I brought my vehicle in with a check engine indicator, indicating an issue with my antilock brakes. This could have been a very expensive fix, but the technician identified it was a damaged wire when he could have charged me a lot to replace a sensor that didn t need it. When it comes to an auto mechanic shop, these guys are the best around. Amazing customer service, every time I've brought my car in they always ask me if I need a ride. They do amazing work and always have fair and honest pricing.

Knowledgeable and Professional Mechanics, AutoWorks was able to get my vehicle done in a reasonable and I mean reasonable amount of time for me to get back on the road...I'm a single mom and my Vehicle is Vital. It was also affordable and they also diagnosed and fixed ongoing issues including the Main issue(fuel pump) I appreciate how honest and fair i was treated and I appreciate my car working so well! Amazing!!! can't say enough!!! Paul and Mike took great care of my Acura start to finish. They took the time to educate me about the quality of products that they would use. I already knew my car needed brakes, so there was no surprise. They checked the front/rear, made the recommendation, ordered what was needed and got my car taken care of very efficiently!The icing on the cake was the shuttle service and the great conversation, from all 'the guys'. I trust the work they did, and I recommend them to you!!

Had a wonderful experience. George and the rest of the professional auto mechanics are exactly what I said - PROFESSIONALS, EXPERTS IN THEIR LINE OF WORK! It's too much to write, but in a nutshell, I had a real serious engine problem that first had to be diagnosed and then repaired. It was a multi-issue problem that they diagnosed very quickly, (could have charged me a lot more shop hours to diagnose, I would have never known.) Then called me and explained in detail what my problems were and had an exact price for me. I don't live in this state, I live in South Dakota and work and Lincoln. Another point I want to do make is I've been traveling for my work long time had many cars break down during my traveling career many more shops then not take advantage, sometimes take extreme advantage of out of towners when their cars break down because we have no choice..... We have to get them fixed, so they can basically charge what they want. I don't generally leave reviews even when they're deserved but I really feel that AUTO WORKS has definitely earned my time to write this review. So I'll finish by saying if AUTO WORKS will treat an out of towner with quality service at a reasonable price..... I'm new to Nebraska and was looking for a trustworthy place to work on our vehicles. Our suburban needed a lot of work, and we could only afford to have it done in increments. I talked to Jim and he spent an easy half hour asking questions about the specific problems I was having. He gave me the impression that he was looking for the solution, not just trying to sell me service.We took it in and they went over it & gave us a detailed list (in order of importance).George spent a lot of time with me on the phone helping me prioritize the neccessary fixes for an upcoming trip. Once again, I felt I was given an honest assessment of what was really important, and what wasn't. He wasn't trying to get me to buy a bunch of extra service. I had them tackle the first couple items on the list and could immediately see and feel the improvement in the way the vehicle drove.Price-wise... their prices were lower than a local dealership wanted for the same repairs, in some cases by a lot.I am very happy after my first visit to Autoworks, and plan on going back to have the "list" fixed as money allows.

I unfortunately had to get my radiator and water pump replaced. Everyone who I spoke to was amazing and they did the work in a great timeframe! Thoroughly impressed and if I need any more work done/services while in Lincoln, I ll be sure to go back.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

I had my 2004 Saab 9-3 serviced here several times which included both routine maintenance and a transmission replacement. I was pleased with the level of service and honesty on all occasions. They regularly call you with updates, and you won't get any surprises on your final bill. All work they did was very thorough. These gentlemen have character, and I highly recommend their service. They also have a shuttle to take you to and pick you up from work if you drop your car off.

Car had to be towed in dead. They got to it immediately the next morning and got it fixed. Very courteous. Referred by my son. My regular service wouldn't have got to it until after the weekend. This place used to be good until new receptionist came into play. I love the mechanics but the guy at the front desk is just irresponsible and this place will lose its customers very soon.The reason behind my negative comment is, i had them inspect my vehicle, paid the inspection fee of $109.00 after tx. Called 2 times to get a quote on how much will it cost to fix it as when i paid the inspection fee, apparently the tech was not present to provide me with the quote. Never received a call back. Talking about George Ellis not returning calls back and providing customers with quotes.

Had car trouble on vacation and had to find a place in Lincoln that could get me in ASAP. These guys were very helpful to work with, and the courtesy shuttle was a great touch. Work was good and pricing was reasonable. As an added bonus, they informed me on some things my regular mechanics haven't been able to figure out or have overlooked. Would definitely recommend Autoworks.

Make sure to specify what work you want done in writing before they start work. Asked for 3 specific things to be done on a 30k mile service and one was not. Additionally, the explanation I got from the service writers about the change was unsatisfactory.The mechanics are good, and I enjoyed taking my car in to Autoworks for over a year, but trust has been broken.

This is THE BEST auto repair shop EVER! I will not take my car anywhere else. Straight up, friendly, excellent work AND they will pick you up and or take you where you need to go. Do not go to auto works!! i put so much money into my car and it still broke down, when i got it back from them my ac didn't work and it worked before. Also, they offered me 2000$ for just a mew starter but i got it done for 600$ someplace else.
