What a nightmare. I brought my car to them in late October and was told that the earliest they could get me in was late December. December came and when and they did not contact I called my insurance to see what the holdup was. My insurance contacted Gerber Collision on my behalf only to find out that they had forgotten about me and as a result of that I now had to wait until February before they could get me in. The nightmare didn't end there though. After returning my car several days early I discovered that they had charged me work they didn't do and had broken critical components on my headlights. When I confronted them about this they accused me of trying to scam them and after an argument finally agreed to do the work they charged me for. This took them an additional few weeks, and when I picked the car up a second time I discovered that they still hadn't done most of it. By this point my trust was absolutely gone and I just decided to do the work on my own and bite the bullet and pay for new headlights myself.I am a mechanic by trade so I was able to easily see where they had lied about their work. I can't imagine the kind of stuff they pull on people that do not have mechanical knowledge. There are better and honest auto body shops out there stay away from this one.

A wonderful place with wonderful technicians who are professional and timely. Had to do some body work on my car and they delivered it fast and the workmanship was amazing. They updated me weekly on what is happening every step of the way. Would recommend for body work.

I dropped off my Subaru after being hit by an 18 wheeler. Gerber took care of everything extremely quick. I was in and out within 3 days. They even helped me get my rental, as well as checked it in with enterprise when I picked up my vehicle. They also offer life time warranty on their repairs for peace of mind. 10/10

Gerber Collision repaired my car after an accident and did a sloppy job. About a month after the repairs, I took my car to the dealership for a 24,000 mile service. The dealership informed me that the lug nuts on my wheel were loose and that they were unable to tighten them. They also mentioned that one of the lug nuts was missing altogether. I told them I would have Gerber Collision take a look since they just did the repairs. I called Gerber Collision to discuss the issue and spoke to Jason (manager). He was extremely rude and defensive. He blew me off and even insinuated that the dealership was lying to me. Luckily, I involved another Gerber Collision location and they were amazing. They reached out to the insurance company for permission to take a look at my car and give a second opinion. After the mechanic looked at my car, they called me back and apologized profusely saying they were appalled by the work that had been done on my car. Several dangerous mistakes had been made. The front stabilizer piece was missing and a tire and lug nuts needed to be replaced among a slue of other issues. The repairs were so extensive it ended up costing an additional $1,300. It is completely scary that I was driving my car in this condition.

Highly recommend this shop for any body shop needs!! They were in contact frequently, letting me know where things were at in the process. Everyone from office staff to management was very polite, patient with questions, and understanding of a not so fun situation. I also received a follow-up call a few days after picking up my vehicle just to make sure I was happy with everything and had no issues!!

Gerber was my insurance company's preferred collision center, so I didn't know what to expect. Great, clear communications regarding what to expect, and what was covered. I appreciated the regular progress updated via the text. My car looks fabulous! Not only were the repairs perfect, but the car looked way better than before the collision. I'm so glad to know there is a reliable collision center right in Waldo.

I cannot say enough good things about Gerber Collision. I had to have a fender replaced and the entire process was as painless as it could have been. The online estimate was easy and it was reviewed when I brought the car in for my appointment. I never felt like I was being upsold on anything, and had a very pleasant conversation about something on the estimate I didn't feel was needed. There was clear communication during the entire process and my car was ready early. I don't say any of this lightly; I was dreading taking in my car for auto body repairs, but the entire staff made it as pleasant as it could be considering the circumstances.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

The staff at this Gerber location were outstanding. Great customer service, they kept me informed every step of the way, and the work they did on my car made it look brand new. They also made working with the other person's insurance a breeze, so bonus points for that!

They repaired my car much quicker than expected and they did a great job. I am super impressed by the update calls they make every Tuesday and Thursday while your car is being serviced with them. They also helped me save some money by adding on repairs near the repairs my insurance covered so I didn't have to pay additional fees.

Back in 2018 when they were still branded as CarStar, I had to take my truck here because of a collision and this was the shop that insurance sent me to. Upon picking it up, I could here binding in my front differential when my 4wd was enabled. This place refused to address it stating that if it functioned, there was no need to look any further. Two months later, while using 4wd, I heard a loud pop in my front differential. I called back and was basically told to kick rocks, it wasn't their responsibility. I did my 4wd service at 100k miles and there were metal shavings in my front diff from the accident that cause the seat the seal sits in to wear down. Because of this, my front differential now leaks on one side and will require that I replace the entire housing to address it. DO NOT take your vehicle here if you want people that actually care about getting it back to whole after someone else damages it.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

