I have never felt compelled to leave a good review before service is completed, but I have also never received such incredible service when getting maintenance on my car. I waited in the lobby while they worked (since they were able to fit me in so I didn't have to leave my car), and I was immediately informed of everything they looked at that the car dealer mentioned. They made it clear what was fine and what actually needed to be addressed, clearly not trying to upsell me on anything. That is evidence that this is a reliable, trustworthy business. I will be exclusively using London Motorworks for my car from now on and telling everyone that it is worth the trip.

Tim is both the most honest and also the most competent mechanic I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Not to mention, his prices beat other area garages.Because of this well-earned reputation, Tim's shop stays pretty busy. You may have to schedule out even a month in advance. However, recently, we were able to leave a car with him for a matter of days, not needing it in the meantime, and he was able to squeeze us in much sooner that way.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto A/C recharge, Engine repair, Brakes, Oil change

I have known Tim since I was a teenager and he's always been a straightforward and great guy. Had some issues with coilovers that were installed by Tim and he offered to take a look at them and talked me through whatever may have been the issue.

I cannot say enough good things about Tim and his shop. I ve never had a mechanic take such good care of me when i ve had issues with a vehicle. He was super helpful in explaining what was wrong, communicating with me, and helping with my insurance. He s knowledgeable and friendly and I won t be taking my car anywhere else.

Tim fixed my car and I never took it in the shop or was charged a dime. He was able to consult me on my issues over the phone and it worked! I will be visiting his shop in (hopefully not near) future, very nice guy.

Tim is absolutely amazing! He is the only mechanic I trust in the KCMO area. He has done brake work and a hitch install for me, when all the other dealers in the area tried to take me for a ride. He took his time to explain everything to me and quote me fair prices. I won t take my car to another shop as long as I m here. Highly recommended!

Tim is a great, trustworthy mechanic. He gave me three options for repair, the bare minimum (and cheapest), the middle, and the full repair (most expensive), and didn't pressure me towards any of them. Even when I had to go to a different mechanic because I was stranded out of town, Tim was more than willing to look up my car's info from when he last repaired it and gave me solid advice on what I should expect. This place is top notch.

Tim and his crew are awesome. I have known the man for almost a decade. Tim is the best mechanic in town hands down and good guy to boot. Tim is great! He's serviced my cars since I've lived in the Kansas City area and recently helped me out with some battery issues. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for an honest, fair and kind mechanic.

Tim is hands down the best mechanic I've ever had. He has always serviced my car in a timely and detailed manner. And he is HONEST. What do I mean by honest? He gave me three options (the cheaper, the middle, and the high-end) on replacing my timing belt. Another time I thought I needed to get new break pads. He told me to come back in a few months since the current ones still had life left in them. "Get your money's worth" he told me. When I've gone to him with car troubles, I always have. He's honest and professional. Can't ask for much more. Thanks Tim!

I have been in here multiple times with questions about my vehicle. Tim takes the time to explain what's going on and has even run the diagnostic codes on my vehicle multiple times now free of charge (I haven't found another mechanic who will do this for free in KC). He's been incredibly honest with how to fix my vehicle, even when it's not to his benefit (sending me to the dealer). I'm consistently impressed with the customer service here - great place!!

Long story, but my Audi was disabled and I thought for sure I would need to tow it somewhere. I was weighing various options when another mechanic in the area (that does not service Audis) recommended this place. I called them, and in a straightforward manner they recommended I could limp my vehicle to another place a little closer that could solve my problem.They were correct - they saved me the cost of a tow, at least, rather than take my business for this small job. They gained a customer in the process. Will definitely go back to them for any/all problems with my Audi going forward.

I was the Uber driver for Tim one night. He gets into my car and notices something wrong and when I get him to his location he gets out and underneath my car diagnosed it. Tells me to bring it in on Monday and gives me a $5 tip! Fixed my car on Monday and a very reasonable price and in a timely manner. Tim is the best!!!!!

Tim really goes above and beyond my expectations every single time I've been here. I was refereed here by a friend and ever since I've been a very happy customer. Tim is super honest, always texts me lettig me know what the issue is, and gives me plenty of options.Never pushy at all! If you're looking for a super honest mechanic that knows what he's doing, this is the place. The only downside (if there is one) is that he's so busy that finding an appointment can take a week or two if it's not an emergency. :)

Tim London has fixed me and my families cars for the last 4 years. He's done over a dozen jobs for me and my family. He's the only Mechanic I recommend in all of Waldo or even Kansas City for that matter. He's done easy jobs all the way to complicated work. Wouldn't trust anyone else with my vehicles.

Tim has been fixing my cars for years and I've referred friends and family to his shop knowing that they will be well taken care of. Tim does business the way it's supposed to be done. Honestly and competently..oh, and he's affordable too. It doesn't get much better than that!

I wish I lived closer to this shop. I took a vehicle I was going to buy in for a pre-purchase inspection since he was near by. It turned out Tim the owner of the shop knew the dealer owner I was going to buy the car from and, had a good relationship with him. I instantly thought this wasn't the best senerio for the obvious reason. I was really uncomfortable since they knew each other and do business together.I'm glad I decided go through with it. Tim called me and gave me his honest opinion of the car and ended up saving me about $7,000.00. He told me to keep looking and what I should know before I bought it. Hands down the best money I ever spent. This is an honest shop!

I have a 2004 BMW 330 and want it fixed well, but not at the same level of expense of Baron BMW. Tim provides great options, doesn't pressure you to do things that aren't needed, and did quality work at a fair price. the car was repaired (suspension & brake stuff) 6 months ago and is still holding-up - no issues. I would definitely recommend Tim.

I heard many exceptional things about Tim and London Motorworks and the experience I had was even better than I could imagine! I am a young guy who is learning about what to do with your car. I have taken my car multiple places over the last few years, and this is head and shoulders above the rest! The quote was a fraction of others I received and I can already tell a difference. I've already told a few of my friends about this place and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for fantastic service!

My fiancee and I moved to town in Summer of 2013, just a few blocks from London Motorworks. We had no car, and we were looking to buy one. We walked by Tim's place, and we talked to him for a while (initially intrigued by the waiting area being an art gallery). He's a really nice, honest guy. We had him check out all the cars we were interested in, and he saved us from buying a real lemon that the seller had lied about (Tim discovered it had been in a wreck). When we settled on a different car, we had Tim and his crew check it out, and then do the work on it. I won't take my car anywhere else. Give these guys your business. It's rare that you walk out of a mechanic's shop smiling. :)

I don't generally write reviews for businesses but the guys at London Motorworks were incredibly nice and helpful. They took time out of their busy day to check out a rattling sound, quickly fixed the issue and put my mind at ease. I've often experienced poor interactions at other auto shops where I've been made to feel stupid or taken advantage of because I don't know a lot about cars and that was certainly not the case here. I will most definitely return the next time my car needs a repair. Thank you, gentlemen!

Tim literally brought my car back to life when I blew the engine! My car was towed there from the dealership after the grim diagnosis. I found an engine online and had it shipped to London Motor Works. Tim did the engine swap in the necessary 3 day limit to validate the warranty, and the total cost was half of what it would have been at the Volvo dealership. Amazing! Won t take my car anywhere else now!

Tim used to work on my car along with my uncle's. It's been years sense that has happened but he's by far one of the best mechanics I have ever had. I recommend him to anyone.
