We are a local business that had one of our vehicles stolen and damaged so much that no other shop felt comfortable even quoting it. I had a really good experience with this Maaco. I had pulled too far into a parking spot with a steep hill in front of it and wound up tearing my front bumper off. When I went to Maaco, they took a lot of pictures of my bumper to make sure that they would be able to give me an accurate estimate. During my bumper repair, they kept me informed of the things that they found along the way. Even telling me that they found a rusted bolt on my transmission mount and replaced and tightened it because it was the right thing to do. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that needs body repair done for their vehicle

First paint job completed in 2 weeks with several bad spots. Told to come back in 3 weeks for corrections to be completed. Did so. They kept my truck for additional 2 months with excuses after excuses for why they couldn't get it done. Told it's being sanded and waiting on paint. A month later went to check on it and it was still untouched, not even sanded. After multiple calls I decided to just go get my truck and was told it's in paint line. I understand they have to make money but I paid without quibble and they kept putting me at the back of the line. After threatening to take it and sue, they completed it the next week, with some blemishes uncorrected. I expected better from Maaco!Service: Painting

Now that I've had my truck back for a month, I can see the horrible job these guys did. I thought that since these guys paint for a business nationwide, that I would at least get a decent paint job. My truck looks like two different paint jobs on the same truck! Highly buffed areas are cracking and other areas not buffed. They forgot to put the antenna back on, they painted the tailgate lock! What a horrible experience and their response to these feedbacks are automated and go dierctly back to the people who did the shabby work. I am seriously considering legal action due to extra cost I paid for best paint job!Service: Painting

Don t take your vehicle here if you intend to actually get it back. My dealership has a contract with them for body work and they had my car so long I spend hundreds in car rentals, lost my 2nd job and ended up having to get a new car and still had to pay my deductible!!! I m a single mother of 3 kids and this was the worst 6 weeks of my life, I was told every week it would be ready the following week for 6 whole weeks, I was given the run around. I finally went to check on my car during a pop up visit on a Wednesday and found my car still in pieces and that they still needed parts , while I was told on the phone the day before that it be ready by that Friday. The general manager wouldn t even come out to talk to me when he was the once insuring me it would be done. This place is terrible 0/10 do not recommend

Avoid this Maaco at all cost if you value your vehicle. My son and I had one classic car ready to be painted after we had done most of the body preparation plus we had three more classic cars lined up if the experience turned out to be a good one...Well, let me tell you this fellow potential customers, do not waste your money there.We brought the car in with the agreement that if we removed all the trims and did most of the patch work ourselves, Maaco was going to take care of all the "Light chip and Scratch repair" as written in the printed document given to us.We did just that and were under the impression that the OBVIOUS CHIPPING in the front of the car was going to be handled by Maaco otherwise my son and I we could have taken care of it.Instead, they just painted over making the car look like darn swiss cheese.It would have taken us at most a couple hours to take care of this but now we have a classic car looking terrible.Paint dripping, holes on the front end, dust painted over protruding through the paint, greasy spots under the paint, etc I am attaching a few pictures for all to see the marvelous work!Last but not least, when I asked the salesman why he did not call us to warn that this was going to be an issue we should take care of before the paint is applied, he gave us a whole attitude like this is the paint job we paid for and it would cost us $700 to fix their own appalling work and when I asked why he was getting upset since I am the customer I should be the one voicing my discontent, he just walked out on me and my son without offering an alternative Well I guess we have learned our $1050.00 lesson here and will never, ever have dealings with Maaco anywhere and will make sure we spread the word!

Mike at Marco is definitely a professional. My truck begin 2 weeks, and what he did quote for the repair of two passengers doors, the left front fender( my kids scratched it, and 2 vents, one near the gas cap( lower and closer to the left quarter. The Silverado emblem needs to be re-attached and the truck detailed,, all in all, it's been good service. They are real busy, and from what I saw, they do amazing work! The passenger entrance still needs paint. They fixed the dent on the rocker panel, now it just needs the black paint!

Had my 1996 Honda Civic Midori Paint. Pretty Rare Color that came on this car. Look amazing when it was finished and didn t cost much at all! Best deal around!

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER Take even your tricycle to these MORONS. I had them paint my hood and right front fender for around $775 on my 97 chev tahoe. The vehicle came back looking like you could stock it with fish with all the pond effects due to improper sanding and feathering. After several conversations with CJ, and talking the corporate office complaining, they repainted again with a better result but not $775 worth. Now the paint is peeling 15 mos later. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE AS THIS PLACE "SUCKS!!"Service: Painting

The work they did was okay. My car makes noises like something is grinding or just doesn t fit quite right. But my main issues was that I had multiple things stolen out of my car and my car was left a mess like they were looking through it. It had front end damage so why would they need to be rifling through my trunk and backseat. Definitely do not recommend. Bunch of thief sService: Body & Trim

Took my Chevrolet to them. They did a little bit of bodywork and painted me GM white just like I asked. Turnaround time was 6 days and price was really reasonable. Good service. Would repeat as a customer

It took 2 months for them to fix my car and were very bad at responding back to my calls/text in a timely fashion. They seemed overwhelmed, highly unorganized and were walking around in circles giving me misleading updates about my car. While I m glad my car got fixed. It was not worth it to go through all of the mishaps of a disfuncional body shop. They sold me a deal where if I found parts to the car then the service would be cheaper. I ended up getting the wrong parts, had to send them back and ended up loosing extra money. I would have preferred to go to a shop where I did not have all of those mishaps.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

This Maaco is horrible. Was quoted 1 week for a paint job. By the time it's finally ready for pick up nearly 3 weeks later, I arrive only to see they painted it the wrong color. Tried to talk me into settling for their mistake and keeping it that color. Was offered a top coat for free, but still paid more than what I was originally quoted to begin with. 0/10 would not recommend.Service: Painting

Usually I don t take the time to write reviews but I just wanted to say Nate was extremely helpful and super friendly he said they don t do estimates over the phone, but he said he understood my situation and was willing to help, once I get my transmission fixed I ll be taking my car there for a new paint job!

