We needed a jump start on the coldest day of my lifetime! Kirksville Autoworks took care of us very quickly. The end result was a new battery at a great price and awesome customer service! Would highly recommend and we will be returning for future maintenance.

These guys are phenomenal! Every single person that we dealt with at Kirksville Autoworks went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. They went over and above to help my daughter and me when she was having car problems at the college. I think they really try and work with all of the college students (and their out of town parents) who are often dealing with these situations on their own for the first time. I highly recommend them!

Appreciate the guys helping my daughter out with a hubcap situation! They checked her oil while she was in as well. Told her it was clean and no need to change yet. Nice place and good folks. Will definitely use again.

I originally would have given this place a 5 star rating. I m a new driver who doesn t have a lot of knowledge on anything, and I went here to get an oil change on my car. Everyone there was really nice (even gave me a cookie), and I really felt like they explained everything to me. They told me that my coolant was low and needed to be flushed out and refilled because the next time it got super cold, my coolant would freeze, and to make sure to get it done before the next cold snap. They also told me that the next time I got an oil change to have my break pads looked at again because they might need to be replaced at that time. I m a college student, and noticed that it was going to be extra cold in Kville this upcoming week and wanted to make sure to get the coolant taken care of in my hometown before I went back for the spring semester. I go to Walmart to get this done, because a friend of mine works there and said this specific location was pretty reliable with this sort of thing. I go, and they are VERY confused as to why I need this service. I explain what I was told, and they go to check my car for me- I am COMPLETELY full on coolant. There is even coolant in my overflow tank, and it is a very bright pink color (I learned that this means it s not very old or dirty or anything- again, new driver/car owner). They send me home, and I have my partners dad (a mechanic for longer than I ve been alive) take my car to his own shop and give my car a FULL check-up to make sure I know exactly what condition my car is in, with me watching him the whole time. He confirms my coolant is perfectly fine, AND that my breaks are ALSO totally fine (front ones look new, back ones are only used about 50%). I m really upset, as I try to be responsible and looked into this place before going to make sure it was reliable, and I had been so relieved to feel like I was being educated and treated with respect as a young kid trying to navigate new parts of life. My oil change was around 40-45 dollars from what I remember- I don t know if that s below or above the average price but it went fine- I have no complaints about that. I just feel like I was lied to and I almost spent SO much money that as a college student I really do NOT have on something I didn t need. I also spent so much time worrying about getting these things done for no reason!! If you go here for basic maintenance and they tell you about things your car might need, I would maybe suggest getting a second opinion. Really disappointed with my experience.

Kirksville Autoworks is awesome! I had a coolant leak they were able to solve my problem quickly and efficiently at a fair price! My favorite mechanic in town for sure

Kirksville Autoworks is definitely one of the best places i ve went to. They have the most friendly staff and are very reliable. They answer questions and are very patient and do the best work I know! Will definitely come back even if it s a little bit of a drive!!

Autoworks is very friendly and works with their customers to keep vehicles working and safe. They have done a wonderful job communicating with us as well as warranty companies to give the best. We have gone to them for both towing and vehicle issues. I highly recommend them. They also have specials each week like discounts for Truman and ladies. Kirksville Autoworks is great. Austin and the group are so helpful and accommodating. Austin is fabulous and works with my schedule. They are always so helpful and patient about answering questions or resolving issues. I highly recommend! Rachel, Shonetel & the crew at Kirksville Autoworks went ABOVE & BEYOND for me when I had 2 flat tires yesterday. They were able to quickly tow my car to their shop where they replaced & balanced my tires & they even saved me money by repairing my rim. These ladies told me to go on about my day & sent me on my way while they took care of everything, which was such a relief! My car was ready within 24 hours & my invoice was much cheaper than I had anticipated. The amazing customer service at Kirksville Autoworks is why I highly recommend this business. Had a flat tire, the tower came over and filled it up for me free of charge so that I could drive over there. I had a piece of plastic stuck in my tire. They removed it and patched it up. The process was quick, painless, and only $20. The employees were super nice. Overall a great experience.Service: TiresService: Tires

These guys are great!Their service is professional and warm. This is the second time they have had to pick up my wrecked vehicle and help me manage the insurance process. Caleb did the pick-up and made the experience as comfortable as possible.... I was surprised and delighted that he found it on that country road!When I asked for a repair estimate, my vehicle was examined quickly -bent frame! - so that I could move on with my claim. I did not catch the man's name, but when it was time to clear out my belongings, I was treated respectfully and given assistance getting everything together and transferred to my rental.Rachel is knowledgeable and clear which I really appreciated. She never assumed I knew the process and was forthcoming with information for me.While I did not have them actually do work on my car, these experiences with them give me confidence that this is the place for my repair needs!

