Excellent service. I highly recommend taking your foreign vehicle here . They re very thorough & don t just slap a diagnosis on your vehicle.. I had a significant amount of work done over the thanksgiving break & when I tell you they ordered the parts on the Wednesday before thanksgiving & had it done the following Wednesday that s impressive.. my job time was roughly 2 business days & they had it done in fashionable time & I couldn t be more satisfied with how my vehicle is running ..

I ve taken my vehicle here a few times and every time I feel like they aren t trying to sell me to fix things that don t need to be fixed.The honesty goes a long way for me and I will continue taking my vehicle(s) here.

Don't bring your car here its basically a dice roll. They charge damn near dealer prices with a shorter warranty so its pointless to go here in the first place lmfao. They just kept pushing me aside. I took my BMW to the dealership and they found a piece of my crankcase/pcv system or something broken from the valve cover under the camshaft, granted it would've just eventually made its way to the oil pan its just like why not just do it right the first time? I literally watched the BMW tech pull it out with a pair of long pliers. The last person that would've been in there would've been a "tech" from German auto service. Everyone makes mistakes etc. which is fine but the customer service is so bad they just kept pushing me away when my problem still persisted. Goto the dealership or DYI from YouTube if its a BMW there's a lot of support for them. (the piece that broke off is from a YouTube video)

We are on a cross country road trip and I started having a problem with the A/C in my Mercedes Benz. I found German Imports Specialists and gave them a call. When I first called, I was on hold for 27 minutes. I finally hung up and called back. They had forgotten that I was on hold and never apologized. However, I still went to them because of the good reviews. Graf called me back quickly with a diagnosis and solution. I told him to go ahead and do the work. When I got back to his shop, he told me I had a coolant leak. When he showed me the leak I realized that it wasn t a coolant leak, whoever was working on my car had broken the reservoir accidentally (he did say that someone might have leaned on it, but then said that it shouldn t have broken so easily). Although I did not have to pay for the labor, I still had to pay for parts.After doubling checking his work, I found out that he broke some plastic pins and a latch which shows that he was too rough/not careful. Also, the problem that I originally brought the vehicle in for, still persists. I feel like all I spent today was a waste of money.

I needed a couple of parts for my 2007 Mercedes-Benz s550, and without hesitation, they helped me out. & The staff is very courteous & friendly... I called 2 days in a row, and each time, I was surprised one part came in the next day, and the other part came in the same day. I wish I could give you guys 20 stars.

Probably the nicest guys in town, they deserve your business ! They are extremely generous with their time and easy to work with. They basically recommended me not to do the work in the end because my car is old (2000 C230 Mercedes Kompressor ) wasn't worth as much. It was against their self interest to do so but it was the best decision for me. I will 100% go back to them.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

We took our VW to have the intercooler and glo plugs looked at. After 2 weeks of being told they couldn't start our car we went to get our car back. They had sprayed the ignition with both dry and wet lube creating a nice sludge I'm the ignition. After scraping it out we got it started after about 30 minutes. They said they had tried for 3 hours unsuccessfully. The manager assumed zero responsibility for damaging the ignition and told me I was trespassing and he was calling the cops when we confronted him about the damage. Unprofessional as they come. Zero communication. In the 2 weeks they had our car they didn't make or return a call. We had to reach out for any information. Poor, poor service and communication.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

So the last thing you want to do is schedule an appointment to get your car repaired especially when money is tight but some times you just can t avoid it. I highly recommend Graf and the team at German Auto Service in North KC. They provide great service that is timely and they stand behind their work. Graf if like working with a friend who cares about his customers. They definitely do not try to take advantage of you and are competitively priced, if not better than their competitors.

Dropped my Mercedes off in the morning. Received a call with a solution to repair my A/C with other recommendations for current maintenance schedule. Picked my car up by 2:30 the same day. When I arrived, my vehicle was washed and the A/C worked like a charm. Great service with a one year warranty. First time using German Imports Specialist and I found a shop that offers everything I would need to keep my vehicles running great!Thanks!

These guys were great. I was half way into a 500 mile road trip home when my battery light came on. My husband , not with me, called ahead for me to let them know I'd be stopping in to see if it was an alternator issue or something else and if they could fix it. I arrived, they quickly got my car on the computer and determined it was an alternator issue but that they did not have one in stock and wouldn't be able to get one for 24 hours. Because of covid and other reasons I was unable to wait that long, so they charged my battery as much as they could to see me through the rest of my drive. They didn't make me pay at all for helping me and I was able to make it almost all the way home before my battery did die. their help allowed me to get within 25 miles of home so that my husband could come get me. I'm really grateful that they helped me and even more so that they didn't charge me for the help they gave. If I lived in Kansas City I'd be taking my cars to them for service!

Graf is the owner of German Auto Service and is a true German car nut with a wealth of knowledge in European automotive repair. He is always been fair and honest in all my dealings with him. I would highly recommend him to anyone who loves their European car and wants to keep it performing like new.

I took my Audi there for an oil change and hearing a rattle. With these German cars, I've had this issue before, and it never cost me less than $1,000 and a few mufflers. Graf called me to advise it was a simple hook missing and that was what was causing the rattle. Fixed it up for nothing, kept it under an hour of labor, and had my car squeaky clean when I picked it up. Incredible service, and what a CLEAN shop. I will take my entire fleet here forever!

Took a vehicle in for a pre-purchase inspection. All I can say is wow, the level of service and professionalism is unmatched ANYWHERE. German Auto Service has earned me as a lifetime customer.The entire visit from start to finish was 100% some of the best service I have ever received.

Took my BMW 335 in there and couldn't have been more impressed. Graff the mechanic was incredibly knowledgable, friendly, and the shop charged reasonable rates. Will take all of my imports there. Highly recommend.

Where do I start . after getting royally screwed over by a local dealership on a mini cooper I spent a week looking for anyone in kansas city to fix my engine . several and I mean SEVERAL shops flat out said we want nothing to do with these cars and I finally found German auto service it only took about 5 minutes on the phone with Graf to realize I had found the right shop . ran me through a quick overview of the best and worst case scenario for a timing chain which is way more common than it should be on a high end car . he knew exactly what was wrong was spot on with his diagnosis over the phone and gave me an estimated quote for total repair . took the vehicle to him during the Christmas new year holiday schedule season him and his guys were at the tow truck and immediately pushed my car inside and began working on it . I knew there was going to be a delay since ot was the holidays but pleasantly surprised that not only was it done ahead of schedule but the (will be around ) quote did not change at all . this company knows what it is doing and if I decide to continue to own this cooper which has its issues then they have my buisness for life and will recommend them to anyone without hesitation. I have to add the price quoted was unbelievably lower than anyone else I found that would even consider working on this car. Huge thank you guys for the work and professionalism .

I can t say enough good things about this place. As a woman they could easily take advantage of me, but never have. Their very upfront with cost and repairs are done quickly . BUT the biggest pro is they truly care about you and your car.

Great service. We have 6 german cars in the family. R129, W140, E36, Passat, GL and A6- Graff and his crew are always working on this cars! Whether its a routine maintenance or minor/major repairs- we always ve been quoted honest pricing and job was done well and on time!

He is the only person able to fix ONLY what s wrong. The dealer quoted a price more than my car is worth. They are extremely professional and nice to deal with.Very Honest!!!
