I've been a customer of Henry for 20+ years (back when he was at Troost) and this is truly an honest business man. I highly recommend his staff, good family business.

It was very bad they put a bad transmission in my car that had water and didn't tell me until it start leaking then was told it had water in it. Told me it needed a radiator then changed story I didn't need radiator. They messed up my transmission and was gonna charge me $500. It was Mr. Henry's son and his stories kept changing. I will never ever go or recommend anyone to go there. Things have changed since Mr. Henry is not there.

The absolute worst customer service I ve experienced. I came to Henry s to have my air conditioning serviced. The technicians are not competent enough to do the job that they signed up for. After completing the work, the price increased from what I was told and received an unsatisfactory excuse as to why. Never will I ever do business with them. Please beware.Service: Air conditioning

Mr Henry's Garage will get the job done in a timely manner with reasonable cost. His business is known all around the KC Metro area.

I haven't had an issue with these guys. You can buy your parts or they will purchase them. The turn around time has been quick and if there's a problem they work with you to resolve it.

I had two bad experiences with them. Henry is very unprofessional. He is rude and the first time I went there they didn t fix my car till 3 weeks later because Henry kept forgetting everything. They also messed up my trunk the second time and lied about it. Based on the reviews they use to be a good shop but now it is not a good place of business what s so ever. Henry needs to retire.

Very unprofessional. First come first serve. No visible service/ labor price list. When given Quotes to have service done they are incomplete and not honored at time of service. Customers around passed around like a ball. Very poor communication between shop owner and shop employees.. Really congested parking lot. Would recommend getting quotes/info in writing before service. Also get the price amount before they start work. They change amounts without notice.

Brian was awesome in towing my vehicle. He was a man of his word. He told me what time he was going to be there to pick up my vehicle and then he did just that. Pricing was fair and service was exceptional.

A little over priced for labor but, I guess thats expected in most cases. They have bills to pay. Any how they did a nice job with my repair it was minor such as replacement of a heater hose connector. I would have did it myself but didn't mess with it that day plus going to get the part or ordering it. A small 10 minute job and $15 part. I said ill just let Henry do it. Well I suggestion if with you can do it yourself do it, save yourself the money and dignity and do it yourself. Over all this is a Great place to have all your repairs meet small or large. I will go back only for major job a can actually do.

They were the friendliest bunch. We came in unexpectedly right before closing while on a long trip. They took the time to diagnose, very accurately, our dilemma and got is back on the road in no time. My kids loved the kindness of this group. I'd recommend them for anything!

Henry and his crew are like family to me. I am not from KC and had to gain connections since moving here. They have serviced my cars over the last 10 years and never let me down! They are friendly and professional. In addition, when I have needed repairs that were outside of the services they offer, they have referred me to other reliable mechanics! Just like an uncle to me!

I have been going to Henry's for years and he has always treated me fairly. The only drawback, if you can call it that, is having to buy your own parts, but he is always Fair on the labor pricing. His work is always top notch. Henry's mechanics kept kept my used cars running. Once they fix something it is fixed and I never have to go back to have them redo faulty work.

Was referred here, over priced. They don t tell you the full price until the work is complete. I will not be returning or referring anyone. Got brakes replaced and they are squeaking so loud whenever I tap them. And charged $80 for labor on replacing my headlights. Also not very professional when talking to people.

I have used Henry's Garage since he was located on 31st and Harrison.Mr. Henry has repaired my vehicle, when I couldn't afford to pay. " Just come in when you get it" Mr. Henry always told me what was needed, the cost, and the consequences if I didn't repair it. Mr. Henry kept my wrecks rolling until I could afford something better! Mr. Henry and his mechanics have kept my Hoopties to Cadillacs running in top condition! Mr. Henry is A-NUMBER-1! Best Mechanics In The World!

I am so thankful to be able to take any of our vehicles to Henry's Garage. They are down home honest folks. He shows you what he knows and tells you what he doesn't know. I've been doing business with him for years. I'm proud to know Henry, Tom and their crew! You can't go wrong taking your vehicle here.

7/26/2016I was having problems with my 2002 GMC Envoy XL. The transmission cable had broken and power steering pump was out. Mr. Henry's outstanding mechanics were able to order the parts in a timely manner and my vehicle was repaired within 48 hours. The total cost was under $500 and highly recommend his auto repair services to anyone who wants a fair deal.

In the past this was the place to go. This shop accommodated the urban core, with friendly service, & affordable prices, due to desired at that time cliantel. Once the cliantel grew the affordable prices, professionalism, friendly service, & customer care went out the window. Now the home town grown shop has turned into only seeming to be about the money, & not the care of those that supported your success.

Professionalism is key. Not even 30 seconds in the conversation the manager whoever he is, told me what do you want me to do with your car and sarcastically laughed after I explained what was going on with my car. I d rather take my car elsewhere with professionals and get treated with respect and good quality work...

Horrible customer service. Had my daughters car fixed there Friday and it stopped on her last night (one week later). Took it to Autozone and they told me that whomever put the alternator on didn't tighten the bolts back. Took it back to Henry and he said the alternator is bad and I would have to pay for him to replace it again. On my way to another shop to get her car fixed correctly.

I took my daughter's car to several mechanics because of stalling issues and they ripped me off with bogus repairs. Finally, a friend referred me to Henry's Garage and they fixed my daughter's car completely and honestly. We haven't had anymore stalling issues. These are honest folks!

One of the worst experiences ever. My insurance company sent this company to tow my vehicle. When in tow they damaged my vehicle. Brain said owner gave me the run around for weeks and tried to replace items with sub-par parts. I contacted my insurance company after getting the run around and issue was resolved by my insurance company. I hope this company is never called again by Farmers and hope he is forced to pay them back for the damage done.

Extremely efficient! I been using Henry's for 3 years now and always fixed my problem without creating new ones if you catch my drift.
