These guys are great! Shannon worked us into sleds and made several adjustments to be sure we had great rides. His shop is the way Cooke shops have been since I started sledding there 20 years ago, personable, low key, and military loving! Was surprised how much Kim gear he has for sale too even though we have our gear. Overheard a fellow sledder in the shop who torched his handlebars on his rental over on abundance and Cole was headed out to recover. They were calm and cool and told the renter they d work with him on an equitable way forward. Not all shops are so understanding especially on a low snow year, after all they re just trying to make a living. Great place, great people and a mix of makes (Polaris, Skidoo and Arctic Cat). See you next year Shannon!

Shannon and the team at Beartooth Adventures has always been great to our group. Four consecutive years coming to Cooke City to explore the winter mountains and Shannon has set us up with high quality equipment. From snowmobiles to avy gear, parts and service, Beartooth has been great to work with. We will be coming back again next year!

Went on about 80 miles of riding sleds and had a hell of a time with the family. Cole was a great dude and answered questions when we asked. The owner was direct and straightforward with his expectations from us when riding. We had no prior experience with snowmobiling yet they gave us the opportunity to learn and experience what those machines can do. Thanks for the experience and I hope we can do another trip next season!

We were in Montana this past weekend and were lucky enough to find this wonderful place! Shannon is such a great person to do business with. His employees are so knowledgeable and definitely put you at ease. This was our first time going out on sleds and we had such a blast! He helped us with everything, from rental clothing to getting us comfortable to head out on an adventure. This place is well worth the drive and the experience is something I will always remember. We will definitely be back for many years to come! Thank you so much!

Had the opportunity to rent three sleds from Shannon.He went the extra mile to get us a third sled.He made sure we had great equipment, and even invited us into the shop to look the machines over before taking them out.His mechanic was first rate - it makes your day when the equipment is reliable and dependable.As for his location, Cooke City is world class snowmobiling.It had snowed an additional two feet a day or two before we arrived and everywhere we rode had either well groomed trails with a tremendous base or deep powder.We had a first timer with us so we stayed well clear of possible avalanche areas.The meadows and bowl areas we played around in had awesome views and something for every skill set.Everyone in our group says they will be coming back!#ArticCat#Polaris RMK#Scorpion!#Skidoo Summit.

It was my first time snowmobiling in Montana we went to Cooke city with some friends and rented 3 snowmobile for 3 days, we had a lots of fun, we had couple issues with the snowmobile but they did what they could to fix it, why to paid $16,000+ for a snowmobile when you can rent one for a lot last than that and with a great service from everyone at the store.I highly recommend Cooke City Motorsports, IncWe will definitely be going back and do business again!Thank you all of you guys for that great service keep smiling!

Nicest guys. Great sled. We were new to the area and they made us comfortable with where to go. Easy in and easy out to the trail system. Will rent from again. Hopefully soon.

I Want to SAY A BIG THANK YOU. Sammy and Cole took great care of our 3 guys. The first day one sled had a little throttle issue, but it didn't last all day. But the next morning Shannon the owner switched the sled out for us. An upgrade! I also had an issue with overheating one morning before leaving town. Cole was very helpful in showing us how to keep them cool. Thank you guys for the awesome service and experience! We will be out to shred again!!

Very fun Experience!! Shannon and his team are extremely professional and all transactions went perfectly! I rented the entire package for two days, when I arrived (the day before) I went into the office and completed the paperwork, picked up ALL of my equipment (everything fit just as advertised - I literally walked in in street clothes and walked out completely outfitted) for my next two days of sledding. They open at 8am and picking the sled up is quick and easy. Thank you guys for an upfront and painless experience! Highly recommend!! Tony

First sled trip to Cooke City ever from Green Bay, WI. Day 1 had a mechanical issue with my primary clutch. Totally bummed, walked to Shannon's dealership. Being positive and willing to help, he told me to go get my sled and he'd look at it right away. Within an hour, he had my sled running just fine and I was able to enjoy the rest of my trip. Great technical service and knowledge and a really good guy! Highly recommend.

