Absolutely the best service in the entire lake area. I have taken multiple cars of the last few years for various repairs and they have always over delivered. Fair and Honest, rare in today's world much less in the Auto Service Industry. You can not go wrong with J&J Auto Repair.

These are the best guys in town. They got me out of a bad situation fast and their customer service is second to none. Highly recommend. Thanks to them I got my waverunner towed back to STL in time

My jeep had to be towed because of a starter problem. I knew nothing about this place but it was the closest to where I was stuck. They did an amazing job. Friendly, efficient and the price was right. Highly recommend!Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

These guys helped me out when I was in a bind. They got me in same day to fix a major oil leak my car had so I could make it home to Saint Louis. Yes they don t always answer the phone, however what do you expect from hard working mechanics that I m assuming probably don t have a dedicated front desk person to keep prices lower. I ll travel for good car care, will definitely be coming back.

Second visit and second vehicle I ve brought in for repair. In person or by phone, they are always patient, friendly, and reassuring. Seems like an honest descent mechanic shop that a woman or anyone, can trust what they say/do at a fair price. Well done! I appreciate this greatly and I will be back!

I've been to a few Shop's in the area and they all wanted to take me to the cleaners. They made up issues that didn't exist with my truck. I only know this because I work on my truck a lot and if it's something I don't have the tools for or don't know how to do I look for a good shop to take it to. I moved to the area 2 years ago and in September need an inspection. Let me tell you Thes Guys are great. If you have an issue the come to you quickly friendly and professionally. They have the numbers for the work and parts and are incredibly fast so they don't try to nickel and dime you. Seeking good Mechanics? This is the place where you get honesty, integrity and these guys are the most reasonable down home mechanics that you will find on this planet. JR and Cody are a great team, just wish you could find more mechanics like these two. I do think that Cody can work circles around the old man. It's the only mechanic I trust at the lake. A lot of places try to rip women off...thinking we don't know better. These guys are legit. I admit it is hard to get an appointment but that's because they're honest and don't take advantage of people. Like some other places in town whose names I'm not going to mention.. CLARKS!

This guy is awesome, we are here on vacation and my vehicle started beeping at me. I took it to these guys who checked it out and reset the computer and wouldn't let me pay them. The mechanic was great.took my car in to get the back hatch fixed. The guy opened it and told my husband how yo fix it temporarily and to order the part on amazon and how to fix it. He then replaced a bulb on my break light. Didnt want any money for his time and work. Best mechanic ever.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Had my car a month. Couldn't get anyone to answer the phone to check on it. Went to pick it up and the guy said that he did a pressure check and it needed a new motor. Took it somewhere last night and it was fixed by noon today. It was a fuel injector issue. Glad I got a second opinion before I spent $4000 on a motor it didn't need! Great customer service! This family-owned business quoted a fair price when my car didn t start on a weekend. Since I was headed back to KC, he was able to get me in first thing Monday morning. I was on vacation to Lake Of The Ozarks with a buddy pulling his boat from Central Illinois where I live. I have a new superduty and was experiencing some issues. Due to the warranty reasons, I nursed the truck home n let the dealership take care of it but they was 100% accurate on the diagnosis. This trip will be a every year thing for me n my buddy so if I ever have any problems in the future, I won't hesitate to let them do the repair. Very professional n accurate diagnosis. Started my 2016 Subaru Forester and 5 warning lights came on the dashboard. So on the recommendation of another Auto repair business, I drove over to J&J. Cody and Jr immediately took another car off their lift and looked under my engine compartment and found that a chipmunk had chewed a wire. They fixed it fast and professionally. I could not recommend these two guys more enthusiastically .. I found my new go to auto repair place in Sunrise Beach Missouri!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

We had an issues with our car on the day we needed to take a trip to see about a sick family member. Went to J&J and they were fantastic to work with. Explained our issue and were told they would take care of our car right away so we could get on the road. The owner took my husband home so he didn't have to sit and wait and came back and picked him up to get our car. (We live less than 3 miles away but it would have been a long walk on a very hot summer day.) We will absolutely take our car back to them! Highly recommend.Service: Steering & suspension repair

From out of town, our daughter was passing through Sunrise Beach, alone, in our 2007 Accord on a Friday evening in September 2020 when one of the drive axles broke. Noticing the disabled car just down the street, the guys at J&J explained to me the problem on the phone (we live about two hours away), helped her get the car to their shop, and had it repaired by noon on Saturday. If ever there was an opportunity for an auto repair shop to take advantage of a vulnerable customer this was it. But J&J was courteous to our daughter, made her feel safe, charged us a more than fair rate for the repair, and made a quality repair (I inspected their work when the car got home). Based on our single experience with J&J, they are trustworthy, respectful, and fair.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Have been using them since we moved to the lake five years ago. Very knowledgeable on all aspects of auto's and even help with my side x side. Glad we were referred to them. Just had my wife's car fixed there that a dealer couldn't. He saved the parts to so what was bad. Fast,reliable knowledgable,and trustworthy. These guys have worked on my vehicle a couple times now and they worked around my work schedule. The quality of work is top of the line. I just had my front end worked on and it feels like I'm driving a new vehicle. I cant see myself ever going elsewhere for my car needs.

Awesome service....needed an injector replaced on my 2001 F350, 7.3l diesel. They did the work as soon as the part came in and I was on the road again in two days. Corey and Big Mac were great!!

Great place for quality work on any vehicle. My wife and I have used J&J at different times for any one of our three vehicles. They have rescued me twice, once when the starter went out while parked facing down hill at a crowded resort. Second was during an ice storm and we were wrecked on hwy. 5 just down from the fire station. Had my granddaughter and dogs in the car. They came and got us home. What can ya say about above and beyond. These guys are the best at what they do.

We were on vacation and headed home when we had car trouble. They took the time to diagnose the problem and offered to get us in that day so we could get back on the road. Very helpful and friendly!
