They were able to get me in that morning without giving me the long runaround like the other 6 places I called. Very friendly and will be recommending them to anyone who needs work done on their car.

I called to get an estimate for service on a 2002 4Runner. He provide better options than working with him. I appreciate the honesty. It really shows they believe in giving the customer what they need and not what they need. I would highly recommend using them.

Had to give at least 1 star to leave a review. Happened 1 year ago. Don't take your car here your catalytic converter will cut off by thieves and the owner will not back his work. Had to replace catalytic converter and exhaust pipes. Police were called. Insurance claims made and no satisfaction or backing his work. You won't save any money here.

Great customer service! attention to detail and concern for the well being of my vehicle was their first priority. Work was done in a timely fashion and very pleased with the work! Had a new water pump installed everything is working great. Highly recommend LP's Automotive to anyone looking for good solid mechanics that not only know how to work on vehicles but also understand the concerns of their customers!Service: General repairs & maintenance

This was an amazing experience!! I brought my '02 Chevy Cavalier in for it having a high idle. They diagnosed and fixed the issue in no time. Back to driving the same day! We have taken our cars here ever since we moved into the area 6 years ago, and my in-laws have used them for 20+ years. Always a good experience, they help us find solutions when we have car issues, and go above and beyond to answer questions we may have. Trustworthy, honest, and do great work. We won t go anywhere else.

I had my valve cover gaskets and starter replaced here last month. I had to come back 3 times to get it done right, and we finally went elsewhere. Check engine light is now on, hoses not reattached, 2 screws missing that I caught, and he said were home in his shirt, and 3 times and I can't get the check engine light off STILL. Now the truck does not start and I'm too embarrassed to ask AGAIN for it to be right. We've gone there for 20 years. Bill retired, and Donnie complains about some kid now working there that can't stay off his phone and show up on time. We're paying for the starter somewhere else to fix, and we're just done. They're probably good for some type of work, but I would follow up behind them.

Again and again, I am shown what great mechanics and decent human beings make LP s so great. Dealership: you need $2000 worth of work on your $500 car. Take it to LP s and they solve the problem for a fraction. It s because they solve the actual problem and not try to up sell on all the other little things that should be done . Two different vehicles over many many years I have trusted in their care and always extremely happy with their service. I tell everyone I know to go here. Rare gem in the mechanic industry, if you have any doubts drop them now. This is where you need to go.

They are the best! They always figure out what is going on and give me options. I like that they call and give me an estimate before beginning expensive work. They prioritize the most critical things so I can split work between pay periods when money is tight.

I bought a car from the auction and turns out it need some joint work I called several places that were unreasonable with pricing. Then I seen these guys and called them they had my car in and out they shop the same day and the pricing was fair. I have another car I'm calling them about today a g6 Pontiac needs The same thing done to it.

I have had two interactions with this business, and it will be my go-to place for automotive work from now on. Forget bells & whistles: efficient, courteous, straightforward attitudes and results are what it's all about (that includes coffee for you, too). Thx, LP!

My Uncle has taken his car and other cars including mine to lps for years. Bill has worked there a long time. He is fair and will get things done on your vehicle in a timely manner. I had to get a starter put in just the other day on Thursday and he started on it that evening because he is not going to put other vehicles in the front of the line he will go according to order and parts delivery and what needs,to be done. So on Friday at 1pm it was done. Go ahead and Google search your vehicle and how much the labor plus parts in the kansas city area and you will see he gives one of the best quality and best service around. He has customers that come from out of state for services and out of other cities.All of the staff are nice and know what they are doing. Bill advised me of that one day. Ty guys at Lp.

The only guys in town I trust to work on my truck or momma's truck. Won't go anywhere else. Bill and Donnie have always been fair and honest when dealing with us.

Fair and honest mechanic.Will tell u straight up what is wrong with car and will not charge extra for unneeded repairs..A good mechanic are hard to find, but these folks are great.

Best local mechanic hands down ... every person that works in this shop from top to bottom is top notch and always goes above and beyond.Been bringing all my vehicles here since I was 16 and in Highschool, I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

I ve taken my car here a few times. EVERY single time my car is worked on quickly and the prices are great. It s in walking distance from my house so that is a plus.

I grew up in the BANISTER AREA in the 1980's, and ONE of my Highlights that is still around ( upon the area) is LP's Auto. I still remember talking to Lerry Pugsley as a kid before he past away, for I learned at FIRST from him that the JAPANESE cars were on TOP and ALWAYS will be as a package.Upon a honest mechanic in this area of town, this is THE place to go to for repairs......