Shame on these people for pretending to be professional. They misplaced my estimate and could not find it in their system and even though I had a copy of it they act like they with it didn't know what to do with. They were very unprofessional and wanted me to bring my car back on a Monday to do another estimate. Please I will never go back to these guys and they use a lot of profanity as well when talking to you.I live in Kansas City Kansas and so I took my car to the next best place with the lowest estimate and lo and behold they matched Maacos price.

My car gas filter door was damaged by a ROADSIDE SERVICE, so I have to replace it. Order it from Kia Dealership were i purchased my brand new car from (2021), they don't have a body shop. That's another story. So I took this small part to MAACO , he said he would have to paint my WHOLE SUV in order to paint this small car part. That's a BIG NOOOO. SERVICE guy was ???

5 months ago, I took my car to get a paint and body&trim. They looked at the car and told me they will take the job, just to leave it in the dust for 1 month with no work, also to tell me to pay 400$ More for my car to be work on. Plus I paid the 400$ Only to be told the worker who was working on my car he left work. I told them to put my car back and I paid them about 1500$ Only to leave with my body parts not put back, very unprofessional. If you can t handle the car or rebuild it please don t take the car and say you will fix it. It saves people time and money. ThanksServices: Painting, Body & Trim

I spoke with the Manager Travis a couple times before actually making an appointment to get an estimate. He was always great to talk with helpful with any questions I had. When scheduling the appointment and bringing my truck by......your worst fear is this is gonna be a waste of time. They are not gonna give me the same deal we talked about over the phone..but much to my surprise Travis came through my estimate was exactly what we had discussed and he let me know the positives and negatives of going with the type of paint package I did...extremely helpful.When I picked the truck up, I was very impressed with the quality of the paint job. The truck looked amazing and when getting the bill it was exactly the estimated price no "hidden" costs added on. I would recommend the Waldo Kansas City location to anyone that wants to deal with professional people and get what they pay for. Great bunch of professionals from the front door to the back. I will definitely be taking future vehicles to Travis at Maaco. Thanks again, Mark.

My advice before making a commitment to use Macao and their services is to shop around. Will they eventually get your vehicle done yes. But chances are you will have paid way more than you saw advertised or even quoted, and there will be a long list of reasons or excuses on why certain promises couldn t be kept or honored. Although I am a former employee, I am not a disgruntled or vengeful one, I am only being transparent and forthright-a concept that I found didn t align with the bottom line of the Wichita maaco management.

Brought my car in for Body work and paintEvery staff member I spoke to from estimate, when I dropped it off, me calling to check on progress to them having my car done 2 days early were all very professional and courteous. .I hope I won't need body work again anytime soon but will certainly use them again and refer others to them..Thanks guys for taking such great care of meServices: Painting, Body & Trim

Very unprofessional. Told me the bucks tops there! Had my vehicle for 2 weeks still not done. Changed amounts and blamed co worker. Would not give me superior number. Mike assured me car would be painted yesterday. Jeff says today he can t assure me anything. Shut them down. Came here for a job interview. Interviewer/Manager was over 20 minutes late. I replied to a job posting that did not state anywhere that it required experience in auto-mechanics for a management position. Management did not state that experience was required over the phone while making an appointment for me. I was upfront about not having experience and they told me that it wasn't an issue. My lack of experience in the field only became an issue during the interview and they stated that they did not offer training. This would not have been a big deal usually except for the fact that I wasted several hours of my time and gas for this interview. Hopefully they treat their customers better than their job applicants.

Drop my car off on Father s Day weekend with a deposit off 700. They gave me the run around claiming my car was in paint but it wasn t I finally was allowed to see my car on August 5.It was far from being painted but I was just happy to see my car n a slightly better condition so I allowed them to receive more of my money and I proceed with my day. 3weeks later I call to inquire about my vehicle and Mike tells me the previous person who gives out the quote ran off with clients money and erased all records for payments or wrote down the wrong amount intent to keep customers money and which he did. I placed $1750 in the previous guys hands in a matter off weeks on a $2500 job. I then asked how much said was placed on the bill he told me $400 on a 3400 bill , he said they where very sorry and they will take responsibility and will call me back at a later date. Today is September 3 and nobody called me about my vehicle so I gave them a call to see what going on Mike told me about my vehicles condition and it sounded ok but when I asked about my bill he told me the same as the previous statement. I became very upset after being told that my money was stolen and they I would have to start all over with I bill. Mike and I then exchanged words as he became very unprofessional and im the victim Mike even hung up on me like a female and refused to answer Maaco on Troost is running scams don t take the your business someone shut them down also every time he called several times he attempted to raise the agreement price one time I agreed but after that I should have known something was wrong but and I sat saw with some Italian guy short mild weigh 1time the their establishment and he verified the agreed amount a few weeks prior.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Maaco painted my car beautifully! Everyone that stops to look at my car thinks it is a Custom paint job that would have cost me much more money than it actually did. After visiting the Hendrick collision center to repair the result of a driveway fender bender to my 2011 Volvo S-80 and not liking the estimate, I decided to visit Maaco. And I'm glad I did! The cost was less than half what Hendrick quoted, and the Manager (Travis) worked hard to find a replacement fender in town at a reasonable price. He went above and beyond to help ensure I got a satisfactory result and a reasonable price. The work was great and the car looks as good as new. Great service and great work, thank you Travis and Maaco!
