I used to speak highly of Gregg Young (formerly Ernst) but not anymore. My family has bought multiple new cars from here from the same sales man for years. We were wanting a sienna, was told we can order it and it would be here in 6-8 months. Come to find out that you can t even order cars anymore and basically we sat and waited for 7 months for nothing until I asked about the status of the van. Communication was not there, no empathy whatsoever and when I said as a loyal costumer that I was going else where, all I got was an ok. Don t get me started on the Toyota Auto Mechanics, that area has also gone downhill. It s fine, we found a sienna at Village Point within a few weeks!

Purchased a 2020 Subaru Ascent from Ernst Toyota in October of 2023. First they sent me the title with me as the seller instead of the buyer. Almost from day one we experienced a "shudder" occasionally in the transmission. We also could not get the driver side window to roll up in extremely cold weather. I emailed Mike Backstrom about the issue with the window on January 18 of 2024. They responded but didn't get the car in for service. I emailed them in March again and finally they got the vehicle in. We were having problems with the "shudder" on the transmission, window roll up on driver side and an air leak in the moon roof. They got the vehicle in and did nothing for the "warranty" they were telling us was so good when we bought the vehicle. Said the window worked fine, and couldn't detect a leak in the moon roof, and told us to take the vehicle to Subaru for the transmission. We did and DeTeau Subaru of Lincoln has agreed to fix EVERYTHING we had a problem with AND also found an engine oil leak that no one at Ernst said anything about. Will NOT recommend anyone buying a used vehicle at Ernst or now Gregg Young due to Poor service after the sale. 5 star service???Go somewhere else.

My Tundra purchase experience here last week was 2nd to none. Starting off with Andy answering my inquiry right away with a response and also him ensuring his sales team took care of me when he was away. Mike did a fantastic job finding and ensuring I had the truck I was looking for and making the negotiation go quick and easy. Steve was extremely efficient in setting up the appointment and getting things signed, sealed, and delivered. This wont be our last vehicle to be purchased in the short term. I'll be coming back in the next year or two when the wife is ready for her vehicle and I will be happy to recommend Ernst to anyone else I know looking for one. Well done!

We recently worked with Kevin Wagner to purchase a new Toyota Corolla. I first saw it pictured on their website and when I inquired as to availability Kevin called right back and arranged to hold the one in the color we wanted which was due to arrive in a couple days. When we went to pick it up both Kevin and the business manager (Michele) were helpful and pleasant to work with and not at all pushy. When it is time to buy a car I recommend that you contact Ernst.

I recently bought a used vehicle from Ernst Toyota of Columbus, I was initially not blown away by the service provided but satisfied. After leaving the dealership I discovered the Bluetooth connection was not functioning correctly and a bit of steering wheel chop from the front rotors being warped. I called the following Monday and explained the details of what was going on to Angel the sales rep I had worked with. After playing phone tag most of the day I was told that I could take the vehicle to Superior Honda in Omaha (an hour and a half drive for me) and the would pay the diagnostic fee for the radio but they were not willing to address the rotors. Not exactly what I had hoped for but better than nothing I figured. I took the vehicle to the dealership they had instructed me to and dropped it off. Feeling a bit skeptical I touched base with Angel after dropping the vehicle off and informed him it was at the dealership but the service manager had informed me that Ernst had no account or credit card on file. Angel told me he'd call me back in a couple minutes. After waiting several hours I called again and he told me he had left a voice mail with the service manager and they would have it all sorted out by the time I picked up my vehicle. After speaking with the service manager when I went to get the vehicle I was informed he had no voice mail and no payment information. After SEVERAL unanswered calls to Ernst and the cell phone number Angel had given me it became clear that I was going to be covering the cost myself.EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the service I received from Ernst, definitely will NEVER consider them again for any vehicle purchases and would not recommend them to anybody.

I created an account just to share how bad my experience was. I was the only customer in the store and the sales manager that day wouldn't even come out to talk with me. He played the wizard of oz and had the sales guy keep going back and forth between him and me. I don't think I will ever understand. They also made me drive 1 hour to show them my trade in when I've got it done with pictures and a VIN everywhere else. Just bad business on their part, they just wanted me in there, didn't care about my time. We could've gotten everything done in 30 minutes while I was there and it took 2 hours. Avoid this place!

Had an experience today and I went in to save myself time on an oil change and that s all I needed and they proceeded to wash it and try and get me to get everything else done and when I finally got my car back there s oily marks all over it and a few paints chips on both sides and and on each mirror worst experience ever will never go back there

Kevin was wonderful at helping us find our perfect vehicle; we couldn t have asked for a better experience. He even stayed late to show us the features of our new van and make sure that we were ready to roll. Michelle in financing was really helpful and supportive as well! Had an issue with an employee using the handicapped stall and couldnt use it ,she made jokes about it , however the problem was adressed very quickly, and they got my car done faster than before. The men opened the doors for me upon arrival .

Angel is the best salesman to work with. He listened to what we wanted in a vehicle and kept in touch after the sale to make sure we were satisfied with our purchase. We will go back to Angel when we are looking for a vehicle again.

I would give them 10 Stars, If I could!!! My transaction was quick, easy and painless . My salesman Marc, was fantastic and a pleasure to work with.through the purchasing process. Marc knew everything about my Acadia Denali and went as far as helping me get everything hooked up and synced up, before I left to go back home in GI. It was well worth the drive to do business with the Ernst dealership. Their Certified Vehicle Program (Blue Advantage) has amazing coverage. I also purchased the premium extended warranty. Their finance guy got me financed at 2.34%, he beat my Credit Union which was at 2.74%. I would highly recommend anyone to drive to Columbus and check out this great dealership.

