We took our car in for front bumper and lower light replacement. After having it 7 work days ,it came out costing almost double what we were quoted.. looking at the front bumper they failed to clean the bugs off a section, which stuck out next to the rest of the bumper that had been removed. If you need body work this is the place to go! We, very happily, accidentally found them. We went to have one part repaired. But, technically had 3 parts that could have been replaced. Instead of having us spend the money doing so, they repaired them so they could be put back in place and not have to buy new parts. I walked out to find one gentleman working to reattach a part we were looking at ordering. I said, oh I'm sorry you're doing that, we may be ordering a new one, he said "that's ok, I just wanted to make your day brighter". Wow. The owner was so kind and honest. He said he wouldnt replace one of the parts because we'd just end up having to replace it again due to its location. When we left and asked if we could please pay them for reattaching the parts, they said no. We were completely blown away! If you need a body shop you can trust, that does excellent work, has incredibly kind and knowledgeable people, this is the place to go! Thank you gentlemen!Service: Body & Trim

My insurance company recommended this place and I m glad they did. Very easy to work with and the communication is great. They regularly sent me texts or called me with any issues and let me know the progress of my car. Very professional staff. I wouldn t hesitate to use this company again and will recommend them to others.

The core part of the hood and grill repair on my 2013 Audi was done well. The paint matched and was covered well.The reason I decided against 5 stars was there issues. I had asked the receptionist to document that i wanted the original plastic grill returned to me, which i believe she did, but apparently that was not communicated to anyone else. I had to ask for the grill when picking up the car, which took several minutes and had the Audi emblem pried off. The second item was, when one of the staff cleaned the interior of the car the liquid protectant that was used was sprayed directly on the left side speaker covers and was draining down the inside of the door. I have not had time to pry off the covers to see if the speakers are ruined. The last item is that i just noticed that the lower fog light plastic grill covers were not completely snapped in place. I shouldnt have to worry about any of these items happening when i bring my car in for body work.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Well I don t question the quality of their work, two important facets as a customer when it comes to auto body repair is time management and communication. Even though Car Star has the staff and tools to effectively deal with both of these issues, Both issues we re lacking in dealing with me as a customer. I received either no communication, or conflicting messages. And the longer wait times than indicated after I was told the vehicle was ready caused me additional costs which could have been avoided with accurate, honest information from this business.Services: Painting, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim

My pickup looks great. It took quite a bit longer to get done but in fairness to the good folks at the Billings Montana Car Star there were supply chain issues, employees getting sick and a calamity of issues causing problems. Shaun and the rest of the CarStar team were very friendly, professional and great to work with! My vehicle was finished on time and looks beautiful. They even took the time to clean all of the dog hair out of the interior which I thought was above and beyond, not to mention the exterior was clean, shiny and looked brand new. As my first experience with an auto body shop, they exceeded my expectations and I couldn t be more grateful. Thank you for your hard work!

My 19 ram looked Just like it came off the showroom floor after they had fixed the damages and painted the truck. In the current climate where parts are difficult to come by especially for RAM trucks it did take quite a while for the process but that was no fault of CarStar.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

Horrible place to go!They continue to do horrible service. Blaming the customer saying that the issue was previously there. My truck was a newer Chevy Colorado that I took very good care of!Basically tried to get all the insurance money they could put of my claim and not do the work that was needed.Please don t support this place! Be warned they will take full advantage of you without thinking twice!

Will not go back ever again! I waited for a time to take my vehicle in to get it repaired and come to find out I was not scheduled. Although, i was told that I would have an appointment on the first part of March. Then, I was told they could make me an appointment for April.

Really disappointed, seamed like really nice people to deal with but called 3 times to get my bid... I hit a deer with my truck is why I was there, driver side front.. and so after bugging them for the bid for my insurance they gave me a price on replacing my tailgate..oh well i wasted a lot of time, now it's the end of January before I can get it fixed from a different outfit
