Dropped off my Outback on 10/18/23 after a hit and run driver damaged the front end. It's now 12/4/23 and counting, and don't have my car repaired. Been told numerous times that the car just needs to be painted but keep getting that pushed back a week. Visited the shop on 12/1, to find out what was going on and the manager said he had bigger jobs he was doing and would try to get to my car this week. Don't have a lot of confidence thia will happen. So sorry I got stuck with this place.

Brandon is probably the greatest mechanic we have ever ran into! Our car got stolen in January, and we took it to the dealer (Hyundai) to get worked on and immediately regretted it. They told us to take it somewhere else for body work, and after getting ignored by other shops, Brandon was so real and so helpful. We will be taking our cars here for work whenever we can!!

The staff at Gerber were kind and attentive, and helped me arrange a ride to get a rental after drop-off. They also communicated with me at least every other day during repair to let me know the current status of my repair work and to give me expectations for a reasonable completion timeframe. Matt, specifically, was responsible for all of my communication, as well as my drop-off and estimate. At one of the more stressful times in my year, Matt helped make the repair process a breeze and made me feel that its completion was a shared priority. If I need collision or repair service again, I'm coming to Gerber for the staff experience and quality of work. My car looks as though it was never rear-ended.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Brandon was awesome!!! When our minivan was rear-ended (and totaled by the insurance), he stood out in the freezing cold weather to show us the van and explain our options if we wanted to retain the vehicle, versus salvaging. I found this to be extra impressive because we were not his clients, as Gerber was being paid by the insurance company. He just cared about us as individuals who were new to the world of wrecked vehicles and the processes and options we had. Thank you, Brandon!

Gerber Collision & Glass is a fantastic business and went above and beyond to help me. I was in a minor accident that required me to leave my car there for a week or so. They were the body shop certified by USAA, my auto insurance company. While I was driving the rental car provided by USAA, I parked in an underground parking garage and the overhead pipes dripped some sort of calcium substance onto the rental car paint. It dried extremely hard and was so hard to remove that Enterprise Rent-a-Car was going to charge me another $500 deductible to accept the rental car. The manager at Gerber called me, told me to bring the car back, and he and another employee spent over an hour cleaning and polishing the affected areas on the rental car so that I wouldn't have to do another insurance claim for the damage. The work they did on my own car was also superlative. They gave it back to me looking brand-new, as if the accident never happened. Gerber also cleaned out the entire inside of my car for no charge. Gerber Collision & Glass is absolutely top-notch and I will definitely be using them for any body work I need in the future and recommending that anyone I know does the same. Brandon was very helpful he educated me on so much about my vehicle and the damages he explained to me that this wasn t a easy process and to be patient!! After parking in a parking garage, my car was hit with no note. I was totally devastated - I hadn t had my car even a year! I was worried about how much it was going to cost but Brett was so transparent through the whole process. Brett was even able to loop in my insurance, only leaving me a deductible to pay instead of the whole bill. My car was completed the same day (which was unexpected considering they replaced the whole backend)! They even ran it through the car wash. I would highly recommend this shop! Any of the team was super helpful, but most of my interaction was with Brett as my main point of contact. Very professional and the repair makes it look like nothing ever happened!Service: Body & Trim

I had a little accident on my way to work one morning. Gerber collision took my vehicle in within an hour of the collision happening. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. They did excellent work in a short amount of time. I would highly recommend their services.

My recently purchased vehicle was hit and we had scares of the insurance company not paying for the damages. After that heart attack, I was on the defensive and feeling pretty down about a vehicle I was so happy to purchase. After being repaired @ Gerber Collision, I am back to loving her! There was quite a bit of work to do and Gerber more than exceeded my expectations for a timely repair. Every person I dealt with was a pleasure to work. My vehicle is the nicest, fanciest or fastest but take care of her as though she is; Gerber made me feel as though they treated her just as I would. Gerber did a great job repairing my car that someone backed into. I highly recommend them. They were fast, called me and kept me up to date, handled all the paperwork and let me leave the rental car there so I didn't even have to make an extra trip. I am trying to make amends to Jon from this business after forgetting something he told me during a recent repair. I crashed my Nissan's front bumper and needed it replaced and Gerber was able to get my body work done in 2 days and the paint job was great. I unfortunately forgot Jon's instructions for how to fill out the after-service survey and he didn't get the marks he probably should have gotten for his work because of that. Like Jon, I am a working man so I know how important it is to be seen as a good worker to keep your job and while I'm sure Jon won't be fired or anything due to my filling out of the survey, it still didn't help him. Gerber did a good job and I'd use them again, and next time I'll do the after-service survey correctly. I still feel terrible!Service: Body & Trim

These guys did an excellent job when it came to repairing my vehicle. I worked with a gentleman named Jonathan, and I couldn't have been happier with the process. Jonathan is an exceptional professional who took great care of my vehicle. If my car needs repairs in the future, I will be sure to pay this shop another visit.