Mark at the shop was great, helpful, courteous, knowledgeable.One downside:we were expecting UTVs with GPS built in. No GPS and no maps available.A great place to rent an adventure.Reply: clarification rental was 8/15/23 by Johnson. I thought the shop guy was Mark, maybe not his name, he was from MI.

Rented 8 sleds with a big group of guys. They all ran great for us, we rode hard for 2 days and left with the machines intact with exception of a few lugs on one sled. I would say it was a small price to pay for the amount of fun we had. One of the best experiences I ever had and will definitely be coming back to cooke city. I give cooke city motorsports a thumbs up. Thanks Shannon and Staff, you guys were great to us!

Lady was super nice and friendly. The guy was extremely rude and ripped us off. Gave us a sled which had a broken hood but then charged us a $1000 on top of the rental prices, for a few small paint scratches near the rear bumper. Told us he would have to tear the whole sled apart to replace it lol. Obviously doesn t know how to work on sleds if that the case. If your in Cooke city don t rent from here. There are a few other places or bring your own sleds. He will rip you off given the chance, just warning you!

Amazing place to rent snowmobiles and all of the necessary gear to keep you warm and dry. Snowmobiles were 2022 models and in great shape! Great people to walk you through the machines and recommend riding areas for your skill level. We will definitely be back in the next couple months for our next adventure with Cooke City Motorsports!

Twice in the last 6 years we ve gone somewhere other than here. Only to be disappointed and regretting not going back to them. Truly professional service and hands down the best sled rentals I ve had. It was nice to try and see a different place, but missed the quality of people and service Cooke City Motorsport s provides. Hands down the best place. Wont make the mistake of going anywhere else.

Great service easy to reserve online. Machines were is very good condition. The guys in the shop were helpful in explaining everything and helped set us up for an awesome day of snowmobiling!

Have rented sleds here and purchased 2 so far. They have helped us countless times over the years. Not one issue. If you have a negative review of this place, I suggest you take a minute and analyze the situation. All dealers should be like Mona and Shannon.Thanks!!

Called them to rent two two-ups for a day. One of the two-ups was out of commission, so Sammy suggested he could knock $100 off a single as a compromise. He said he d call us back later in the day once he confirmed with the owner. Nobody called us back. We finally got a hold of the owner a few days later. Not only did he berate us for asking about the discount which was offered by his employee, but he was also condescending and tore into us for having no snowmobile experience (which we were told wasn t an issue by someone else on the phone). He then said he wouldn t do business with us and hung up phone. Take your business elsewhere if possible. Employees are great but the owner is unreasonable.

best dealer in cooke!! the owners are always willing to lend a extra hand and are definitely all about customer service, i accidentally set off my avalanche pack and they helped change the cylinder out and repacked the bag for no extra charge! they also have great deals on gear.

The guys were very helpful and concerned with the function of their machine. I could tell they took good care of the machine and that meant I didn't have to worry about being stranded on the trail.

Randomly decided to go all the way to Cook on our last day in Montana. While having lunch at deli and buns and asking about the snowmobiling, CCM was recommended to my wife and I. Over we went and it turned out to be one of the best choices we made all trip. We ended up on a 2-up sled because my wife didn't feel comfortable driving her own, but still had a blast, able to hit all the trails and cruise up the highway a bit too. CCM had everything we needed to stay warm, even offering some personal gear to fit my wife who is on the smaller side of things.If you want to get way up in the mountains and see some spectacular views, this is the only way to do it in the winter. 10/10 would recommend to anyone even thinking about doing it. They will take good care of you and you will have a blast!If you are an experienced rider, their sleds are all in great shape, newest model year and I am sure they can help you with anything you need, repairs included as we had another guy in the shop grabbing some parts for his sled while we were filling out our paperwork.
