This is the second time this has happened! I m never getting an oil change from Valvoline again! Their staff isn t properly trained and they don t know what they re doing. This is the second skid plate they ve had to replace! It s best to avoid this Valvoline altogether. They suck! I tried to get ahold of the manager, they made all their calls go straight to voicemail. They re cowards too, I guess.

Usually like this place as they have a good staff. Today the car in front of me stayed in the bay while the other two lines were moving at top speed. I noticed there was no one working on the car in my bay and told one of the guys that I had been there about an hour and a half. He told me they were going to give me a hefty discount and scanned my VIN number. In a minute another guy came out and asked me to back up so the car next to me could go in front of me. So the cars that entered the line maybe 4 and 5 cars behind me they were going to be served before me. I left without an oil change. Back to Jiffy Lube I guess.

I came to this place at 7:50am just to make sure I m here early and I m still sitting here at 8:20 and nobody has even attempted to come out and say anything. The garages are still closed. This business needs to work on being prompt and actually caring about people s time. At 8:20 is when I was told it would be 20 -25 more minutes due to workers not being there. Like wow

I absolutely loved the staff during my experience! I hate myself for not catching the name of who I assume to be the manager (brown hair, brown eyes, mid twenties). He impressed me with his customer service through conversation and the grace he showed when I was embarrassed at the mess in my car. He also took the time to explain what services would benefit me and why, while not trying to sell me unnecessary things. Never in my life would I have thought leaving an oil change would have me thinking to myself, that was fun. Moving from Hays, KS to KC, I had not yet found a place for these services that I ve wanted to claim as my main place, so I m grateful to have found this one. This is officially my spot, and now will be for my family as well! Hats off to the manager of this location and the efficiency of the staff! I hope this review finds them . They deserve the acknowledgment and praise!

Never again will I come here. First time I came for an oil change then 2 weeks later my oil light came on because it was low. My son took it 3 weeks ago for an oil change and now my engine is blown because there was no oil in the engine. Found out I wasn't the only customer who had this problem at this location.

I usually go to Raytown location but was closer to this one knew something was going to be wrong when I pulled in the bay and saw the staff clowning around .but I stayed, left and went home, the next day my truck engine light came on and it started rough idling and smoking. I called and had to report it and make a claim. Took it back they checked my oil and it was overfilled they re-did my oil change only to find out that the old oil was never drained and new oil was put on top of it. Took about 2 weeks to find a mechanic and shop to repair it. I WILL NEVER GO BACK to this LOCATION OR VALVOLINE ever again. They definitely lost a 5+yr Loyal customer.

This place destroyed my daughter's engine and won't take accountability for it. They didn't put all the parts back in and the oil leaked out - they denied responsibility without sending someone to look at the mess they made of the engine. I will be seeing them in court as I file to sue them for the new engine, rental car, and all other costs associated with this.Service: Oil change

Very unsatisfied with the work done. I reached out to customer service and was told that location would contact me within 24 hrs with a solution. It's been over a week. I couldn't reach location manager and customer service kept pushing me to wait till I hear from manager at the warnall location, but never heard back from anyone. I paid $100.00 for an oil change. Oil is leaking everywhere under my truck. Why wasn't this checked before I left. I noticed it as soon as I got home.

I was the first person there. I was there before the staff. I waited patiently. I was in the stall for over 40 minutes, to be told to move to the third stall, because the first one was full of oil . He couldn t dump the old oil. So, I moved while I m waiting. Someone pulls up to the first stall where I was original at and they proceed to change they oil. I stated that I thought it was full , that s why I had to moved. No responseSaturday morning very disappointed

Took my car in to get an oil change on Jan 14, now I have an oil leak. I took it back to the location and the gentleman seems to think it was residual oil. I was born at night, just not last night. Never again!!!

DO NOT GO TO HERE!!! I came to get my oil changed, later that day I noticed oil leaking. I went back the next to morning inform of the issue. The store manager did absolutely nothing to try in resolve my issue. I will be opening a case with the BBB and what ever other action I need to take until it s resolved. No one should have to go through an inconvenience with their car because someone came to work with an attitude! He then proceeded to top my car off per what the store manager Alex told him to do and a message pops up on my car for oil to be drained we the oil change should have been done over from the beginning! I m so pissed!!!

I sat in line for 20 minutes while I watched 8 workers stand around, enjoy smoke breaks, mess around on their phones. No one had a sense of urgency at all. I also saw a mouse run across a few of the bays.. nasty. They allowed a kid that they knew to cut in the line and get his oil changed before me. Overall just not impressed. I would rather go out of my way to a further location than come back to this one. 0/10 experience. Seemed very unorganized and all over the place to be honest.

