Minich's has been taking care of my car for many years now. They're always great about telling me what needs to happen and being transparent with pricing. I work nights so good communication is key when dropping off my car. No pushy sales and I'm always satisfied with the work done.

I had a problem with my F150. The manual transmission stopped working these guys quoted me a price and then repaired it and told me it was less than the quoted price. My truck was repaired correctly and I saved money. In these times it s unheard of having honest people doing great work. I ll be sending friends and my future business to them.

I got to my appointment and they got me right in. I had taken my car to a different shop and they couldn't figure out the noise. This place figured it out right away and got the part and had it fixed in a little over an hour. Would recommend them, for sure.

Been going here for my last 10 shop visits. Fantastic service and prices. They ve been helpful, especially so when I ve opted to buy my own parts and have them do the labor. I recommend this place to all my friends.

Bought a car from a dealership close to Minichs a few months ago. There was a laundry list of repairs I discovered after the purchase that I was unaware of. I brought the car to Minichs a few days ago. They heard me out and gave me options. Told me the truth rather than lie for monetary gain like the dealership did. Now working on the car slowly as funds become available. Appreciate their honesty which is hard to come by in this business. Good people for us hard working folks out there.

I had some problems with the switch on my bus. I called this gentleman up out of the blue I seen all the great reviews on his website he told me to come down minutes before closing. I brought my bus down within minutes he fixed my switch and got me back on the road. He's professional, highly mechanically inclined I highly recommend him.

Minichs has been amazing and is well deserved to be highly rated. I have a work vehicle and personal that I ve taken here and they ve got me in within a day or two where as good year would take over s week and then lose my appointment. Even an engine issue the turn around was fairly quick and I was called daily with updates. Love this place for any car work and it s affordable

An absolute professional and honest car repair location. I recommend their diagnostic testing to everyone here in the Kansas City area. They evaluated my 2001 Dodge Caravan for a head gasket problem. Turns out I need a new motor which I'm still deciding.Thank you Minichs!

Transmission was acting up, so I took my car over to a friend's workplace, where he had an OBD reader. Came up with the transmission fluid pressure reading low. Took it to Minic's to have it fixed, probably just a bad sensor (which is what it ended up being). I figured it would be around a $200, maybe $300, fix. I was shocked to find the overall bill was $400, with labor $225 of that, and there was no description of what labor was performed. I got a breakdown when I replied to how the car was doing, and was appalled at an automatic diagnostic fee of $125 (despite giving them the OBD code) and a labor rate that is near the top of the market. Also, the car was ready on a Friday, and they were closing early, so I had to make alternative arrangements to get my car. At least they helped with arrangements.Overall, not impressed. They're competent, which is worth three stars IMO, but that's where my positive feelings pretty much end.Service: Transmission

This used to be our go to place for having work done on our cars. I had even sent some people this way. Last couple of times though we had gotten some outrageous quotes, something in the nature of 300% markup on parts, and while I'm not a mechanic I do have a history of fixing my own stuff. The first time we got a quote like that we decided to purchase the parts ourselves, we were then informed at that time in the future they would have to charge us higher labor if we used our own parts. Fast forward to the recent time that we went, we were quoting something quite outrageous and what the problems were when we went to grab the car. So we took it to another shop and put it up on a lift and looked under it ourselves and what we were told was wildly incorrect.They treated us good in the past, but we increasingly stopped trusting what they were saying here over the past 3 years, if you come here I would suggest getting a second quote, something just stopped feeling alright about this place.

Minichs is always our go-to for auto repair in the Northland! Their service and communication is excellent and their prices are always reasonable. We take all of our vehicles there for everything from engine repair to A/C issues to just standard maintenance like oil changes and brakes. Minich s Auto Repair is our number 1 place to take our cars. They always do a great job and take care of us quickly. We needed the brakes fixed on my Subaru. I found this shop by accident (they were the closest to me when I broke down) but I absolutely LOVE the service and kindness of the employees! They give honest time-frames, reasonable rates, and keep it real with customers. Im SO appreciative & will continue to bring my cars here in the future! Thanks so much Minich's!!!

So nice to find a mechanic shop that isn't trying to rip you off and add things that need to be fixed to make more money. The Minich's are professional and do quality work! I will definitely be taking my car back for other repairs and highly recommend them for your car repair needs.

This is the best mechanic shop that I have experienced! Minich does quality work for decent prices. The owners care about their employees, customers, and it shows through the company's work. Great technicians and great prices. I took my car there to get the a\c fixed. They diagnosed the problem but my new car uses a special refrigerant that they don't have. They have me a referral to another shop. I tried to pay but they wouldn't accept my payment. What integrity!

Best customer service I've ever received on a car repair. My car was done in a day, the staff were pleasant, communicative, knew exactly what they were doing and explained it to me clearly. Lovely experience. Erin was an absolute delight and I might have a crush on her.

Took the car in to have it checked out due to overheating. They did a great job identifying the cause, fixed it and checked to make sure nothing else was wrong.Will definitely be using them again in the future, especially since they are so close to my house!

My vehicles service engine soon light came on and I took it to Minich's. They quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue. They clearly explained the work needed to be completed to me. If you're looking for an honest and affordable repair shop, Minich's is it.

Man I have used this auto shop so many times since hearing about it a few years back great mechanics and Keleen the owner is very hands on, they do great work.My daughter just called me about one of their vehicles went over and checked out the obvious, still won t start so they are having it towed to his shop and I know they will get it back on the road. I loved the service they did on my Chevy Equinox! They replaced my timing chains for half the price the dealership wanted to do it for! They even changed my oil, replaced my air filter and my cabin filter without me even asking! It was all rolled into the estimate they gave me! They were super fast and very nice! Will bring my car back here next time it needs something!