We purchased our 2019 Highlander new from Ernst. Today it has 27,800 miles on it and was in need of 2 new tires. When I went to Ernst to ask why the front tires are worn so bad compared to the back the Technician said, "oh that is easy, it's because you didn't rotate your tires like you should have." My response was "well that is funny it has been in here every 5000 miles and we thought that was part of Toyota Care." Let's just say they quickly back peddled and blamed it on an alignment issue. Heck they didn't even comment abnormal tire wear on any service paperwork.The Ernst solution was to sell me tires at cost which were more expensive than what I was quoted from a competitor.Oh yes, I did have the tires looked at in town at three other tire businesses and they all agreed my tires wore differently from them not being rotated properly.I had new tires installed today from another competitor dealer in town (which was cheaper than the Ernst cost quote I was given). They performed an alignment like Ernst said it needed. Guess what, it DID NOT NEED AN ALIGNMENT as everything was just fine. So maybe the three businesses and the Ernst tech were right after all.Needless to say, Ernst lost business from a repeat customer over not owning up to their laziness of rotating tires and working with a customer. I wasn't looking for a full replacement on tires but one would've thought they'd at least work with me.Sincerely Disappointed,Byron and Cara Belina

Our 4th Car from Ernst. Each time has been a positive experience. From Kevin who kept us updated on the status of the car, to Michelle who helped us with the financials, everything was top notch and would recommend this dealership to absolutely anyone in need of a vehicle.

BUYER BEWARE!! The sales rep Holly was great to work with but as with most larger dealers you aren't actually dealing with the sales staff. Toby the sales manager was Difficult to say the least. I drove 3 hours each way to look at a Tacoma they had on the lot. He refused to give me the Kelly Blue book my car was valued at. High balled his vehicle but the worst part was his arrogance. I returned the car that next morning because it was so uncomfortable. HE CHARGED ME $500 restocking fee. That has got to be a new one. I am sure if my husband would have purchased a vehicle from him this would have been a different story. Baxter Toyota is the place to purchase a Toyota.In the morning when I got in my Lincoln I saw a door dent at the very lower drivers door. I did not have any door dents when I dropped the vehicle off. If there was one they would have pointed it out when evaluating the car.

I drove over an hour to Columbus and purchased a vehicle off Dan, he was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Sales manager Mike was real, he didn't try blowing smoke. Jeanne in F&I was a pleasure, made the process painless. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again at Ernst. Great team!

BEST DEAL IN AMERICA !!! Recently I just lost my 08 Lexus Rx hybrid in a accident and while looking for another one locally in my area there was nothing. So I broadened my search nation wide and found a 2014 at Ernst. from the 1st phone call to the day of shipping Mark was a pleasure working with. He answered all my questions and sent me pictures of every thing I asked for. Buying a car and not being able to test drive made me uneasy but Marc assured me the car has been certified with 172 point inspection.

After online shopping for few days I found a Toyota RAV4 2021 at Ernest Toyota. I made an appointment with Kevin and showed up at store. Kevin was such a full of knowledge and professional gentleman. Our business process went very smooth with them from beginning the end. In the finance Colton a professional finance manager helped us and he did a wonderful job. We came in for our scheduled oil change and it took an hour for someone to come in and talk to us about our car. He then proceeded to tell us our tires needed rotated, we needed a new air filter, and we needed fuel injections. He said it would take under an hour, yet we waited another hour and a half for it to get done. The initial oil change shouldn't have taken as long as it did, and the rest of the stuff wasn't taken care of as efficiently as we were told. we could go somewhere else, pay more, get everything they did here, and get out of there faster than this place does an oil change.

This is the second time we get to work with Rick Smith. He is the best and always goes above and beyond. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, easy to get a hold of and provides the best shopping experience ALWAYS!!! Like other posts my communication started by phone. I wanted to look at a specific used Tundra. Holly our salesperson put a hold on it as we had an hour drive to get there. The truck was sitting right out front when got there. After the test drive Holly was very good at making sure it had all options I was looking for and yet not bigger than I wanted (I was going up from a smaller suv). However she never pushed or tried to upsell into something I didnt want. Special thanks goes to Jeanne in finance. She jumped through hoops to get us a loan within our budget. Again she never tried to upsell extended service plans or anything else; she mentioned them of course but didnt push. All this happened the Saturday afternoon before Christmas and we left the dealership a half hour before they closed. I have a feeling Jeanne would've stayed as long as it took to make it happen. We bought our Camry from a dealer in Lincoln, and not that they did anything wrong, but it's the people that make the dealership. Everyone we talked to at Ernst was great and without question, they will be the dealership I go back to for my next vehicle purchase.

Ernst helped me find the exact Toyota I wanted without all of the double talk I got at the three dealerships in Omaha. Dan and the rest of the staff were terrific! I did most of the communication online and on the phone. They contacted me when the car arrived and my husband and I went and picked it up! I am telling everyone I know to go to Ernst in Columbus if they are looking for a new car.

I went to the service center and they charged me over $300 dollars to fix my engine my vehicle I purchased from this dealer less than 3 months had beenhaving problems I tried expressing my concern but was ignored by the service advisor Miguel Ithen took my vehicle to the Ford dealer up the street and turns out I need a brand new engine stay away from this place horrible customer service .
