My wife took her Ford Edge in for service. The backup camera stopped working a few weeks ago, and then the dual-zone climate control started acting up. She was told it was 2 separate problems and was charged 2 diagnosis fees. They found and repaired the climate control issue (blend door), but told my wife they would have to charge her more to find out the exact issue with the camera as they would have to remove and test it before they could be sure? She declined, paying over $740.00 for a blend door, and brought home a list of "recommended services" for her vehicle. Several of the "recommended services" I recently had done at Gary Crossley. When I asked why they would recommend services that were just done, I was told, "Those were recommended services based on mileage." That doesn't change the fact that we just had them done. Be very cautious when taking your vehicle here. They will charge you for services they do not complete and recommend services you don't need.

My vehicle was delayed due to the chip shortage and there were other concerns as the unit had been sitting. Kayla Asher and her team were outstanding in helping to ensure my vehicle met my expectations. This team texted me daily with updates as if this vehicle was their own. I will do all my future business with Gary Crossley. Thanks again!Services: Auto battery replacement, Electrical, Vehicle Inspection, Auto battery maintenance

Dropped the car off prior to an appointment at 1:15 pm for some recalls. Was told the car would be done in 1-2 hours and they would call me once it s done. Fast forward 5 hours and I hadn t heard anything. Called and got no answer. Called the sales department who told me that they closed at 6pm and no one was there in the service department to help me. Bear in mind, Google says the service department closes at 8pm. Requested to speak to any manager there and they got me in touch with the service department manager who then told me it would be done by noon the following day and they would drive it to my house personally due to the inconvenience. It s now 12:25pm and the car still isn t in my driveway. If you have recalls, take your vehicles elsewhere as they severely dropped the ball on this one

My husband and I dropped off my vehicle on Sunday evening for an appt I scheduled for Monday. I took my vehicle in to have an oil change. Last time I took it in this cost $99. I requested the tires to be rotated too. The service guy, Noman?, told me it would be $180 to do this service. When I asked why so much, he told me it was required that I have my tires balanced too. Like I didn't have an option to say no. He was short with me and seemed irritated to have to call me since I was not there. When he asked me how I wanted to be updated about my car, I said text was fine. I didn't know that meant he would never contact me again to verbally explain what was being done or explain the docusign paperwork. I had also asked them to fix a chrome piece on the back quarter panel window. The seal was not holding it in place, so it is sticking out. I was told a piece would need to be ordered. A little later in the day, I received an email to docusign and approve or decline services. I saw a $75 fee next to the window repair. I thought that was how much it was to fix it. The quote for a new window was $788. I just wanted it fixed. Well, come to find out, $75 was just for the window guy to look at it! Seriously??? I've been looking at it for free! There was also a $14 charge for someone to check the battery charge. Which I did not ask for, but was charged for it and given a piece of paper with a picture of the instrument they used showing the charge. To check the air filter, I was charge $20.00, but the filter was back ordered, so I didn't have to pay the fee for the filter. Needless to say, I was not happy. We bought the car from Bob Allen, so we contacted our sales person, Woody. He did some calling and checking on getting it fixed and is going to have their body shop fix the chrome piece. Gary Crossley Ford is alot closer, but we will keep our business at Bob Allen Ford going forward.Service: Auto maintenance

New to the area brought in my car for a recall, THEY PUT THE WRONG AIRBAG IN MY CAR. They called me after I picked it up saying I d have to do this process all over again and hopefully the tech gets the right airbag in. I asked if it was even safe to drive my car because I had scheduled and planned ahead to have this done before needing my car the rest of the week and they said I don t know went to drop off my car this evening after hours and their drop box had no envelopes in it. This place is poorly operated.

I have been bringing my vehicle to Gary Crossley for about a year for routine services after having multiple poor experiences at another Ford dealership. I just took it in for a check engine light diagnostic, and the service was extremely poor from beginning to end. They didn t even begin looking at my car until it had been in the shop for over an hour and 15 minutes, then they quoted me 3 times more for labor (to replace a single purge valve) than surrounding auto service centers. Additionally, they told me it would take about 45 minutes to complete the service but wanted to charge three hours of labor at $150 an hour (because the technicians are more skilled and experienced than other places of business). Then, I waited half an hour just for them to release my vehicle to me after deciding to take it elsewhere for services. So, 2 hours and 45 minutes and a $166 diagnostic fee later, safe to say I will not be going back. I just hope my review will help the next person avoid being overcharged and taken advantage of by this establishment s poor service and dishonesty.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Scheduled my car for oil change, tire rotation, tire balance, vehicle inspection and diagnostic for power steering noise on a Friday at 10:00 AM. Jordan (service intake desk) asked how long I was able to wait or leave my car. I told him I could leave it all day Friday and Saturday and would pick it up Sunday. Jordan said he would contact me once he knew what the power steering problem was and we would go from there if any further services were required other that what was originally scheduled. After five hours we decided to call since we had not heard anything from Jordan. Jordan said he was still chasing down the power steering issue . Saturday at 2:30 PM MY husband called STILL HAVING NOT HEAR WORD from the service department. To our utter shock not only was my car not finished but NONE OF THE WORK had been accomplished in the two days they had my car. The technician that was (according to the person we talked to on Saturday) was not even in the shop until Monday.. wonder if management will be discussed with with their staff enough to call us.

So far this Ford Service department is 0/2 for repairing our Ord vehicles. Unless you enjoy spending thousands of dollars only to find your vehicle has the exact same issues as before go to Gary Crossley. We have had two vehicles "repaired" by these only to find them running as if they weren't even touched. This is multiple times. Thousands of dollars of repairs, on work vehicles (more money lost). Learn from our mistake. Go elsewhere.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic
