We bought a carburator from the store on Main St. Billings, Mt for $457.00 which ended up getting stolen out of the motor home we were fixing. So we called all of the NAPA stores to see if it had been returned. The employees that we talked to were ALL very polite and as helpful as they could be, given the circumstances. Great people all around!

The employees are so happy to help!I truly appreciate how kind and personable they were yet they didn't waste any of my time.It's an art to have happy employees that can chat and be efficient. I try to go here everytime I need any little thing for our vehicles.Please support them so they stay at this location for years to come. Thank you!

Bought a battery from them back in January! Hooked it up in vehicle and vehicle wouldn't start. Took it back and spoke with an allayna and she ran their test on it said it was good and the issue was with my vehicle, although this problem had never occurred in the past. So was not able to get new battery.For months I then Ran vehicle by jumping it everytime I wanted to go somewhere and wouldn't shut truck off for duration of trip. After vehicle ran fine with no electric power loss for over a few hours sometimes. Would shut truck off and immediately try to start it again and it wouldn't start back up. After this persisted for almost 6 months I had had enough so I even tried leaving battery unhooked from vehicle overnight after charging it up and when hooking it backup next day still wouldn't start!Finally I decided to call and speak with a manager Dana. She seemed to be very kind and willing to help and get battery switched which I appreciate. However the duration of time I was in the store I was told by allayna how the problem was my alternator. I explained to her the truck only had a problem starting and if the alternator were the culprit the truck would not run properly if at all after vehicle was running! She then continued to argue with me and acrimoniously tell me the problem wasn't their battery and now they would "LOOSE OUT BIG TIME!" I've never experienced a know it all at an auto parts store who was genuinely acting as if my vehicle were the problem and not willing to make it right. Not too mention like the money the store would loose for their faulty battery that now had just tested bad was coming out of her pocket directly! Thankfully Dana did make it right or this would only be a 1 star.Most people going into an auto parts store are having an issue with something they're trying to fix last thing you want is an argumentative clerk at the store to exacerbate the situation!The arrogance was on full display and I could hardly believe what I was hearing. Needless to say I will no longer give service to this napa location!UPDATETruck has not given me one issue since new battery was installed. Was a bad battery although being told it was my vehicle!

Hardly a 1, more like .5. Whomever was there was a rude inconsiderate, something idk, fill in the blank. Way to take pride in your job sir or rather 'dont' take pride it seems your rudeness belongs at 'Good Burger' home of the '______ ________', thanks for helping out a future customer, instead I will ask my common question to a place just a little bit more friendly, Autozone seems to be better ppl and much more considerat. Just wanted to let the community know, there's obviously a jackwago working, and isn't the nicest by any means. Thank you much for the opportunity NAPA, YOU SURE KNOW HOW TO PICK THEM!!

Bring Billings Hardware back !!I stopped in the new location on Grand Ave, next to Albertsons, where Billings Hardware had been for many years.I had a simple need - a cigarette lighter fuse. I gave the guy the exact year, model, etc for my car. He said what shape fuse ? I replied that I did not know yet because I had not removed the old one yet, but again I repeated the car model information. He said that didn't do any good.WHAT ??? You cannot simply look up the fuse in your catalog ? That's what auto parts people do - look up the needed part number when I supply the vehicle information. He then grudgingly open his big book, flipped some pages, and then proclaimed "There is no fuse listed to your yada, yada car."I turned around and walked out. I will not be back.I came home and did a quick search, and found the correct fuse myself. It's a Bussmann Fuse BP-ATM-20-RP. I won't be back.

What a nightmare I will never go back gave me wrong filters hour and a half to return cause I live out of town guy behind counter cursing at computer today oil change cost 300+ dollars in lost time and fuel what a joke if you like wasting time this is the place for you
