Cool little hotel in a way awesome little town. Such beautiful surroundings!!! Takes you back in time to a simpler life. Great service. So calming and laid back. Love the common dining room, kitchen, and sitting area. Thanks for a comfortable, safe stay!Food & drinks: Attached to the town's general store. Plenty of snacks and drinks. Delicious little Restaurant is right across the street.

An oasis in the middle of nowhere! Glad we found this place. We were running low on fuel and this place saved the day. It didn't show up on Google maps or another app used for fueling. The sign on the highway said it had fuel however. It's about a half mile off the highway and the center of town. It's a small general store with ice cream and t shirts. Lots of character and some of the locals we talked to were super friendly.

While on a long road trip we needed a place to stay somewhere near Seeley Lake to make our travel days relatively even. Found this little place on the map and gave them a call. They had a room and would make arrangements with us for our late arrival - perfect. When we arrived near 10 pm we had the whole place to ourselves, though we just went straight to bed exhausted. The room was furnished nicely and the attached private bath was a bonus I wasn't counting on! Bed was comfortable and we slept well. In the morning we were preparing to make ourselves coffee and hit the road when John came in from the store and said he already had hot coffee ready or he could make us an espresso. We took him up on the espresso and also a fresh cinnamon roll - both were absolutely yummy! Friendly service, beautiful rural setting, a hub for the whole community AND killer espresso! Can't ask for better . I might add that if you were planning on staying longer, not only is there a great little restaurant across the street, but a full kitchen for your own meals. There were good books on the shelves and comfortable chairs to read them in. And if you forget anything, I'm pretty sure you could find it in the store out front - an excellent selection of food and non-food items.

The owner is a very nice guy. We ran out of gas over there at 10 pm. The store was closed, but the owner kindly drove a long way back and opened the store again and let us purchase the gas. It saved our life.

Great place to gas up! Fred saw us pull up and let us gas up even though he was technically closed. What a lifesaver! The store is well-stocked and has some very nice pottery, good grocery selection, and a great variety of beverages. There's even a coffee bar, and huckleberry ice cream. Stop here instead of some boring cookie-cutter gas station if you're in the area during business hours.

What a cool unexpected find! This Is why I love traveling and road tripping! Needed gas and stumbled upon this place. The old gas pumps were cool and so was the store and the men inside were super nice. Bought a sweet shirt and Marked this for the next time I'm out this way!

This is one of those unexpected delightful finds that make traveling such fun. Clean, comfortable, friendly, very reasonably priced (less than $100) and better quality than many $200+ accommodations this retired CEO has stayed in. If you're country bred like me, you'll love this place.

Great hotel to bring the family together to interact and enjoy time while disconnected from electronics. Great common area and attached general store. Could also be a quiet getaway for an individual or couple. Centrally located between Missoula, Helena, Seeley Lake and Great Falls.

This gas station was a lifesaver. Made it there with only seven miles to spare. Quaint store with a good variety of products and prices are very reasonable. Seem like good, honest people to me.

I guess this is a "boutique" hotel. It's just six rooms. All I know for sure is our room was super comfortable, with its own bathroom, there was a big common room downstairs where guests can watch TV or play games or just drink and eat whatever they have brought, there's a huge kitchen where guests can prepare and store food, there's a porch all the way around the hotel/store, and there is a general store that is well stocked and even serves ice cream, all nestled far from the main road in a quaint tiny town with a breakfast place across the plaza and a legendary dive bar a half mile walk back to the highway. We loved this place! We stayed one night and I wish we'd stayed two. Great place to base yourself for going to visit Garnet Ghost Town. We are motorcycle riders, btw.

It the gas station had just closed. Completely out of gas this hole town watching me struggle in 10� weather as I tried to get gas out of the vehicle I was hauling if I didn't have that other gas i don't think I would have made it through the night. Stop here at your own risk. FYI it was 6:05 pm

Such a great treausre. Tucked away in the town of of a Ovando is a gem and one of the reasons that Montana is a great state. The man at the counter was kind and showed our out of state relatives the tour of Ovando and explained some history. The store was a great find to get some treats after travelling. Stop in and rest your feet, enjoy some ice cream.

The selection and quality of ice cream is excellent! Yes, they have other groceries as well. My other favorite is the grass fed beef.

Rooted in Ovando, MT, Blackfoot Com Co. has a gas station, small convinence store, and hotel rooms accommodating hunters, fishermen, bikers, or just an traveler looking for a nice quaint place to stay. There is an restaurant across the street, a bar and resturaunt down the road, and an angler shop for the outdoorsman.

Very friendly folks served a memorably delicious beef stew. If you are riding a bicycle thru the area be sure to stop and enjoy

I enjoyed a wonderful night in the inn! Quiet. Hosts are so accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend an adventure in Ovando and a stay at this inn

We got diesel here which is a blessing since there aren't a lot of fuel stops out in this country!
