Came in for a battery replacement. Josh was quick, professional, and helped me install with no time wasted. He gave me some tips on some basic maintenance and even helped me change out my wiper blades. Its awsome to have a friendly and knowledgeable person like Josh at the store. Top notch service!

It's Happening Again! Great service at Advanced Auto Parts on Wornall!!Recently replaced the OSS sensor on an 08 Lincoln MKX and put it back together and it wouldn't shift properly. In an effort to understand the problem before we took it all apart, "again", we stopped by Advanced.Tracey, met us with a friendly greet and explained that what we were looking for was probably not the problem. Instead she suggested we should look at the Neutral Safety Bypass Switch. She let us know she had one if needed.The next day we took the cover off the front of the transmission and sure enough the pintle of the Neutral Safety Bypass Switch was not connected to the horizontal slide mechanism that initiates gear shifts.Thanks Tracy for great customer service and knowing your job!!Scott/MattPS: This store ROCKS!! Recently stopped by and when I came out the truck would not start! Curtis came right out, tested the battery and determined loose battery cables - better than that he had the tools to tighten them up! Off I went!! Thanks Curtis!!

This store has the most ignorant and arrogant staff. Will tell you whatever they need to not to have to do any actual work. You aren't "allowed" to sell led headlights? Are you dumb? It took you 30 minutes to come up with that? Disrespectful as well when you tell them you are in a hurry they tell you to leave. It's not my fault you applied at a low paying job. The staff is entitled, ignorant and overly cocky for the career path they chose, for what? I don't know.

Good guys and friendly service. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the website said they would help with battery installation. And they did not have enough employees to help me install in the company truck.Thank goodness I got it myself.Cause Diesel batteries take a while.

I was leaving for the weekend and needed my battery replaced as soon as possible. The cashier found the correct battery I needed quickly and another associate that was supposed to head to his break or end of shift took his own time to install the battery and get me on the road. I am very thankful for both of the associates time and knowledge!

We had to go in to replace a shot battery. Eddie helped us out - he was very knowledgeable, fast, and absolutely hilarious to talk to! He was able to test our old battery and set us up with a new one in maaaybe fifteen minutes. The rest of the staff was helpful and all-in-all turned a pretty boring trip into an enjoyable outing.

Great service always here. I came in this evening with a completely corroded and broken battery terminal that would ve been a dealer only part on my way out of town. Tracy helped me diagnose, modify and make the repair right there in the parking lot. Thanks to her I was back on the road! She spent at least 30 minutes helping me with tools and gloves. Wow.

Eddie is the nicest human being. He walked me through picking out the right windshield wiper replacements, and then offered to install them for me. You don t get customer service like that everyday.

I drive out of my way to go to this store. The people who work here are always helpful and they can actually hear what a woman is asking for! One would think the English language would be sufficient, but at many auto parts stores they look at me like I couldn't possibly want what I'm asking for. If I'm looking for a gasket they find one for me. If I need 90weight oil they don't act like they don't know what it is without saying gearbox. Honestly, you would think other stores don't want to sell what they carry! I will drive the extra few miles to get helpful people.

Staff is friendly but sold me a battery that was smaller than original assuring me not a bigger one was needed. Now every winter I have problems with starting. Tell them about and they say battery is good must be something else. Well I've tested the vehicle at several shops and they find nothing wrong but advance auto still does nothing because they claim battery is fine. I asked to pay difference of bigger battery but still no help.

Only one guy at the counter who was busy with a customer and answering phones. No less that 3 people talking in the back of the store. After 5-10 minutes I left and went next door where I was greeted and paid for the part in love less time than I wasted at Advance. You lost a good customer.

Eddie is a cool, knowledgeable guy who takes stock in your issue and finds it as a personal challenge to solve your issue. He will probably say he is just doing his job, but he is being humble. He raises the bar.

From the looks of these reviews, I'm not the only one who thinks Eddie is crushing it in the customer service department. While traveling on a business trip Eddie helped me out with a new battery for my car. To say he went above and beyond would be an understatement; especially compared to the service I typically receive at other huge retailers. He tested my battery while demonstrating a huge depth of knowledge about auto batteries and their inner works.Once he confirmed that my battery was kaput, he installed a new battery with such care you would have thought mine was his own personal vehicle. He took the time to clean the corroded connections and the battery bay of the car; he even sprayed all the bolts with WD40 ("to make the job easier for the next guy"). Eddie definitely needs a raise and I fully expect to see him running this store or the company very soon. Kudos to someone who takes pride in their work!

Great staff at this location. While the battery installation is part of the service they made sure that it was working before I left. The staff always give me good advice, they don't just try to sell you parts. Thanks Advance Auto Parts.

They would not scan my car to see why it was misfiring. Orielly auto parts did scan t and sold me the right part that fixed my issue. In this day and age don t let a corporate store label you as a time waster by an hourly employee. Eye opener

This Sunday morning I purchased wiper blades from Costco across the street from your store but they don't install so I came to your store for installation. The two people setting behind the counter said they can't install wiper blades sold by another store. I was the only customer in the store. They pointed to their wiper blades but neither of them got up to help me find the correct size for my car. I thanked them and left the without making a purchase. I went to Firestone where I purchase tires. The worker tried to install the Costco wiper blades but was unsuccessful so instead he installed their wiper blade at no charge. I returned the Costco wiper blades for a full refund. It is not just about companies that relocate out of the USA. Unfortunately workers practice little to no customer service. Needless to say I will never do business with your store

I drove south to the Advance Auto Parts store to find some magnets for my Nissan Sentra and I did find them in the store!I didn't take any photos of this Store when I was there, however if you're interested in contacting this Auto Parts Store on Wornall Road in the future, I'd recommend that everyone who'd like to find Auto Parts, considering shopping for Auto Parts at this Store.

Very helpful staff. Thought my battery might have been shot. They tested it and it was reading my battery was ok. It just needed the corrosion cleaned off the posts. Saved me 150 bucks!

My husband needed a tool for a repair to his car. I like that you can borrow some tools for car repairs. We picked it up and they put a hold on on the money and when we returned it they released the the hold.