I let the employee know I'd need an oil change and tire rotation. I gave him the lug nut he'd need for my tires and he laughed saying "what are you trying to give me this for!?" I said I think you need it for the tires. He said I don't know what this is. Go give it to that man" pointing to another employee. I told him about it, he said "I think I've seen these before". I told him if he wasn't comfortable with it I could wait on the rotation. He said it'll be fine. It was awkward. I paid and left. A few stoplights later, I notice on the panel around my shifter an area was dull and chafed looking! I thought maybe they accidentally smeared it with something-I was driving so I couldn't assess fully. When I got home, I got a cloth, wiped it and it didn't go away. The clear coat was eroded or something! I know it was fine before I came in. I don't know if I upset one of them by not having confidence in the tire rotation or what but scuffing my shifter panel was mean. I have had my car for 10 months, bought it brand new. It is my dream car. I drive a lot and that area will drive me crazy every time I look down. I'm so disappointed this could happen when servicing my vehicle at Valvoline

Outstanding customer service from the start and to the completion. I love how you can stay in your car when you have maintenance done to your vehicle. Definitely take advantage of those discount codes,it can save you a lot! I was in and out in about fifteen minutes! Highly recommended!

The employees here were very friendly and quickly changed my car s oil. Even though it was 100+ degrees I never heard a single complaint from them. Thank you for your service!!

I would highly recommend avoiding this place if you can, especially for tire rotations. They damaged my vehicle when doing a tire rotation (snapped 2 lug nut studs) and I had to stay there for 3 HOURS while they tried to repair it. They refused to pay for it to be towed to a mechanic that knows how to fix it and instead it seemed like they just tried to figure it out themselves. Every time I asked for an ETA, the manager told me 5 minutes and everyone seemed very uncertain while working on my vehicle. I tried to get this done over my lunch break, as they advertise speedy service, and I ended up having to take time off and dealing with damage to my vehicle. Their repair was poorly done and I had to go to a mechanic to get it fixed, which so far they have refused to reimburse.

Dinikko, Lashae, Luis, Charles all were so so great. I had my headlight replaced, oil change and an entire fuel system cleaning. They all were efficient, professional, knowledgeable and competent. Did a great job. Well everyone in the workshop center was great. As I waited on my fuel system cleaning I watched them all and they all knew and performed their jobs with efficiency.Service: Oil change

I'll be back. The team was super nice and gave the best deals they had on their services. I had to move bays because I needed a tire rotation and they made sure to move me ahead of the line that had formed. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I asked twice to make sure to put a little air in the tires because they were low and they didn't. It was late and they were past their closing time so I didn't go back but stuff happens. Their service was great enough otherwise that I will still go back.

I won t go anywhere else. The team at this location is exceptional. Every person I ve met here over the last 2 years has been friendly, professional, honest and kind. One time, my oil really didn t need to be changed. It wasn t low, it looked good. They said they d gladly perform the service but wanted me to know that Subaru recommended 5K between changes instead of the 3K that I thought it was. Who does this? They do! I have my cabin filter, air filter and wiper blades changed here, too. They ve earned my trust and I m happy to give them the business. The guys are great and I love that I ve also met 2 women that work here. Impressive service in every way.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

My favorite Valvoline location is10150 Wornall RoadKansas City, MO 64114I have been going there for over 20 years. I feel like a valued customer every time. I have never had to go back for a "do over."My observations during my visits have been friendly, profession service. The teams appear to work well with their customers and with one another to take care of every vehicle. No idle standing around. No attitude just because you came into the shop.This is not so for some other locations. So, I really appreciate this location and do not mind traveling a distance across town to give them my business.Service: Oil change

NOT ENOUGH WORKERS AT OPENING, DIDN'T GET IN TILL ANOTHER GUY SHOWED UP. BUT GAVE ME A DISCOUNT RATE AND GREAT SERVICE. No fault to manager he was very intelligent and curious mostly personally concerned. Will return for next oil change, update returned staff was pleasant I actually hated to leave, service was completely fine, actually talked me thru every step before, during and after. Think I'm in love with this location But today I ask tech about my blinker fluid he actually looked ,we all laughed , good humor never fails .

Horrible store. I had wornall store call & see if they had an oil filter for my car at another store and then I get there and someone tells me they can t do my oil change because they do not have my filter. Shop on wornall wouldn t accept any cars cause they couldn t dump their oil. Took a couple hours off work to get this done. Wasted my own time and money & still was not able to get an oil change at another valvoline today.
