Jessica at the front desk was great!!Had to get my front bumper replaced and they had more car in and out in a matter of a week. Very communicative and it was nice there was an app that gave frequent updates. Would recommend to family and friends!!

Recently needed collision repairs done and selected CARSTAR. Have to say they made the whole process easy from start to finish. Quick estimate on repair cost. They worked closely with my insurance company. Kept me informed all thru the process. I was pleased with the quality of their work and the warranty they provide. Plus they are just really nice people.

It took from Oct 3rd 2023 to Dec 15, 2023 to get my 2017 Camry back a second time! The first being Nov 23rd( not fixed) and it broke down on the infamously dangerous 63rd Prospect on December the 16th, 2023- Over $13,411.85 has been paid to Carstar this far! *=<>~#!

Carstar on Burlington is the BEST! I ve had a few mishaps in my Cherokee over the last several months, and Eric, Jessica and all the employees have gone above and beyond to make my experience a positive one. I was updated on the progress of my vehicle repair every few days and they had the repairs completed within a couple weeks! They go above and beyond for their customers!

So far, so good. I called CarStar in North Kansas City, MO to make an appointment at the recommendation of my favorite garage, Northtown Car Clinic.A friendly and professional receptionist welcomed me into CarStar's clean, inviting waiting space whilst collision estimate was completed. Excellent first encounter makes me feel secure that my car is in good hands.

I've heard all lovely things about car repairs here, but I can't say the same for the saga I'm currently still in.My car was damaged October 2. They weren't able to start repairs until mid-November, so I signed the form verifying the date of repairs and waited a month and a half.I called the day before the scheduled repair date, and was told that the appointment was actually for the 6th and not the 16th. I hadn't received a call either time (they called the day before my estimate, so I assumed they would also call before repairs), so I was unaware I had the date wrong. They called me back a couple hours later asking me to bring my car in on the 27th, as the technicians were behind.I brought my car in on the 27th, with an estimated completion date of December 20. I was hoping to have my car back in time to travel for Christmas, but the completion date was pushed back to the 22nd, then on the 22nd I received a call that it wasn't done yet, and that maybe it would be ready the following week.I was able to pick up my car on December 29th (yesterday), though I still need to bring it back next week for one more part they haven't received yet.I opened the trunk this morning, and realized the plastic mat on the floor is missing (I assume they removed it to clean it, and hopefully it's drying somewhere in the shop). I also noticed a rattling in my trunk door, and bits of safety glass fall out of the door panel when I close it. None of my windows were broken when my car was damaged, so I'm unsure where they came from, or why they're inside my trunk door.I know scheduling is difficult and miscommunication is common, but this exchange is starting to wear on me. I want to give as much grace as I can, but at this point I'm tired. I dearly hope this is an anomalous occurrence, and that other patrons have the pleasant experiences I hear of.I hope all will be fully amended next week, and I can finally stop worrying about the intact-ness of my car.

I highly recommend them! Had body repair done. They are caring and professional. Car looks great. Had to take a cab to pick up my car after work was done, it was half hour late picking me up and CarStar was closing. Ask your insurance company to recommend someone else. My husband was threatened and surrounded by their employees. He was upset and said the f word because they wouldn't honor the warranty. We got the car back from them a month ago.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

My favorite body shop im KC! These folks have an eye for detail and getting it done right the first time. Great communication, super helpful and I will definitely will go back to them again. If I could give more than a 5 star review would. I told Eric I'd give him 18 stars! This Carstar location has top notch customer service. I took my car in for a catalytic converter repair and they had it fixed same day. The best part was the total cost was under my deductible, so I was able to cancel my claim with insurance. I highly recommend this location to anyone who's looking to be taken care of and treated exceptionally! Thank you so much, Eric!

I almost gave 4 stars, but, couldn't do that because the holdup on getting my car back after an accident was not Car Star's fault. The covid virus and hard times getting parts needed to fix cars has caused delays in getting repairs completed as fast as we would like. The new "normal" causes frustrations for both Car Star and their customers. I am so glad that I did choose them to do the work. I would not have met Eric who kept me posted on how repairs were going! I can be a little impatient but with his wonderful attitude and apologetic nature, I couldn't blame him or the shop for the time it took to get my car back. We even joked how we were on first name basis when we talked. If you are looking for a shop that will do a good job and not cut corners...this place is for you. Thank you Eric, I will miss our chats and your dedication to getting jobs completed as quickly as possible. Car Star...you rock!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

This was a fantastic experience for me. I couldn't be more pleased with the job done. Car star initially said they needed my car for 2 weeks for repairs, turned out to be 4 weeks, and even now, almost two months later my car is still missing a piece and has a very high pitched whistling sound when driving. Haven t heard anything on when this will be resolved. Also, never heard updates unless I called. Would not recommend.Service: Body & Trim

They were awesome! They left continued updates on status of our vehicle. It was done before they promised. And, they even cleaned my vehicle inside and out. Highly recommended!!Edit- we recently brought another vehicle for repair. Once again, outstanding work and amazing customer service! I will never use any other business to fix my car. These guys are the best!!