The Gerber team on Wornall has been a great group to work with. They helped me with scheduling a rental while my car was in the shop, they have kept me in the loop all the time it has been worked on. Very professional. Highly recommend this team for your auto body repairs

Took my Toyota here for a rear end hit, not bad damage. Really liked the shop and how it was handled. Great communication and very professional. I just want to say that I had such a pleasant experience with this shop! Santana at the front was so helpful and kind, John was incredible and made me feel very taken care of! My Toyota RAV4 had quite the dent in it and they completely took care of me and my car and had it done two days early! I will absolutely come back here! Such a pleasant experience. Amazing customer service! I had issues with an accident and they made it painless to deal with. The office was open and welcoming. They were super fast and efficient and offered advice on how to move forward if I wanted to do other repairs. I plan on coming here from now on with any further issues I may have with my cars.

We sent our dodge caravan in to the Wornall location to have some body work done on it after a wreck. We were super happy with the results. the entire front end of the vehicle was pretty mangled initially when we brought it into them, and we got it back like it was brand new. The Customer service was great. They went above and beyond to fix my vehicle, and to make sure i was completely satisfied with the work, and customer service they provided. Replaced my door and fixed rear driver's side quarter panel and it looks flawless! They communicated with me throughout the process and took care of insurance and a rental car for me. They even stayed a few minutes late when I was running behind to pick my car up after work. Overall a great experience.

I had an accident a couple of weeks ago and Gerber collision and glass was very efficient and thorough when working with my insurance company and getting my repairs completed in a timely manner. I have no complaints about the work that was done on my vehicle. Great work!

My Vehicle was involved in an Accident on November 1,2019 And the other Driver was uninsured, therefore I am left with a damaged vehicle because the driver that hit me isn t on the insurance policy for the vehicle he was Driving.... So on 11/22/19. I went to Gerber Collision & Glass 8200 Wornall Road in Kansas City on Wornall Road and Spoke with the Receptionist who put me in contact with Mark Wyatt & Steven two Employees who showed concern, Compassion, in regards to my current situation, I even received a Decent Estimate Price....This Location & it s staff are (5) Star Employee & Service, I am Extremely happy with the customer service & Compassion that was Shown to me by the Receptionist, MARK & STEVEN!Excellent Customer Service was Given by the Employees I came in Contact With at this Location.

Wonderful service and recommended by my auto insurance. Only four stars because after having my car towed there I received no notification of arrival for two days, which was actually me contacting them. Otherwise I fully intend on going back for future service needs

Friendly, fast, and clean. The only reason I didn't rate 5 was because they were supposed to call when my part arrived. The person that was supposed to call left the company, so my part sat there for weeks. Then, when I came in to get it fixed, it was the wrong part.

I stopped by here to get advice on a repair after a small fender bender. The kind associate helped me put on my hitch cover with his own clips and buffed out some scratches with thinner, all without asking and free of charge. He also recommended a fix that would mean no revenue for them because as he said, 'it is the right thing to do and what I would want if it was my car".

Gerber Collision on Wornall is ran nothing like when it was A & B. The manager at Gerber called me one time when they first got my car - made a great sale pitch, promised weekly call updates, and an ETA finish date (that was far from met). Unfortunately - aside from the young woman in the front office, their customer service does not exist. No one from Gerber updated me like their manager promised. When I wanted updates about my car s repair progress, I had to call. No one called as the weeks passed, even when major changes, delays, and issues occurred with my vehicle. I made the manager aware of missed updates, and lack of information - but found out he was the one in charge of notifying customers. Upon repeat missed completion dates I would hear nothing, and again I would have to call to find they d pushed the due date back again, without notifying me. I wish I would have found an honest review like this prior to taking my vehicle there - b/c I d have 100% picked a different shop.

I've never been to this shop before but upon recommendation from USAA Bank after someone broke into my vehicle, this was a trial and errorperiod . The repair itself, I have no complaints (shattered window) . But when a company has possession of the vehicle, locked in their gated lot with security cameras and the vehicle's only key , items come up missing, I have a problem . When you call me and state the vehicle is READY because IMO you just want your money, and when we arrive there is still glass in the vehicle. When we protest about the shattered glass still inside the vehicle, and your EXCUSE is that the detail guy is not here yet (LIAR). Not to mention items missing from the vehicle.I've lost all respect for this company and I will do my best to inform everyone that I know to take your business elsewhere unless you don't care and just want a halfway job performed.PRO - vehicle repairedCON - after work clean-upProperty missing while in possession of vehicle.Lack of Integrity