Wonderful and warm shop!! Amazing people and always excellent service! I could not recommend them more highly!!I come all the way to Kirksville from Columbia for all four of our family's vehicles. That tells you something. Best and most honest car service I've ever had. Awesome folks.

Had to get my car inspected and get the fuel neck replaced. They got me in a few days after and worked super efficiently. Front desk worker was very pleasant to talk to and had a vast knowledge of cars, so explaining things to me was very easy for her. Quick, friendly, helpful, the nice Woman behind the counter did my VIN verification without hesitation so i could register my vehicle in MO. A seperate previous time she aired up my tire due to a nail she saw in the tire, and professionally advised me to get in pluged ASAP.

My car got towed on Sunday. I asked the tow man to inform the mechanic that they should call my dad instead of me and gave them his name and number then asked when it would be done. He said Sundays are slow and they could have it done by the end of the day. Monday i called and they dont work Sundays and would have never been able to do it then. They said they would look at it tomorrow. It was not looked at until Wednesday afternoon during which the mechanic informed me she was unsure if she was to call me or if I was to call her. She also said she didn't have my father's number and asked me about the parts id need to order. I told her to call my dad. She did and the part was in on Thursday. She informed me it would be fixed either Thursday night or Friday morning. I called again on Friday in the afternoon and she said it would be up in 20 minutes. My car was not done until 1.37 on Saturday. It cost upwards of $375 for the tow and the starter getting replaced and they would not answer my father's calls for the most part. Overall the mechanic I spoke to was short and quick to get off the phone.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had an emergency flat tire and I pulled into this shop and they fixed it for me immediately. The repair man quit was he was working on and fixed my tire right then. I live 30 miles from Kirksville and had my family with me so it was so kind of them to fix it so I wasn t stranded. Highly recommend this shop to anyone - professional, kind and great customer service! Thanks again!

Caleb and his whole team are fantastic! They always are on top of getting my vehicles worked in when able and always take the time to help explain what's going on. They are always the first place I go whenever I have car issues as well for routine oil changes and maintenance!

Well I would start from the beginning. I called and told the receptionist what I needed done which was put 4 tires on and an alignment. Told me it would take 1 hour for the alignment and 45 minutes for the tires. 6 hours later my car was done. I was not informed that my vehicle would be taken elsewhere to have the alignment done, which was at Troy Mills auto which I do not like. When getting my vehicle back, the alignment was worse than when I took it in. I did not bother letting anyone know because I was not happy with the service to begin with. But I thought I would try. Upon bringing my vehicle back, they told me some bolts were bad and going to cost $140 for those and another $75 to align again. I told them I would tack my business elsewhere. This should have been dealt with from the beginning. Worst auto repair shop I ve ever been to.

Ever since I moved to Kirksville about a year and a half ago I've been coming to Kirksville Autoworks for all my car needs. They are always friendly, honest, and give me prompt service even when they're really busy. They do everything they can to help you out and give fair pricing. They truly care about their customers and go out of their way to give excellent customer service. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my car due to how happy I have been with them. I recommended everyone I know to them. Honestly, if you have a car problem or need maintenance give them a try. They won't do anything to your car until they give you an estimate over the phone or in person, something I really appreciate.

Derek provided excellent customer service to get me the best job for the best price. I damaged the front bumper of my new car and instead of just writing up an estimate and charging me for everything, he took time to go through the options with me, explaining my choices for bumper replacement, and spending time explaining the painting process. He was willing to explain anything in detail, and they even provided transportation back home while it was in the shop. He was 100% goal oriented in making sure I was happy with everything, and I definitely am.

Honestly the best autoshop I've ever been to. The staff always goes above and beyond to help their customers. Went to this shop for 4 years while going to Truman and I miss the service I received here. When my battery died and AAA had them tow my car to their shop, they stayed open late to be sure I could get back on the road. They are honest about their pricing and will walk you through the cost of each service. The front desk is excellent and always calls before having the mechanics work on your car and there are no surprises once you get the bill. They are also incredibly accomidating and kind. This is the absolute best place to take your car in all of Missouri.