After my 16-year-old had a run-in with the house, his bumper was hanging on by a thread. Took the car to CarStar and Eric came up with a good, affordable solution that didn t require the expense of replacing the entire bumper (because....it s the car of a 16-year-old after all) but made the car safer to drive and look a whole lot better. Eric kept it on budget and the communication was excellent. Receptionist was also super friendly and helpful. Great experience overall. Thanks!Service: Body & Trim

Had some road debris that hit the front of my car and broke part of a lower grill. i got an estimate and scheduled the fix later. The price was reasonable and the work was done in the time they expected. There was one clarification they called me to ask about (rather than making an assumption). I was impressed with them generally and with Eric (store manager) in particular with whom I had the most interaction. I'd recommend them to others needing work on their car.

My experience with car star was amazing. The manager Eric , took perfect care of my car. The staff is very friendly, and They finished my car in a timely fashion, and would email me updates periodically about how the repairs were going. They even fixed a speaker that was popping off on the inside of my car, free of charge. When I got my car back it was washed and smelled like skittles. 10/10 would recommend this place to a friend.

I m not going to go on and on about my experience. In short, the customer service is top notch. Keeping me updated and making me feel reassured during the process of my repair. Quality of work not impressed. 7 weeks later I get my car back and the panels don t even line up. I found fresh scratches on my bumper but they denied it. No sense in arguing since I can t prove they put them there. They tell me they will make my repair (not scratches) right. So I am giving them a chance, I hope the outcome is like all these other reviews. I ll keep everyone posted on how the end of my experience goes. Maybe it ll be 5 stars. Maybe it will stay 2 stars. CarStar it s up to you now to turn this experience into 5 stars.Follow up:You know how when people always have to have the last word and overly try to show you why things are not their fault, but they are just reaching for some sort of validity. Well that was my final experience. Customer service was fair. Yes I can see how these other reviews had a good experience. Mine just wasn t. After round two of fixing my car. yes they did it in a day. But to try and tell me it s cause I ran over something I m not standing by that. They fixed it yes. But then proceeded to blame me for it. (Side note: the mystery scratches on my bumper never got brought up. ) the work was subpar but in the end it was completed. I d grade it as a B-. Again I can see where most may have been happy with the carstar experience, unfortunately mine was not. In the end they made my car presentable but not to like it was before I was hit. I won t be returning and I made sure my insurance company had time stamps and dates for every complaint I made. Including the ones from when I initially picked it up. And to the employee who tried to blame me Don t worry I replaced the fastener that was removed from my side skirt.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Finding a decent, honest mechanic can be very stressful, and my experience with this business has been nothing short of just that. If I could rate zero stars, unfortunately I would.My passenger door was hit and a large dent and scratches needed to be repaired under an insurance claim. CARSTAR gave me an estimate and said the repair would take about a week. It ended up taking 3 days longer than estimated, so I had to pay for a rental car even longer than expected. After CARSTAR finished the repair, I noticed scratches on my trim on my door that were not there when I brought the car in for the initial repair. This was very frustrating and time consuming for someone who works full time and has to arrange alternative vehicles for travel and day-to-day driving. I was told that they would replace the trim since they caused the scratches. I brought my car back in to have this done and then was not offered a courtesy vehicle, instead had to drive myself back to my apartment with the mechanic riding in my car so that he could drive the car back to the shop to repair it... it was very uncomfortable and I was very confused why they did not take me back in a different vehicle. I wasted gas and my time driving to and from the repair shop multiple times when the damage was their fault. When I came to pick my car up for the second time, due to their fault, I noticed in the light that the initial repair of the dent and scratches to my passenger door were not repaired correctly and the dent could still be seen. The manager denied that this was their fault and said it must've been a door ding, even though I had barely had the car for a few days when I noticed this issue. They eventually fixed it, but when I came to pick it up, I noticed even MORE scratches on my door that were not previously there. I bought my car damage and scratch-free, so I ensured that CARSTAR make it right. They were able to buff out the scratches, but I was feeling very upset that this had taken so much of my time for a repair that should've been taken care of the first time around.In the end, I had to bring my car back into the shop three times because it was not repaired correctly and more damage to other areas of my car was caused during the repair. I do not normally write reviews, but I wanted to make sure to warn anyone considering using this shop for repair work. They were unprofessional , not timely, caused damage to my car and refused to take ownership for not repairing the damage correctly the first time.
