purchased from Autozone would not fit, even though the Autozone website said differently. I wouldn't buy a part for my car without making sure it was the right one. They ripped me off

I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee overland. The gearbox and power steering pump were both blown and it needed to be towed. Because it's AWD it needed to be flat bedded to the shop. Randy didn't even blink, just said he'd take care of it. He towed my Jeep and fixed it up right away. That was monday morning. I had my Jeep back by tues at lunch. Randy and his crew are FRIENDLY..RELIABLE and HONEST. I am VERY SATISFIED with the work they did, and it cost me HALF of what everyone else quoted. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BALDWIN AUTOMOTIVE

I go to Baldwin's for my Uber/Lyft inspection each year. They always get me in and out fast and they do the inspections at a reasonable price.

The guys here are very accommodating and explain the vehicle's issues so that even those with very little knowledge can understand what is being repaired. They also get the work done in a very timely manner.