Our insurance company recommended Gerber. The speed of the repair was great. Then we're started having issues after getting the vehicle back. Called and talked to Harry who was handling the claim. Explained the car overheated and it was half a gallon low of coolant. He proceeded to tell me how they didn't do anything wrong and it must be another issue. Took the car back to them for them to say it was just fine. The vehicle overheated again yesterday. Had it taken to another insurance recommend shop who found the issues Gerber did but couldn't fix when we took it back. Worst part was it was an easy find. They ruined an electrical connection on a part they installed. Never once would they say they could of missed something or take any blame. Harry was dismissive and acted like I was ignorant. Do yourself a favor and don't go through the headache of dealing with them.

I had a flat and completely shredded tire the other day in the Quiktrip parking lot on Main St during the below 0 degree days we were having in KC. I called this shop to ask them if it was possible to help me get my spare tire on with their better lift and torque wrenches. They were happy to oblige, free of charge, and were a huge help getting me rolling again. The rims were basically glued onto the frame due to the extreme temps so I cannot imagine how much hassle they saved me being able to pull my truck into their garage and be able to use lift stands, etc. Highly recommend these guys on willingness to help out someone in the community during a time of need.

Really great service! Comparable price (actually lowest estimate I'd received). Nice, clean office, friendly staff. It took a little longer than I'd hoped to be completed, but I was incredibly happy with the job they did. I was communicated with all the way through the process. I had banged up my rear bumper pretty badly and the whole thing had to be replaced. The paint was matched perfectly. I am very pleased with my experience!

My car was vandalized a few weeks ago, with both of my side views damaged as well as my tail lights. Carstar not only fixed the damage perfectly and gave me great customer service, but they vacuumed my car and cleaned my windows as well.It was a nice touch and a welcome surprise that I appreciate very much. I'll definitely be using this shop for any of my auto body needs in the future.

I have to agree with the general reviews of this placeSTAY AWAY. The work is NOT fully performed and the policies about reviewing the car are made to hook you up. The American Family insurance should remove this place from their recommendation list. The did not open the hood claiming they had to have the car inside. So I had to make an appointment and go back. This being the 3rd time I gave up, and left the car to this place. Another shop opened the hood for me and I noticed that a piece supporting the radiator was out of place due to the hit. When I got the car back, they did not even noticed it (of course is the first thing I checked). They brought the car in and manually fixed it in 5 minutes. It means they did not even take the time to investigate it. Moreover, after replacing the front bumper, they re-attached the original bottom plastic, which was wearing off. 1 month later it came down on the highway scratching all my front left tire. Rude, negligent, and could not care less about your safety, you, or your car.

This was my first experience with Gerber Collision & Glass. I was referred to them by a family member that said Josh Reidel can fix my oops that happened to my truck. He does amazing things to make your truck look good again. I wasn t sure it could be repaired with out getting a new rear quarter panel. Both Jeremy and Josh said... Josh can fix that no problem!When I picked up my truck it looked Amazing!!!!The staff ...from Jeremy (who gave me the estimate and twice a week updates) and the front desk were extremely friendly and my truck looked brand new!!!Josh Reidel does OUTSTANDING work!The curves that had been crushed were fixed perfectly! I must say...my truck has a lot of curves and bends. I can t say Thank You enough for taking such good care of my truck and making it look great again!!I recommend using Gerber Collision and Glass for all collision repairs!!!

I would have to say from the time I got my Estimate to dropping our car off and picking it back up. Was excellent service. SARA at the front desk is an awesome and sweet lady to deal with they definitely earned our businesss if we ever get in a accident again which will hopefully be not soon. Sara was very friendly from when I walked in the door because that s where the insurance company referred us so we went with it. She was very kind and sweet to my son also. I will have to say that lady Sara needs to be Recognized I ve been having bad service lately everywhere else. And when I have good service like I had here makes me a happy person. Thank you Sara

I could not have hoped for a better experience. Brandon explained in detail what my options were and helped me choose the best option for me. It is alway so much better when a person is both knowledgeable and polite he gets a 10 out of 10!

What a waste of time! Drove a half hour to gather my possessions from my vehicle... three separate times. First two times my vehicle was locked inside their facility even though they said they would make sure it was outside so I could get to it after hours. Side note, their hours are terrible. I was told they only had two vehicles of the make and model of my vehicle and that they were both outside. Well that was wrong, I located my vehicle inside the second night I drove there - they don't even know what vehicles they have possession of. Then to top it off, when I went to get my license plate as instructed by my insurance company, I was told they sent my car to a salvage yard for storage. But I wasn't notified by anyone. And they even told me multiple times they can't and won't release my vehicle without my permission. Well that was a lie - because that is exactly what they did. I don't recommend taking your vehicle there for anything whatsoever. They are literally a waste of time and money!Update: My wife received a message from some market manager who only gave excuses even though I'm sure he has no knowledge of what happened outside of this review. He did not ask for a call back or give any mention of wanting to further discuss what happened (even though the business's response says otherwise). So no, I will not put down my phone number or email for everyone to see. If you want to be in contact with me over this matter, reach out to the location manager and get my information from his records, because yes, I know he does.

I will say that they did good work BUT the customer service at this location is horrible. I interacted with 4 different employees throughout my car repair process and not one could be described as friendly. The receptionist/front desk girl at the end took the cake though. I asked about something that hadnt been corrected on my car yet was covered in my estimate, she went from fine to overtly RUDE in no time at all. Although they did fix the issue, they tried to act like i was being completely ridiculous for bringing it up. Sure the work was good but if you can go somewhere with better CS skills do it.
